yellow rose for @Turlough Whitlock

Marley pretty much decided the best course of action was just to yell out the name and walk around the castle. It seemed like the logical thing to do at this point. Marley moved onto the courtyard, looking around, noticing a few people around the courtyard. "Excuse me! Anyone here named Turlough Whitlock around here? Turlough Whitlock?!" Marley called out as she looked around the courtyard once again, hoping the person she was looking for was around somewhere

Turlough was on his way back from a quick walk he'd taken to clear his head, planning to meet back up with his brother at the castle. He paused though as he heard his name and turned to find a girl he'd seen around the Hufflepuff hall with a basket of roses. He bit back a groan, and the urge to just keep walking, and approached her. "Yeah, yeah, that's me," He griped, one hand stuffed in his pocket. "Let's just get it over with,"

Marley gave the younger boy a small grin before digging into her basket, looking for the right rose she needed to deliver to the boy. It wasn't long before she managed to find the right rose and note, before passing it to the younger boy. "Yellow rose for you"

Sorry for crashing into you on the hallway, I promise to be more careful in the future.

Turlough raised a brow, taking the rose and scanning the note. He'd almost expected it to be from Tanith, but he was surprised to see it wasn't. It took him a second to think of who it was from. "Oh, her," he shrugged and held the rose back out to the deliverer. "No thanks. You can keep it."

Marley frowned as the boy didn't want the rose. "Oh? You don't want the rose?" Marley tilted her head in confusion. Marley quickly shook her head, declining the offer of the rose. "Oh no, I can't do that" Marley says with a shake of her head, thinking about the person who had sent the boy the rose. All that hard work of them sending the rose, and then the boy not wanting it. She felt bad.

Turlough shrugged. "I'd just lose it. I got the message, I'll keep the note. You should take the flower. I'm sure you'll appreciate it more than I will." He tried again, willing to just put it back in the basket if she kept trying to deny it. He wasn't really a flowers kind of guy. "Besides, I don't like apology flowers."
