🌹 Rose Giving The biggest thanks

Dominic had managed to cross a lot of names off his list simply during breakfast in the great hall, and as as he was on a roll, he thought he may as well try one more. The teen approached the Gryffindor table and spoke loudly over the crowd. "Miles Flynn! I have a rose for you!" he exclaimed, hoping he was nearby. Breakfast was beginning to end, so if he couldn't find him, he would have to try elsewhere.

Getting two roses was bad enough, even more mortifying than usual given the fact his own sister had delivered one, and it was pink. Miles still had no idea who it was from, and he was still pretty embarrassed even thinking about the note. Someone, apparently, thought he was cute and didn't even think to tell him their name. So now he couldn't help but anxiously wonder who out there thought he was cute enough to send a stupid pink rose to. He was still so caught up thinking about it that he almost missed when someone else called his name, groaning slightly as he looked up from the table he'd been staring at. "That's me. Unfortunately."

Dominic looked over at the Gryffindor who spoke. He clearly didn't seem very happy about receiving a rose, and a pink one at that. The Hufflepuff headed over to him. "Happy Valentine's Day." he said, handing over the rose that had a note attached to its stem.
