Austiin's jaw fell open. He had never been so offended in his life, well, that was a lie. He had never been so offended today than by what Jinxx said about Fiji. Fiji was beautiful, near-perfect. All it needed was less children, less people and better drinking laws - it'd be set. He'd have to move there permanently. He folded his arms across his chest stubborn. "Jinxx, don't ever say that." Austiin shook his head. "I'll be the first to put my hand up against the creation of sand - but beaches are great. Beaches are made of sand and for the sake of Merlin, you lived in Egypt! I'm not an expert or anything, but I'm pretty sure they've got a hell of a lot of sand over there." How could a friend of his not want to come to Fiji? It was wrong - unnatural. Fiji was the perfect place to take someone if they were made at you. He dragged Cameron there and they were still together, even after he cheated on him and threw him out of his house. Cameron still came back. Fiji was virtually a magical island when it came to romance. "Come on, Fiji's a great place, and I know that Abby hates Fiji, but once she's there she'd be hooked. They've got these beautiful pineapples - straight from the tree. Freshly cut. The best tasting thing ever, better than pumpkin pasties and the whole bit." He was rather determined to make hi friend go, even if he had to forcibly apparate him there. If there was something Jinxx needed to do, it was unwind. He looked about ready to snap and go bonkers - in Austiin's house. He loved his house. Let the beaches of Fiji deal with Jinxx, not his new carpet.
In true Jinxx form, he simply nodded instead of replying like the average person. He was lucky Austiin actually looked people in the eyes when they spoke, otherwise they'd have major communicative issues. He sighed. "Look, you're welcome to stay the night and think this entire thing over, or come with me to Fiji - have fun and be better prepared to face Abby. You've got to talk to her, I can only make sarcastic quips for so long, my curly-haired friend. I'm running out of stuff here." He conjured a warm mug of black coffee and took a sip. "As I said. The more you communicate, the better it will get. Even if that means screaming at each other, and we all know Abby will certainly throw things, it makes things better. Taking a break and having an argument are so much different to calling it quits forever. Don't be worried with putting your foot down and deciding that you don't want to do something. She'll wisen up and agree with you - or you will suddenly decide you want to be a father again." He shrugged. "Just give yourself a chance. Please."
