Ben made his was into the half inhabited, Brightstone Village, as he had been doing every morning, he was not yet old enough to apparate so he had to deal with not being able to just yet, and he was meant to be at school, but since he wasn't he didn't have a bank account so he couldn't buy anything, not even his wand yet. He sat down on a table and looked around at all the school children that where wandering around the school, and thought about how easy it would be to sneak in with one of them and just pretend as if he went there and didn't mention it to anyone else. He could more then likely get away with it, but if he was found he would probably be extradited back to Australia and he wouldn't want that, he was happy here at least for the moment.
 
Lexi was just so normal today and didn't bother to asked someone to come with her to go at Brightstone even her best friend seems busy with her own life. Wearing her simple dress for this event, she went by herself at Brightstone. Exactly when she got there, she spotted a boy who she think is just the same age as her. But she shook her head slightly and went to continue walking going at Madam Malkins.
 
Alex saw a girl that looked like she was his age, he was feeling quite lonely and he thought he should try and make conversation with her. He made his way over to her slowly. " Um excuse me, when do you reckon it would be a good time to enroll for Hogwarts?" He asked hoping she wasn't like some of the Australian girls he knew, even though he was friends with almost every girl he knew.
 
While walking slowly Lexi stopped as she noticed the boy was walking toward her. She smiled fakely at the boy, the boy asked when is the good time to enroll at her school. "Um ... The school must owl you a letter saying you are accepted but if you are an eleven year old ..." Lexi trailed off looking up and down at the boy. "But I think your not an eleven year old to get a letter, it should be owl when you turned eleven." She told the boy and smiled weakly at him, "But you can transfer, the sorting isn't that long from now. first semester just ended and second semester will start ... I think 2 weeks from now. I shouldn't be long to wait." Lexi explained wanting to help the boy rather than shout at him for speaking to her.
 
" Thank you so much." Ben said with a large grin on his face. It was finally going to happen, but he was kind of stuck, he wasn't going to transfer from anywhere seeing as he was never at another magic school, unless he could from a normal school. " I'm Ben Connolly by the way." Ben said as he extended his hand out to the girl.
 
Lexi smiled, "Its my pleasure to help." she told the guy. It was then that the boy introduce himself as Ben Connolly and handed his hand. She took it and shake, "Lexi Rodriguez, nice meeting you." after the hand shake, she release his hand to her's. "So, your not from here .. Am I right?" Lexi asked while looking from her left to right.
 
Ben smiled at how nice she seemed, it wasn't every day you met a pretty girl like her who is nice. " It is very nice to meet you Lexi." He said with a smile, he couldn't wait till he could go to the school, seeing as he had no magic. " No I'm from Australia, I can tell your not from around here, you don't have the accent." He said in his accent.
 
"Oh, no I'm not from here. I'm from England." Lexi explained and bit her upper lip. This was getting better that Lexi can control her anger from people she doesn't like. "Whose with you here?" She asked not letting Ben to asked her, she was not that typical answering girl a question from newbies.
 
"No one I'm here all alone, I came over here because i wanted to start in the school and my father thought I was a idiot for wanting to do it." Ben said as he looked around at the crowds that where walking past, he noticed a few people walking past and staring, with there mouth almost on the ground, it was like they where shocked or something.
 
"Ohh..." Lexi slowly said and smiled weakly. "I guess your not a pureblood or mixed or half after all ... But that doesn't mean you can't enroll at Hogwarts." Still she was in the mood to make the guy feel better. "Where do you live in here? ... I guess in a hotel or at the leaky cauldron?" Lexi asked again.
 
" Yeah at the Leaky Cauldron." Ben lied, truth was he was living down at this little cave near the edge of the forest into Hogwarts. It was nice and Cozy there and he washed himself in the stream, and no one knew about it, ad he didn't really want people to notice he was sleeping down there, he was only fifteen after all.
 
Lexi became irritated the way people stare at them. "Maybe you want to have some butterbeer at the three broomsticks?" She offered him, so, for that she won't be irritated around the people whose looking at them. Lexi smiled at Ben, "Shall we?" Lexi asked him.

"Yeah ok that sounds great." Ben said as he pulled out what he had in his pocket which was a galleon. It was his last Galleon until tomorrow when he went out and began to busk again. He still wasn't aware of how much the money was worth around here, it was really strange for him. H e was used to Muggle money that he knew what it was worth, but in the wizarding world there where three types of coin and he just didn't understand. " Well lets go then."
