Taylor slipped away from the celebrations that were taking place in the Gryffindor Common Room. After having showered and dressed in some of her most comfortable clothes (track-pants and ugg boots) she made her way to the grounds. She was still a bit achy, but her excitement would not be taken away by her sore limbs. She headed to the cliffs, the place she had arranged to meet for some much deserved time with her boyfriend, he had won his game too after all. Things were going so smoothly, Taylor was almost expecting something to go wrong, but time had gone by and nothing had turned bad. The Gossip Mag had shut up after Isabella was revealed, so there was nothing to damage Tay and Scorp's relationship, her Dad wasnt as embarassing as Taylor had assumed he would be and Quidditch had been a huge success.

Taylor leaned back against a large rock when she reached the cliffs. The light Autumn breeze pushed her long blonde hair out of her face, her cheeks still tinted slightly red from the game and the hot shower that followed. She inwardly smiled, feeling so relaxed, even though the last remants of adrenaline still pushed through her veins.

Things seemed to be going good for Scorpius right now, though he had to admit as he devoted his time to his studies more he wasn't seeing his friends as often. Still, he was at an all time high because his House had won their first Quidditch match and he was on the team. He just swelled with pride when he reminded himself of that fact. Immediately following their game had been the Gryffindor vs. Hufflepuff game. Even though he was sore and tired out from their intense game the day before, he was still there in the stands the next day, watching anxiously and cheering both teams on, afraid to choose sides. In Gryffindor was his girlfriend Taylor who was their Seeker, but in Hufflepuff was his best mate Sam who was a Beater, just like him. It was almost too nerve-wrecking to watch, and he had to wonder if they felt the same way when watching him and Toni compete against each other. In the end Gryffindor had won and Scorpius cheered with the rest of the stands, thinking he would've cheered in victory regardless of whoever won.

Now after the game was over he and Taylor had agreed to have some much wanted alone time. He was sure Gryffindor would be having a victory party in their common room just as Ravenclaw did last night, but time alone sounded much better to him. Still in his white shirt, black jeans, and a grey sweater over, Scorpius made his way to the cliffs where the couple had agreed to meet. The sun was coming down soon so he took off his sunglasses and let them hang on the front of his shirt. As he walked up to the cliffs he saw that familiar figure that always made him smile no matter what and a grin erupted on his face. Coming up behind her he put his hands over her eyes and playfully said, "Boo!"

Taylor jumped when hands covered her eyes, but within seconds she identified Scorpius' voice. A grin spread across her face as she raised her hands to cover his own. "Scorpius." She said as a form of greeting in a playful tone. She tugged the hands gently off her eyes and pushed off the rock she was leaning against to slip her hands around his waist. Snuggling her head into the crook of his neck, she breathed in the familiar scent of her boyfriend. After a moment or two of simply appreciating the fact that Scorpius was with her, she pulled back slightly to look up at the Ravenclaw's face. "Congratulations on your game! You were a fantastic Beater!" She said cheerfully with a wink at the use of their long-lasting joke, she of course had been in the stands, but the Ravenclaw and Slytherin game had been alot more hectic than the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff one had. Scorpius would have had to work alot harder than Taylor did during his match. So the couple had agreed after both games had been played they would catch up for congratulations.

Scorpius grinned in response to Taylor correctly identifying him. Of course, who else would she be expecting? he thought to himself playfully before actually considering the horrid thought. He knew he was just scaring himself so he quickly rid his mind of those silly thoughts and wrapped his arms around her happily, wanting to twirl her but knowing she was probably tired or sore from the game. Well maybe not sore, her game had, thankfully, not been as hectic or brutal as theirs was. Henric had really hurt his nose with a kick to the face but his usual trip to the Hospital Wing had him all better as if nothing had happened. He didn't know what he'd do if Taylor's game had been as nasty as theirs was, probably freak out in the stands with worry and anxiety, afraid that she'd get hurt. "Congratulations on your win," he returned with a smile, glad that hers hadn't turned out that way, calmly dismissing her congratulations to him. "And you were a fantastic Seeker," he complimented her, making sure to emphasize their on-going joke that was now so common in their conversations. "Gryffindor is lucky to have you as their Seeker, you won the match for them!" he exclaimed with pride for his girlfriend as he held her close but still where they could see each other well.

"Thanks." She said, her eyes sparkling, her blush not letting the pink fade from her cheeks. "Pfft." She said to his last comment. "... Maybe a little." She grinned, throwing modesty out the window and replacing it with a joking tone. She shook her head with a small chuckle, dismissing the subject and leant up on her tip-toes to plant a kiss on Scorp's lips. "You had me worried during your game." She admitted, pulling back again. "I was surprised you didnt end up in the Hospital wing!" She said, with a playful roll of her eyes, Scorpius really was in the Hospital far too much for his own good. It was quite comical really. Their game had been a little scary though. Players flying everywhere. Taylor assumed the difference was Ravenclaw was versing Slytherin's and Taylor was against Hufflepuffs. It was quite a leap in the nature of each house.

Scorpius chuckled lightly at Taylor's joke but nodded his head playfully in agreement. He smiled softly when she kissed him and wanted to continue kissing her before she pulled away and said she had been worried over him in the game. He rolled his grey eyes playfully to tell her she shouldn't have been worrying before she said she was surprised he didn't end up in the Hospital Wing. Just then he bit his scarred lip and gave her a guilty grin as he said, "Well actually...I did. But I'm all better now, see! You didn't even notice," he pointed out quickly so she wouldn't worry. Nurse Kanti practically had his bed ready and made up for him, as if she knew that he was playing that day and therefore would end up there later on.

Taylor watched Scorpius' face carefully as he bit his lip. And at the 'well' she wanted to laugh, but also felt a pang of concern. He obviously detected what was coming and dismissed that worry instantly. "You are absolutely hopeless, you do know that right?" She asked, half seriously as she chuckled. "Im glad you werent seriously hurt though." She said with a fond smile, running a hand through his hair, like she was used to him doing himself so often. She recalled his hair being shorter when she had first met him. She had to admit Scorp's hair was a total weakness of hers. "Seen much of the others lately?" She asked casually, still running her fingers through the black hair. In truth she hadnt seen Sam or Toni in ages and the whole 'Jenna being back' situation had completely died down. Apart from talking briefly to Sam at the match. She wondered if the two of them were together yet. It wouldnt surprise Taylor, Toni had admitted her crush for Sam ages ago.

[Okay I've tried to reply to this topic like three times already and each time my internet decides to give up on me! <_< ]

Scorpius laughed lightly when Taylor said he was hopeless and merely shrugged with a 'What can you do?' look on his face. He didn't know what it was about him but he just attracted danger and got hurt, or perhaps the correct term was just 'accident-prone.' His mother always thought he was just 'being a boy' but his adventures at Hogwarts had made him realize that how much he got hurt wasn't exactly normal. Perhaps this was why he wanted to be a Healer...

Scorpius let those thoughts drift away from his mind as he refocused his attention on Taylor as she ran her fingers through his hair. He smiled in contentment and placed a soft kiss on her forehead before shaking his head sadly in response to her question. "Not really," he admitted, as if the shake of his head hadn't already stated that. "I've been trying to focus on my lessons more," he said with a playful eye roll. It was true he was trying to focus on his lessons and stay true to his promise to act more like the brainy Ravenclaw rather than the curious Ravenclaw, but trying was the key word. "Have you?" he asked her in response.

[I hate it when that happens! Sorry about the late reply for this too. Was away for the weekend and had no internet access. It was torture!
Oh and in-coming cheesy post! =)) ]

Taylor felt so at ease. After the rush of the game, being with Scorpius seemed to wash it all away and allow her to simply feel calm and relaxed. She grinned when he admitted to trying to focus on lessons. She would confess she hadnt been doing as well as she had last year. It was all very new and exciting last year, coming to Hogwarts for the first time and all that jazz, but now she found alot more on her plate and she was used to it and the inspiration wasnt as strong as it had been in her first year. It was a horrible way to view school, but it wasnt a top priority for her. She didnt think she would fail though. Well there was a chance she could fail History of Magic. Having Scorpius in that class didnt get any of her work done.

"Not really," She said with a hint of regret. She promised herself she would make more time for her best friends. "I wonder if Sam and Toni are finally together." She said casually, voicing her previous thoughts. It was extremely obvious they liked each other, Taylor didnt think it passed her boyfriends notice. Not with him and Sam being so close. Taylor moved closer to rest her head on Scorp's chest, stilling the hand in his hair and moving her arms to slip around his waist. On the subject of couples Taylor's mind slipped to her own relationship, in a few more months Taylor and Scorpius would have been together for a year. It seemed to go so fast, it still felt like they were just beginning to like each other. She realised she was getting mushy, but she didnt care. The arms around the Ravenclaw's waist squeezed slightly. "Almost a year for us." She said softly, not sure Scorpius would even hear it.

[Aw you know how we like our cheese! :D :lawlz: ]

Scorpius pursed his scarred lips in thought as Taylor too admitted she hadn't seen much of the group this year. He grinned and laughed playfully as she brought up Sam and Toni's obvious crush on each other and if either of them had finally gotten the guts to do something about it. Though that thought actually caused a trace of sadness to cross his face. Was the group seeing less of each other because they were splitting off into...couples? Well, Hoshi didn't have a partner really, but she had her own other group of friends, the Goth people or whatever they referred to them as. Scorpius looked down at Taylor and held her closer to him, reassuring himself that he wasn't neglecting his friends just for Taylor, he barely had time to hang out with her as well. Besides, I wanted to give Sam and Toni their alone time, so they can finally admit their feelings for each other! he thought to himself in amusement.

So lost in his thoughts, Scorpius almost didn't hear the quiet comment that came from Taylor, but upon comprehending her words, his heart skipped a beat, thinking she could probably feel it. The small smile that was on his face turned into one of pure happiness at the thought of he and Taylor surviving a year despite the 'Gossip Girls' attempts to tear them apart. Actually 'surviving' had such a negative connotation to it, as if he didn't think they could make it, but he knew they could, they were Tight, both literal and also in reference to the 'shipper' name the two heard through the halls occasionally. It felt like more than a year for Scorpius, since he had fallen for her the moment he met her at the beginning of his first year. "Yeah.." he breathed out softly, the tone of his voice portraying one of pure joy at that fact. He still remembered every memory shared with Taylor as if they had all happened last week.

"We'll have to celebrate!" he suddenly commented with comical enthusiasm, though his arms still wrapped comfortably around the waist of his girlfriend. He gave the thought of a celebration some more thought however, isn't that what couples did, celebrate an anniversary? A flutter of butterflies filled his stomach at the prospect of sharing many more anniversaries with Taylor. Their first year together had gone by wonderfully, nothing too major and even with all the public attempts at destroying them had kept them strong, he couldn't believe just last Valentine's he and Luna were breaking up! Clearly it was obvious who he was better suited with, and he loved it, and as if to show that he didn't regret any choice, he leaned down and kissed Taylor lightly.

Taylor looked up to meet Scorp's eyes as he pulled her closer. She rested her chin on his chest and thought about how every moment between the two felt like they were in a movie. The gossip girl's attempts had failed and even though they didnt talk about any of what had happened, it was like it didnt matter. They were just that strong. They fit together perfectly.

Taylor allowed a foolish grin to reach her face at Scorpius' reaction to her statement. She knew some guys were afraid of commitment, she had hoped he hadnt been freaked out, which is why she had said it so softly, but then Scorpius announced they should celebrate and Taylor let a giggle escape. Her green eyes sparkled as she ran the words over in her head. A year. It was a pretty impressive effort, but it felt so easy that Taylor knew it wouldnt be long before it was two. Perhaps it was wishful thinking, but maybe it wasnt. If they lasted through so many rumors that could quite easily have been truth, then why couldnt they make it longer? Taylor was about to ask Scorpius what he had in mind as a celebration, but his lips were on hers and Taylor concluded that she liked his idea better than her plan of discussion.

Taylor allowed her mind to slip for a few short moments, before she realised her legs were turning to jelly from the exhaustion of the previous game of Quidditch and the knowledge that she had Scorpius right in front of her with his lips on hers. She pulled away gently, but returned for a light peck before finally pulling away to look up at his face. "Indeed we will." She said with an almost cheeky grin. "But first, there is something else that we will have to celebrate." She said, her grin getting wider. "And that we be, when I kick your butt at the next Quidditch game." She said with a satisfied smile, as if that was something she had wanted to say for a long time.

Scorpius grinned into the kiss they shared before he felt Taylor pull away, smiling as she gave him a peck once more. He raised his eyebrows in interest as she began with 'but first'. As soon as she completed her sentence however, he released her gently as he began laughing, over-doing the gesture as he pretended to be doubled over in laughter. Afterward he stood up straight and said, "Ha!" with a roll of his grey eyes. He smirked in her direction as he looked at her with raised eyebrows. "I think you mean when Ravenclaw kicks some Gryffindor butt!" he corrected her with a playful mocking tone. "After all, we are eagles, we were meant to excel in the air," he added, before bursting out laughing at his own little comparison. He had just come up with it on the spot so it made him laugh.

Of course the Beater wanted his team to win the Quidditch cup, but he'd seen Gryffindor's game just moments ago and knew they were a good team, good opponents. He wouldn't be as disappointed if they lost to them because they seemed like a team worthy of losing to. IF they were to lose, that is. Still, in the end of it all, Quidditch was something fun for Scorpius and always would be, he didn't want his competitiveness to ruin his fun, and he knew he and all his friends, like Taylor, would be good sports through it all.

As Scorpius pulled back to start laughing she crossed her arms and returned his look with her eyebrows raised. She had a grin on her face and was only barely stopping herself from catching Scorp's contagious laughter and breaking out in her own. She couldnt stop a small giggle escape at his last comment. "Oh really?" She said, tilting her head to the side in a playful mocking way, her shoulders still shaking slightly in humor. "Well we are lions-" She said, walking around Scorpius and coming to stand behind his back. She slipped her arms around his waist from behind and placed her head on his shoulder so she could say her next line right in his ear. "-and we eat little birdies for breakfast." She said it in a whisper before pulling away and allowing her held in laughter to spill from her mouth.

It was funny, how no matter what team she played she would always have to verse a friend. Slytherin would be after the Ravenclaw game and Toni would be on that team. Just like Sam was on the Hufflepuff one and Scorpius was on Ravenclaw. It was awesome that they had all made it onto a team, but Taylor had to admit she was relieved she didnt play as Chaser or something. She didnt think having her boyfriend or bestfriend throw a bludger at her head would be much fun. She in return didnt think being a beater would be great if it meant she would have to do that. She would most likely freak out and end up getting hit herself instead of aiming at people she cared about. Even if it meant letting the team down and a trip to the hospital wing. Yeah, Seeker was the perfect position for her.

Scorpius smirked playfully in her direction as she said 'Oh really?' She began circling him, and Scorpius watched her with eyebrows raised, intrigued by what she would say and the way she was conducting herself around him. He felt her arms slip around his waist from behind and he grinned eagerly, but as soon as he heard her comment, he had to choke on his laugh. It was the manner in which she delivered the line, whispering it in his ear, that had caught him off guard, causing him to be hit with the insult a moment later than she intended. As soon as he figured it out though, he began laughing as he admitted, "That's clever!" with a bright grin on his face. "Too bad witty comments like that won't win a match for you," he was able to comeback with quickly, a mischievous smirk upon his scarred lips.

The Ravenclaw thought of his job out there on the field, to hit all bludgers towards any opponents and wondered if he'd have to face the dilemma if hitting one towards his own girlfriend. Would he? What would she do if he did? What would his teammates do if he didn't? It was a scary concept. "Man, I'm just glad none of us are Chasers," he said aloud to himself mostly as he shook his head softly. They were all lucky enough to have made their house teams of course, but also lucky that each of their positions didn't have intersect with each other. Scorpius, Beater, Sam, Beater, Taylor, Seeker, and Toni, Keeper. Aside from he and Sam, all those positions didn't have to run into each other if they could avoid it.

Taylor chuckled, walking to stand in front of Scorpius once more a bright grin on her face. "Oh, we'll just have to wait and see." She said in response to Scorp's comment. It didnt matter who won or lost really, Taylor loved quidditch either way. She stepped back slightly to lean on a large rock.

Scorp's words snapped her out of her Quidditch Position musing. "I was just thinking that!" She said honestly. "I dont know how you or Sam would manage if you had to aim a bludger at one of us." She said thoughtfully. "I couldnt do it." She added.
