Benicio was a bit slower on the uptake this time around. He'd been distracted by the students and then the professor talking. The Hufflepuff looked around for an empty chair, but there were none to be found. The teen kicked at the floor, annoyed at himself for being out so early in the game.
Benicio stood up as the music continued, more on guard this second time around. He remained a bit closer to the chairs as he began to move around them.
Something about getting a rose for Valentine's Day, even if it was just a yellow one, had prompted him to re-engage with the world. Where before he'd just slogged through classes, not really caring, now he was at least attempting to take notes and study a bit. And he was trying to interact...
Benicio nodded in agreement. The house elves did a great job of preparing food for them each day, but today they'd outdone themselves. "Is there anything you don't like?" he quipped as he finished up his first treat and considered another option. The volume in the room was picking up as...
Benicio wished the music was a little louder so he could just go about his business pretending the music had overpowered anything else he might hear, but that wasn't the case. He looked suspiciously at the chocolate for a moment, the magical world did have trick candy after all. But there was a...
Benicio had bounded out of bed after receiving the rose with a pep in his step that had been missing for some time. He didn't have a date, how could he when he'd isolated himself so much, but he decided it wasn't a good enough reason to miss out on some treats.
So dressed in some slacks...
"No problem" Benicio smiled, glad he'd made another successful delivery. He paused and then waved. "Ok, bye!" he turned around and jogged off to finish his work.
"I should be, but...I decided to take a break" the third year admitted. "Do you know any of these people?" He nodded to the roses he was meant to be delivering, the name tags easy to read.
Benicio was glad he didn't have to do too much chasing and that she stopped to wait. He pulled up right in front of her, holding the rose out. He was only a little bit out of breath. "Here you go."
Benicio was glad to almost be done. It had been a busy, eventful day and he was both hungry and tired. Searching for a Ravenclaw up here made the most sense to him and he hoped he could find her quickly and make it to the Great Hall before all of the dessert was gone. "Hey, you!" he yelled as...
Benicio knew this was a dangerous place for him to check because he could very, very easily be distracted by anything in here. The Hufflepuff walked in, murmuring to himself about not getting distracted as he began a quick search for a Hufflepuff. "Excuse me, but are you Ezra?" he asked...
