Felix was exhausted. He had his first patrol last night and he hadn't expected it to go so late or cut into his precious sleep time so much. But he was paying for it today and he could hardly keep his eyes open even though he was taking a break form his homework to flip through a quidditch magazine that had been left behind by someone else. But their loss was his reward as he looked at an advertisement for the new line of firebolt brooms. He thought he might start drooling if he looked at it any longer but then he saw the price and nearly dropped the magazine. Felix had his job at the Menagerie and even saving all of his birthday and Christmas money, he might be able to afford it long after he graduated. He sighed and flipped a few more pages, trying to forget about the worlds most perfect broom before he had to get back to his transfiguration homework.

Brevity hadn't been enjoying a lot of the things that made up school. There really wasn't anything special about this place. She'd met about one cool person in the school so far, but that was about it. The teen had been struggling to find the motivation to even bother with her classes, but there was still a lot of time. There was nothing to do in the school. She had seen everything, explored everything, spoken to people. It just was…boring. The girl headed into the student lounge, one of the few places that wasn't too bad, since it wasn't all green and slytherin-y and filled with terrible people. As she looked for a spot in the room, she spotted a slightly familiar face. She approached him, since she had nothing else to do. "Oh hey....Felix right?" Brevity sat down in front of the boy who had worked with her.

Felix paused his reading when he heard someone greet him. He looked up and had to blink a few times to figure out what he was seeing. "Brevity?" he said unsure but nodded. "Yeah it's Felix." he said still feeling a little dazed. He had met the girl over the break at the Menagerie. He hadn't gotten to know her very well and he knew he could be clueless at time but he was sure he hadn't missed seeing her around the castle for the last four years. "You go here?" It was a dumb question but he couldn't help it.
