🌹 Rose Giving Yellow Buds for a Raven

Marley knew she was almost there with the roses; she just had a couple more to go. The next name she was also familiar with. Another Quidditch player's name. The Hufflepuff decided to take a trip to the towers, hoping to find Lilith on her way there. So far she had no luck, but had noticed a few Ravenclaws near by and decided to head towards them. "Hiya! Have you seen Lilith? Lilith Ilves? I have a rose to pass on to her," Marley says with a small smile, as she also looks around where she stood, just in case she caught the girl around.

Lilith had delivered most of her roses already and she was on her way up to the common room when she heard someone asking around for her. Turning around she spotted one of the Hufflepuff beaters, Marley she was pretty sure. "Hi, over here!" She called out starting to walk towards the girl. "A rose?" She asked with a smile, she'd received a few already but it was always nice to get roses.

Marley grins when she notices Lilith is close by. She says a quick thanks and bye to the few students she had asked before moving her attention to Lilith. "Yup! A rose for you!" Marley says with a cheerful grin, before digging into her basket, finding the corresponding rose. "A yellow rose for you!" Marley says with a small smile, as she then passes the yellow rose and note towards her.

Lilith smiled as she took the rose with its note. "Thank you," she said to Marley before opening the note. It was from Eli and her heart broke a little at the fact that the boy thought he'd have to make something up to her. There was no need, but she was glad they were still friends too. With a smile the third year pocketed the note. "Thanks again Marley, hope your day and deliveries are going good?" She shifted her attention back to the older beater.

Marley grins. "It's no worries! Just doing our rose delivery duties," Marley says with a giggle and a silly salute to the girl. She had hoped the Ravenclaw liked her rose and received a nice note at least. Marley gives the girl a small smile. "Deliveries are going good! I forgot how exhausting it is finding the people, though. You really never know where they are," Marley says with a small laugh and shrug of her shoulders. "But my day has been good for sure! How's your deliveries and day been going?"
