Rose had to admit she really enjoyed the Yule ball each time she’d attended. It was sort of a borderline feeling, because she wasn’t a big fan of people watching her, but she liked being there with the ambience. She liked watching her siblings, or her friends, she liked dressing up a little even though she didn’t realy like people looking at her, or being in crowds of people - and the big thing of course was that he really liked spending time with Amory. It was fun seeing what he was going to say or do, and he made her laugh a lot, which wasn’t an easy feat as much as some people might have thought that it was. There was something about how he just got her sometimes, and she never had to explain anything to him. So she held onto his arm as they headed into the ball, and she looked around to see who she could spy. “I wish they’d have a theme sometimes, you attend one ball you’ve attended them all,” she said idly, looking at the same decorations she’d seen last year.

Rose huffed a bit, and tilted her head to the side as she looked at him properly. “Well, with a choice like that, obviously judging people is going to be the default,” she said, because that should have been obvious. She shook her head and gestured to what her brother was wearing. “You’d have thought he could have put on a tie or something,” she couldn’t believe all of her siblings were learning such bad habits. Still, she gave his arm a gentle squeeze, mostly to remind herself that she was hanging on to him and she didn’t have to worry about people looking at her. She didn’t think she would have the strength to attend if he wasn’t standing right beside her. “But I wouldn’t be opposed to food either. Or skating. Maybe. If we don’t fall and die.” It shouldn’t happen, because she is not too bad at most sports, though obviously flying was much her preference. “What’s your risk tolerance tonight?”​
