Caysi walked onto the cobblestone in the Harbour. She was extremely confused with the news that she had heard. The brunette had heard that Adele and Riley had split up, even though that had gotten married a few months back, and they have a child together. Caysi zipped up her zipper on the leather coat, it was a bit chilly at the moment. She walked over to the water and just stood there, but she knew what step to take next; she was going to text Riley to meet her here, and she would talk it over with him, to settle her confusion. She whipped out her phone, Hey Riley.. meet me at the habour pronto!. Caysi put her phone back in her purse, hoping that Riley had recieved the message.

Riley was sat down with a glass of water cupped in his hands. It had been cold water when it as first poured but he had been holding it for so long that it was warm now. He had simply been thinking things over. Adele had only been his second serious relationship and the mother of his first child. He didn't know if he should get back with her or not now. After all maybe this was pay back for his cheating days on her but he was sure she had created on him hen as well.
He sighed. His mind was boggled. He just looked down at the floor blankly. This was seriously messed up, he was not meant to be sad. This was Riley Smith, he was meant to be happy. He was meant to be in clubs getting drunk and getting a girl to come home with him. That was who he truly was. Standing up Riley was determined to have a good time. He walked to his room to get a shower and get changed. He wanted to look respectable when he went out.
Once finished Riley headed downstairs. He may just go to the Medley for a bit, he had good track history there. Just as he reached the door he heard his phone go off. his was strange as he never got a text or call. It was only really there for show or for any muggles that wanted to meet up with him. Walking to his phone he picked it up. A message from Caysi. He sighed as he read it. Looks like he wasn't going clubbing now. He placed his phone back down and apperated to the harbour. He walked along the side of the water until he saw Caysi. He then walked towards her and put on a smile. "Hi." He said trying to sound happy,he had still not mastered that much. "Whats up?" He asked her, curious of why she had text him.

Caysi sighed as she looked out onto the waters, it was so peaceful and calming, that she could sit there for the whole day and just watch the water go back and forth. Caysi was still confused with even her own life, not to mention any others, but that didn't matter, she would help Riley with anything that he needed, seeing that he was going through a rough time. She turned to see Riley coming. " Hey." She said with a smile. " Riley, what on earth happened." She knew he would know what she was talking about.

Riley sighed and stuck his hands in the pockets of his dark denim trousers. He knew exactly hat she as talking about and he didnt know if he wanted to open the wound again. He sniffed before talking. "Well she cheated on me. I was trying so hard to be loyal to her and she threw it in my face." He said to her gritting his teeth together because he hated her or what she had done and also to stop himself from crying. He had to keep this tough guy act up now because that was how everyone saw him and most of the time it was exactly who he was. "She took Lowan with her and she I living in the house which I bought just before she told me." He said shaking his head. He should have stayed living with Cyndi instead of moving out. At least he was back again now though.

Caysi nodded as she listened to Riley talk. She felt extremely sorry for him and he didn't deserve to be treated like that. She lowered her eyes as he spoke. " I'm so sorry to hear that Riley." She said as she walked closer to Riley. Caysi went closer and hugged Riley. " You don't deserve something like that, you deserve soo much better Riley." She said as she hugged Riley.

Riley shrugged his shoulders and hugged her back. "I don't know if I do though I mean you know how I used to be I used to cheated on her all he time and she said she was fine with it, she even caught me and played along." He said before swallowing. Maybe Adele did care, deep inside she did and maybe she had been waiting for the perfect moment to get her own back. "Im so confused right now. She was the one girl I could count on about everything. I told her everything. I thought we were made for each other." He brought his hands to his face. He hated Adele so much after what she had done. But he couldnt ever get rid of her like he had done with past girl friends. She was the mother of his son, they were bound together through another human.

Caysi nodded, " I know how that feels." She said shrugging her shoulders, now was not the time to be talking about her. " You both looked so good together up at that altar, I can't believe this happened." The brunette shooked her head. She felt superiorly sorry for one of her best friends, of course she would consider Riley one of her good friends, seeing as he had helped her with so much when she was in need. " What are you doing now?" She asked, meaning about everything going on in his life now.

Riley nodded but didn't say anything. He knew some of Caysi's past boy friends had cheated on her. Jason had slept with his own girlfriend at one point but that was all forgotten now, well it was on his art anyway Ana was no longer a part of Riley's life ad she never would be again. "Yeah but you know what the say, looks can be decieving." He sai with a sigh. He too had thought that Adele had been the oe but obviously he had mad a mistake. "Beats me. I have moved back in with Cyndi and thats about as far as iv though for now." He said with a shrug. "I guess my next step is seeing whts going to happen with Lowan." He said biting his lower lip.

Caysi sighed as she looked over at the Harbor, watching the waves crashing back and forth. " You know you can tell me anything." Caysi pointed out. There were so many things on her mind at the moment, Riley was one of them. " Riley, your another friend that stuck with me when the times were tough, and I'm going to stick with you no matter what." She said giving a little smile to him.

Riley followed her gaze over the harbour. He could see why she liked it here. It would have made him feel relaxed but he wasn't anxious or anything, just heart broken. No amount of water would fix that. He nodded at her next comment. "I know I can. There just isn't much to say really."He sad with a sigh, linking his hands together. "Well friends last longer and besides I like you, im no about to go and desert you when the going gets tough. What kind of guy would that make me." He said forcing a slight laugh. "But on the subject of talking I could really use a drink." He said standing up strait. "On me though yeah." He said to Her with slight mile, that was all that he could muster up right now.

Caysi smiled as she looked over at Riley, " I know, I just wanted you to know that you could trust me." Caysi nodded. She'd know that Riley would confide in her, she really did have feelings for him. " Of course, this girl would love to join you." Caysi smiled. " Then after desert because... we all love ice cream." Caysi laughed as she walked along the path with Riley. " If you ever need a place to stay, come knock on my door." Caysi nodded as she looked over at Riley.

Riley smiled at Caysi. "Thanks Cays." He said nudging her side lightly. He was happy to have a fiend like her. There were few people who were his close friends and who tuck with him through think and thin. He chuckled slightly. "Well that's true. Everyone loves ice cream." He said linking his arm with her. "Well lets go find a decent place to get a drink and ice cram." He said to her as he walked by her side. He wondered how things were with her and Jason. He had spoken to Jay the other week an he had said hey had met but he didn't stay on the topic for long. "So I hear you have a baby now. Whats she called?" He asked her.

Caysi smiled as she listened to Riley, he'd seem to have cheered up a bit. There were lots of people in the world, but when it comes down to the nitty gritty, you really find out who your true friends are, she had a feeling that Riley would always be there for her. " Oh, her names April." Caysi laughed. " She's a bundle of joy, but she can be a pain." She sighed as she looked up at Riley. She hadn't noticed before, but he was quite good looking, not that she was going to say that a loud.

Riley nodded and smiled. He was happy for the company, like his cousin Mark, he was never as sad as when he would be if he was alone with his thoughts. He got distracted with someone else. "April, thats a pretty name. Most babies can be a pain at times but its how we handle is what counts really." He said breathing in deeply as he reached a small cafe. He pulled open the door and waited for Caysi to enter. "Ladies first." He said with a smile. As sad as Riley was feeling right now and despite everything that had happened, he still had his manners and he was still a gentleman.

Caysi smiled, " Now she's just at the stage where she needs everyone to see her." The brunette laughed as they reached the cafe. " Thank you Riley." Caysi said as she walked through into the cafe. It was a cute small cafe with a few people in it. There was a few booths open, but she started to walk to one that had a window. " Hope this ones ok for you." She chuckled to Riley.

Riley laughed out loud. He knew exactly what Caysi was talking about, Lowan had gone through the same thing. He was now t the stage where he was starting to find his feet. Holding on to anything he could to try and get his balance, it was just when he held the wrong thing and cried when it fell over. "Yeah I know what your talking about don't you worry. Its when they find their feet that when your in trouble." He said following her in to the cafe and towards a Booth. He didn't particularly mind where they sat so he shook his head at her question. "Im fine with where ever you sit." He said letting out a sad sigh which he couldn't keep in, mainly because he wasn't aware he did it until after. "Im sorry Cays, I really shouldn't be acting all upset like this. She really isn't worth it. Il try ad stop ok, I don't want to ruin your day." He said smiling slightly at her.

Caysi laughed at Riley. " Yeah, I'm looking forward to that, and the teething stage." The brunette smiled as she took her leather jacket off. She turned her head when Riley sighed, she could tell that he was in pain. " Riley, it's ok, honestly." She said giving a big grin. " I know what your going through and I'm here to help, that's what friends are for." Caysi said rubbing his shoulder.

Chuckle Riley nodded. "Yeah Lowan has started that too. Blimey its like a constant flow of saliva from his mouth no an hen ever he bites anything its just cry cry cry." He said shaking his head. He did love his son but he could be such a pain at times. "Im glad im at the castle a lot, its his mum that has to put up with it more than me." He said with a slight smile, he made sure not to say her name that time. Caysi's affectionate side made Riley smile softly at her, he did know that she knew what he was going through and he was grateful that she did. "I know I know but I need to move on as quick as possible, there is no point crying about the past." He said taking a deep breath and exhaling heavily. "So what are you having?" He asked her sitting down.

Caysi sighed, rubbing her temples, "I'm not looking forward to that at all, going to buy out the baby store full off their bibs and face towels." The brunette laughed as she sat down. " I'm always there for you, no matter what." She said, her green eyes sparkling. " Just an espresso probably, that still won't give me as much energy as April has." Caysi laughed.

Riley chuckled as he listened to her talk. He chuckled for two reasons. One being what she had said as genially funny and the second was because his boyish immaturity kicked in for a second. "That s a funny word. Bib." he said quietly with a laugh. "Anyway back to adult land. I know you always there for me." He said placing his hand on top of hers. "And im glad to have you as a friend." he said smiling at her then taking his hand away from hers and stood up. "I don't think anyone could have as much energy as babies do." he said as he walked to the counter to order two espresso's. He waited as they were prepared then paid the man and walked back to his table an handed Caysi her drink. "There you go." he said sitting down again.

Caysi laughed, " Yes quite an odd word." She said thinking it over in her head. It was different to have a mans hands on hers, it felt different, since it was a long time that she'd even been around with a guy. But Riley was different, he was an amazing friend. " I know that you'll be there for me too." She said giving a slight smile before he walked off. " Thank you Riley." She said as he returned. " So did I surprise you with my text today?" She gave a slight smile, before taking a sip of her espresso.

Riley smiled at her words. He though it was a little strange how their conversation had gone from his relationship problems to baby bibs. At least it was a more fun topic to be talking about. He brought his drink to his lips as Caysi spoke. Taking a sip then placing it back down deciding it was too hot to drink yet. He nodded quickly. "Yeah you did a little actually. I never use my phone, its only there for my muggle contacts to talk to me when they really need to." He said with a smile. He looked up from his drink and caught her gaze. He didnt know if her green eyes matched her dark hair, never the less he still found her pretty. "So what caused the change of hair colour then?" He asked her curiously.

Caysi laughed at Riley, " That was the only way I could get you, or just show up at the doorstep, but testing was the way to go for me." The brunette nodded as she took another sip of her espresso. " I just thought that it would be something new, but I'm still used to my blonde hair. " She smiled as she looked at Riley. " How's it being a professor?" Caysi asked curiosly. She was just offered her dads company to take over in a few months, since Seamus was getting older.

Riley chuckle and nodded at her comment. She had a point, he could be hard to get a hold of sometimes but he was just so busy at the moment with work. He did after all have three jobs, mainly because he wante to be a good role model for his son but he wasnt sure if that was going to happen when he wasnt sure how he was going to keep it up. "Suppose thats a pretty strong case. I was heading out anyway so you wouldnt have had any luck just turning up. But im glad you wanted to meet up other wise it would have been some club." He said with a chuckle. He sounded like he was turning into his old self again. "Well you look good with brown hair." He said to her with a smile on his face as he listened to her ask him a question which he replied to with a shrug. "Its good, a lot of work but it pays well and it can be fun. Cyndi is my co-worker so we can see each other more and not to mention all the hottie female Professors there." He said with a laugh. Of course there were nice looking staff members there but he wasnt too interested in them right now, if he had resisted a veela then he copuld resist anyone. "How is the shop?" He asked her [/small]

The brunette laughed at Riley. " Oh Riley Smith would've been clubbing all night." She teased at him. " Good thing I texted you." Caysi added. She would've never guessed that Riley would've gone clubbing. Caysi laughed at her friend, he was now sounding like his cheery self. " Well if theres cute male teachers, maybe I should join." Caysi smiled. " The shop's good, but I'm barely there, I took over my fathers company so that's a work load and a half." The brunette sighed.
