Open Watching Hufflepuff Tryouts

Charlotte had decided not to try out again for the quidditch team. Beater didn't really suit her, and she would rather spend her time decking out her uniform than getting it sweaty. The Hufflepuff did think it was fun to watch, though, and she took a crochet project with her onto the stands, watching as things got started to see if there was anything that happened.

All Logan had been focused on lately was Quidditch, he wanted- no, needed to make the team this year. So when he heard that the Hufflepuff tryouts were happening, seemingly a bit earlier than Slytherin, he decided it wouldn't hurt to go watch. He might pick up on some useful tips of what to do, or maybe what not to do. It wasn't like he expected that much out of Hufflepuff, but he needed to do anything he could. The boy made his way into the stands, wondering if he'd get kicked out for spying or whatever. Probably not, considering he wasn't a part of the Slytherin team (yet). He frowned a bit as he looked at a girl sitting nearby, turning his head from her to the pitch and back. "Weren't you on the team, last year?" He asked her after a moment. He was pretty sure, he had followed all the games pretty closely last year. "Why aren't you over there?"

Charlotte starting weaving her yarn together with the crochet hook when she realized someone was talking to her. She shrugged and gave the boy a smile. "I was, but I dunno. I just don't think sports are my thing to play. I like watching them," she grinned before wincing as one of her fellow Hufflepuffs got knocked pretty hard with a bludger. "Plus, I don't really like hurting people, and that's what it feels like to play beater." She looked at the boy and wasn't sure if they had met before. She always had a hard time keeping track of names and places and things, feeling a little flightly sometimes. "Are you trying out or just watching, too?"
