🌹 Rose Giving A Red Lion

The hardest part of the rose giving was tying to find the right person. Miles remembered how hard it was last year, and it turned out that it was just as hard this time around as well. Sometimes he thought everyone should gather in the Great Hall, and they could give out the roses then. But no, he apparently had to trek around the castle looking for his delivery recipients. And his first delivery happened to be another Gryffindor, he found himself loitering around the Gryffindor table. "Is there an Esme Styx-Cade around here?"

"Yeah there is, you know you look weird loitering around the table right? Esme teased the younger Gryffindor. She wasn't sure why he seemed like a lost puppy when he was at his own table. "I'm Esme by the way, in case it wasn't obvious,"

"Well, it's working for me so far," maybe he did have to snap back. He was finding everyone he needed to, so he was just going to continue his current method until he suddenly stopped working for him. But he had found his target, reaching for the bright red rose and handing it over with the note attached. "Well, here you go."
