It had been a whole year since Joceline had spoken to her friends back in France, and she hadn't written them since the summer of last year because she was busy with classes and she didn't like lying to them about being a witch as they were muggles. So when Wendy told her that she had spent her vacation with her mother and her friends she immediately had the thought to write them once more, even though they probably wouldn't be speaking much to her now as they also had school.
She sighed as she reached the cold Owlrey, the longing to be with her friends in beautiful France had made her so much colder then the weather could ever make her. She pulled out her parchment frustratedly as she leaned against the rough stone of the window sill. "God I hate it here," she murmured in French, her blue eyes looking down at the beige parchment. She shrugged her shoulders and scrapped the parchment, deciding she would use plain old paper and pen to write to them, she didn't much care for these things she had to use now.
Joceline reached into the pocket of her tweed coat, finding that she had a pen and her wand there. She smiled inwardly and summoned a sheet of paper, as she waited for it to come towards her from the dungeons she turned around leaning her back against the stone, and she adjusted her white scarf comfortably, before putting one of her hands back into her coat, the other one ready to catch the paper coming her way.
