🌹 Rose Giving While away the hours confiring with the flowers

Hugo stepped outside. it was a busy day wandering around the castle delivering flowers but he had heard that the person delivering this one might be found in the garden. and it was sich a nice day a little fresh air would be nice. he wandered out of the castle and towards the carden where the smell of plants other than roses drifted towards him. He had heard a description of the girl he was delivering to after working out she was a Hufflepuff first year and asking at the Hufflepuff table, and he saw someone a couple of flower beds over who seemed to match the description perfectly. "Hello. Are you juniper?" he asked, trying to make his way around the garden beds, pretty sure he would get in trouble wth a groundskeeper, an herbology professor, or a wild patch club if he walked across them.

hugo hadnt meant to make the girl jump. he hadnt thought that he was that intimidating. but thinking bck to his first year what felt like a lifetime ago he remembered how biig and important the seventh years were. especially the prefects and head people. they were people to be respected. though he realised he didnt feel like that myself, he was just Hugo. "Sorry, i didnt mean to make you jump. and i have no problem with people enjoying the garden." he said. pretty sure the reason the flowers were here was for people to appreciate them. I have a rose delivery for you" he said. struggling to find a path through the plant beds without going alll the way around. He picked up the yellow rose and took his wand out of his pocket, casting a hover charm on it and directing it across the garden. "here you go" he said.

Hugo watched as the girl seemed to lighten as he said she had a rose, and she took it. from the air. hugo was glad that worked. and he watched as she seemed to sag slightly again as she read the note. he felt a little guilty he had only just met her but she seemed sweet. he looked around to see if he could get through and realsied there was a small gap not too far away between the flower beds probably designed for dranage of the path or something. he sneaked through so he wasnt having to shout across the garden. "Hey, are you okay?" he asked. "If they sent you a yellow rose, they probably think of you as a friend", he said, hoping that it was true. and not someone pulling a mean joke.
When she asked how his deliveries were going, he looked at his bucket. "I'm getting through them. only ac couple left." he said. "Are you delivering today? How are they going? he asked. wondering if she was struggling to find people as mich as he was. especially peoplf who he didnt know.

Lilith was on her way to deliver a rose when she walked past Hugo, giving the head boy a quick wave as well as to the first year he was probably delivering a rose to.
