Ravage Zhefarovich had no idea why he was here at the dance. Why he had asked Sayuri. Why he had asked his parents for a suit for this. The suit would last him a life time. He did not need to come to the dance, but alas. He had Sayuri on his arm, leading the way to the yule ball as if they had a date. Was it a date? Ravage felt like it was date. He was dressed up. He did this on a whim. Might as well continue it out. What was the worst that could happen? "Do you know the social expectations for one of these dances, Sayuri?" Ravage asked plainly.

Sayuri had not really attended any of the school functions since entering Hogwarts New Zealand. She wasn't expecting to attend this year either, but alas, Ravage Zhefarovich had decided to ask her to attend the Yule Ball with him. When he did, she looked at him with scrutiny, suspicious that it was the cockroach in disguise. When it seemed like it was really the Zhefarovich, she told him what time to expect her to be ready so they could head to the Ball together. She hadn't really wanted to make a big deal out of attending, so she hadn't written home to ask for a dress to be sent her way and instead went and asked her cousin for any dress that the Hufflepuff could spare. She should have been more specific because now she was in a light cream dress that she didn't really think suited her, and she was starting to think she should start investing in dresses. Maybe she'll even bring Jonah shopping. "One would expect that it would be to dance Ravage," she answered just as blandly as she subtly pulled him towards the direction of the dance floor.

Of course, the way Sayuri would answer Ravage's question would be in sarcasm. Ravage had hoped that would not be the case but alas, she even gave him the hint to come out to the dance floor. So, that must have meant that she wanted to dance. If she wanted a bad dancer to make fun of, she would need to find someone else since he was decent. He sighed as he walked to the dance floor, sort of taking the lead so that Sayuri did not feel like she was taking charge or forcing him - which would be horrible since he was the one that asked her. "I assumed that much. Other expectations was what I was asking for," Ravage shrugged his shoulders and put his other hand on her side.
