Hugo didnt have many roses left to deliver. His bucket was still full of flowers, but there were only a couple of flowers left. one was a yellow rose for what seemed to be a very popular first year. He knew Freddie from around the common room. he wasnt sure where to find the first year. he wasnt looking too hard. after all he could deliver it tonight, or at the very least leave it in the doem. he had just delivered in the library and stuck his nose into the lounge to check if anyone he needed to see was there. hr saw the first year inside and walked over to him. "Hey Freddie. i have a rose for you" he said

Freddie was delivering his roses. Slowly. Waiting 'til after breakfast had been a bad idea. Everyone was spread all over the castle now, and he didn't know where else to look. Nobody was where he thought they were gonna be. It was a big waste of floo powder, he thought, as he kicked a beanbag chair back into shape with his foot. He'd do the rest of them at lunch.

He was about to plant himself on the beanbag when a voice made him stand up straight again. "What?" he said. He'd gotta stop saying 'What?'. Aunt Thalia really hated it. "Really?"

Hugo saw the boy stand up. he was only a first year but he had the sort of gravity to him whre he seemed to get noticed and atttract people to his orbit. it seemed like he had been just about to sit down on one of the comfortable beanbags that hugo had often enjoyed afternoons reading in but then stood up. "Yes really really, a yellow one" he said reaching into his bucket to pick up the yellow rose with Freddie's note on it. "here you go" he said handing it over.
