🌹 Rose Giving Yellow for the Slytherin

He recognized the surname on this next rose, he knew that Mania had siblings, but he hadn't ever really spoken to any of them before. But, he had paid enough attention during the sorting ceremony to sort of vaguely, kind of, remember that the sister had been sorted into Slytherin. Not that he remembered anything else about the girl but if he couldn't find her he supposed he could just give the rose to Mania for her to pass on. But, it was too early to give up, frowning as he looked up and down the Slytherin table. "Gaia Athanasiou! Rose delivery for you."

He was equal parts thankful and equal parts a little surprised when one of the girls actually ended up responding to his aimless name-calling. At least the method had worked out, and he tried to hold a smile on his face as he moved further down the table towards the younger girl. "Perfect, I have a yellow rose for you," he quickly found the one he was looking for, holding it towards the younger girl to take, "Your Nia's sister, right?"

Gaia stared at the boy as he gave her the rose and then took it. Opening the note made a smile form on her lips and she then looked back up at the boy. There it was, the question of whether she was related to Nia or not. In all honesty Gaia was proud to call the Gryffindor her sister, but it still felt weird admitting to random people who was and wasn't her sibling but that was just what Nia liked to lovingly call 'her less than sociable personality. Giving a quick nod she responded. "Yup, one of many I fear," And probably the favourie one too, but this boy didn't need to know that. "You are one of her friends right?" She asked in return, trying to accomplish whether or not this boy would have her approval of being worthy of being Nia's friend.


(So sorry Gaia is very very protective over Nia I have learned )

"Well, isn't it a good thing to get a lot of roses, then that means you're popular," maybe some people out there saw it like that, while he was still very much in the position of thinking it was just embarrassing. But he wasn't about to be a downer about it, this was supposed to be a fun time for everyone, and people out there probably loved getting roses. He just had no idea if Gaia was one of those people or not. As for his relationship with Nia, he smiled and nodded. "Yeah, I guess so. We haven't really hung out much this year though, but we get along and she's pretty cool."
