Morrie hadn't bothered with a fancy dress costume this year as she didn't intend to stay long at the feast anyway. She ate some food then circled the Great Hall twice until she decided to try out the grindylow piñata on her way out. She let herself be blindfolded and handed a bat. She swung once, missed. She swing again and missed again. “Urgh, this is annoying,” she muttered, lowering the blindfold to around her neck so she could see properly, not understanding the point of being blindfolded in the first place anyway. She raised the bat again and started whacking the piñata and no longer missing any swings. Sweets were falling out but Morrie didn't care. Nope, she got too distracted when she imagined the piñata was a certain Slytherin's face, one that had been giving her trouble this semester. Morrie didn’t stop whacking it over and over again.

Cassandra had dressed up as a cheerleader, simply because they had cute outfits. A cute top and a cute miniskirt? Yeah she wasn't about to pass the opportunity and because she couldn't be bothered with anything fancier. Taking a stroll around the great hall she had some snacks and looked at what the other people were doing. Seeing a girl that was at least a year older than abusing that poor piñata the Gryffindor decided to take her chances and approach her. Hey she had the piñata so Cassie should be safe, right? "Oh my, I'd hate to be that poor piñata oorrr whoever you are thinking of while smacking it." She commented with a small grin as she got closer.

Morrie couldn't say how many times she whacked Mik... the piñata, but it was a lot of times. By the time she was done, it was destroyed to pulp. Morrie lowered the bat and stepped back, her chest heaving and clearly pleased with her work. When she registered that someone was speaking to her, she turned and scowled at them, her default look, and wondering what they wanted. "Yeah," Morrie took a deep breath, "It felt good though. I'd recommend trying it, but you'll need a new piñata."

Cassandra raised her brows at the reaction she got, cute. "Yeah I suppose I'd need a new one but I think I'll manage just fine. No pent up rage to let out for me, left that all back at home if there was any to begin with." She said, in all honesty there wasn't really any of that back at Scotland but if there was she'd cross that bridge when she got there. "Who's got you so worked up anyways? Must have done a number on you," Cassandra couldn't help but to try get the gossip if there was any to begin with.

No pent up rage? Morrie looked at the younger girl like she had just spoken utter nonsense because quite frankly, she had. Morrie didn't see how anyone could not have pent up rage, but she did have an idea from it. She pulled out her wand, pointing it at the girl briefly at first, just to test for a rage reaction, then she aimed it at the piñata. "Reparo!" She cast, returning it to it's former glory, almost. Morrie wasn't that great at that spell and it was still tatty around the edges and a little more lop sided than before she had gotten to it, but otherwise perfectly functional. "Go on, prove it. Prove you don't have any pent up rage." She offered her the bat and tucked her wand away again.

Cassandra followed the girls movements and just cocked her head with a smile as the wand was cast at her. Just as she was about to dare the girl to cast something at her the redhead turned to her previous victim, repairing it.... to some extent. Taking the bat offered she looked at the piñata then the girl. "I see someone has a severe case of trust issues, or you just think everyone has tons of rage inside them." Cassie made a shrug before turning the bat in her hand getting a feel of it. "I don't really have any pent up anger but I'll give it a smack just for good measure," the fourth year said before giving one good smack. She used to play baseball so smacking things with bats, albeit it was usually a ball, wasn't really a new thing for her. "Have you ever tried those rage rooms? Heard they were great, I am sooo jealous of my old friends who go to them to release stress or whatever. They should definitely have things like that in the magical world, since its so easy to fix it all too..." Matter of fact that was a great idea, someone definitely should put one of those things up sooner rather than later.

Morrie watched the girl take a swing the bat and snorted. “That’s all you got? Pathetic.” She scoffed, thoroughly unimpressed with the effort. "Think of someone, or something, that you hate. Then hit it again." Morrie listened to the Gryffindor talk about a rage room whatever that was. She hadn’t heard of it before. She wouldn’t mind something like that here, and since Professor Alcott-Ward had offered support previously, maybe if she asked nicely, he’d give her a rage room in the castle. Something to think about at least, as she stood there watching the other girl to see if she'd take another swing at the piñata.

Cassandra considered it, the other girl seemed hell bent on giving this poor piñata another beating. Thinking back at anything that would make her blood boil Cassie kind of came up empty, she didn't care enough to get angry about old things. "Nope really I got nothing, there's no point dwelling in the past and getting angry about those things. Though you really should try out a rage room." The brunette finally said giving the bat back. She was not too interested on giving this thing a beating, not when the other girl needed it more. "You should give it another go, you look like you could use another session with it," She shrugged tilting her head. Perhaps if she beat up the piñata enough times she'd feel better.

Morrie didn't take the bat from the girl when she offered it back, "No thanks, I'm bored of that now." She said dismissing the whole activity with a hand wave. Part of Morrie's problem was that nothing ever made her feel better for long. Take this conversation for example, she was okay with the way it was going until the girl said Morrie looked like she needed another session. Was she making a joke or something? A dig maybe. "What's that supposed to mean?" She snapped, her eyes narrowed as she dropped the relative politeness, by Morrie's standards, that she had been showing so far.

Cassandra was tempted to say Suit yourself, but decided against it in the end. That seemed like it might have been a good decision given the girl seemed to take her comment a bit strongly. Perhaps the Gryffindor could have worded it better than that she looked like she could use another session, but really she kind of looked and not in a bad way. At least Cassie didn't think but who knows. "Nothing I just meant that well you did point your wand at me on top of looking like I just killed your puppy when you first looked at me." The girl had lost that particular look but now it was kind of back, as a result of Cassandra's own words perhaps. Raising her hands in surrender Cassie shrugged once more, "I didn't mean it in a negative way." Perhaps one of these days she'd learn to think before saying things but that day would not be today, perhaps not tomorrow either.... but one day.

Morrie frowned, unimpressed with the answer the Gryffindor was giving her. “Right. So you just insulted me and then act confused and say it wasn't meant to be negative when I don't take it like a compliment?” She crossed her arms, wand still within reach just in case she needed it. She didn't think it would be necessary though. “And for the record, if I had a puppy and you killed it then I’d be smiling. I don’t like puppies much.”
