Shaylah walked along Brightstone with a frown on her face and her arms across her chest. She didn't want to see anyone and she didn't want to talk to anyone. She was only here because it meant she could get away from the school for once. It was boring her to death. The only reason she hadn't run away was because she wanted revenge for her father and that required knowledge of magic. A smirk grew across her face when she spotted someone she recognised. "Well, look who we have here." She laughed as she approached her entertainment for the day.

Leslie was meant to be meeting her parents but she was early. She had nothing else to do. Her dad had managed to get time off work so he could come and see her. She was in a good mood because of this but her mood soon changed. She spotted her sister's ex-best friend up ahead and Shaylah was walking straight for Leslie. She gulped and stood still. She had no idea what to do. There was no one here to help her and this girl was ten times worse than Steph. "What do you want Shaylah?!" Her voice was slightly shaky compared to what it had been only seconds before.

Shaylah shoved Leslie against the wall and pinned her shoulders there. "Nobody can get me what I want." She whispered it in Leslie's ear but her voice was strong and powerful regardless. She kneed Leslie in the stomach and watched her fall to the floor before kicking her chest twice and pulling her head up by her hair. "You're not even trying to fight back, you wimp." Shaylah was small but she had strength enough to over-power Leslie.

Leslie heard something snap in her chest. More than heard it; she felt it. Pain shot through her ribs and was made worse when Shaylah pulled her up. She had one arm clutching her chest and the other hand on her head where her hair was being pulled. "No. Shaylah. Please, stop." The pain was unbearable. Tears fell down her cheeks as she tried to get her hair free from Shaylah's grip.

Shaylah laughed. "You're pathetic. It must run in the family." By this, Shaylah was referring to Steph. She didn't know what she had ever seen in that girl. She held Leslie's hair with one hand and punched her square in the face with the other. She continued to laugh as she watched blood pour out of Leslie's nose and down the side of her face. "Go on. Cry." She grinned evily as she turned Leslie's head so she was forced to look at her.

Markov was walking around town, he had turned up with Ivy and really didn't feel like shopping with her. As he walked he saw a familiar face. He shook his head as he saw that she was fighting and walked up behind her. He winked at the girl in pain and quickly poked Shaylah where he knew her weak points were and waited for her to drop the girl. He knew Shaylah well and could anticipate her next mood.

"Now now Kittn, put away those claws." Markov made sure to grab her from behind as he spoke, so she wouldn't lash out at him. "You may leave small girl before this small girl gets me in the nuts." When she didn't move he rolled his eyes. "Run." He had to dodge as he spoke as Shays' legs began to kick.

Markov dropped her and moved out of her hitting range. "Oi, I come bearing good news." He grinned, knowing she would act like it was good news but really, deep down, she'll be dissapointed. He knew 'his little kitten' well.

Shaylah spun round when she heard a familiar voice. Most people would have been hurt because of doing what Markov was doing to her but she had a soft spot for him. She didn't want to hurt him as much as she did most other people. When he grabbed her. She started kicking out. One thing she didn't like was other people picking her up. "Markov!! Put me down!!" She wasn't a very trusting person and there had only ever been one person she had trusted to lift her off the ground. When he put her down, she crossed her arms and watched Leslie run away. "This news better be good. You've just lost me my entertainment." She didn't want to be angry at him. She looked up at him scowling but inside she was melting.

Markov smiled and shook his head. "Now now kitty, calws away before I tell you." He waited for her to cave before grinning. "Me dad just said your mum changed 'er mind about yer dads' choice. We aint engaged no more." He knew how she would take it. She would pretend it was great but would wonder why she felt dissapointed. The 'kitten' wasn't as complicated as she thought.

Shaylah waited for him to split the news. She was completely shocked on the inside but on the outside she managed-only just-to look unchanged. "Cool. Whatever." She shrugged. If that's all, I want to find a new target seeing as you got rid of my last one." She started walking away from him.

Markov smirked as she did exactly as he assumed she would. He also knew what would bring her back. "Alright, I'll just go find Ivy then." He knew she wanted to see Ivana loads, they were best friends after all. "Don't worry, I'll leave out your new, hobby let's call it." They both knew Ivana would be very upset with Shaylah bullying people. Ivana got bullied a lot, she'd almost hate Shaylah for this.

Shaylah turned around and ran back to him. "Oh my god. Is she here?? Where is she??" It had been ages since Shaylah had seen Ivy and she couldn't wait. "And yeah, I think that would be a good idea. I don't think she'd be very pleased with it." Shaylah smiled. Her mood had suddenly been lifted.

Markov grinned, he knew she would respond. "Now now kitty, you know me better than that. Since when do i give in easily?" He laughed and slung his arm over her shoulder. "So, what have you got to convince me to take you to Ivy And forget your fighting?" He was good at black mail, and it was fun. He, personally, thought that it was awesome she could fight other people when she wanted.

Shaylah's heart skipped a beat when he put his arm over her shoulder but she didn't show it in her face. Instead, she rolled her eyes. Then a grin grew across her face. She had one idea of how to make him forget about the fight and tell her where Ivy was. She turned around and kissed him. When she pulled away she smiled. "Come one. Split. Where is she??"

Markov smirked as she pulled away. "That settles where she is but, you see kitten, I still haven't forgotten your bullying." This was one of the few moments where he didn't know what she would do. She would either kiss him again, knut him or roll her eyes. Something along those lines anyway. She was a fiesty little kitten.

Shaylah rolled her eyes then leaned in and kissed him again. This time longer and deeper. "That better work or you're going to feel pain in your 'manly parts." Shaylah would have been happy to kiss him again but there was no way she was about to tell him that. Nobody knew she liked him-well...nobody she knew of anyway.

Markov grinned. "Go on then, I'll give you a piggy back or you aint going though." He loved watching her when she got picked up. He whispered, just quietly enough for her to hear but not know what he said. "You so want me."

Shaylah frowned. "That's not fair. You know I hate that." She hit his chest but not hard enough to hurt him. "I don't know how you expect me to hear you. Hello, we're in the middle of Brightstone. Try speaking up Markov." She looked up at him, starting to get annoyed. She always found boys to be a waste of time. That's why she didn't understand why she liked him so much.

Markov turnned with a smirk on his face and walked towards Shaylah until she was trapped against a wall. "I said, You. So. Want. Me." He smirked at her, waiting for her to deny the obvious truth. She was to proud to admit it that easily.

Shaylah shook her head. "I so don't Markov. You just love yourself so much that you think everyone else loves you too." She put her hand on her hip. "Now move before I hurt you and you know I will."

Markov simply laughed. "Oh come on, you know as well as I do that I would've settled for you blackmailing me. But you just had to kiss me. Twice no less." He laughed and started to walk away. The durmstrang bo knew perfectly well she wouldn't let him go after that.

Shaylah realised she'd been found out. There was no point in hiding it now. She ran after him, wrapped her arms round his neck and kissed him again. This time it had no reason behind it. She just wanted to. She had always hidden the fact that she liked him. Now she had no reason to. He already knew. "How long have you known."

Markov looked smug when she pulled away. "How long? Since forever. Come on, we grew up together, I know you. Duh." He llaughed and peeled her off. "So, you want to see my sister still or do you love me just too much to let me go kitty kat?" It was a habit to call her a cat or a kitten or a kitty, he always had and always would.

"Of course I want to see her." She shook her head. "Why the hell wouldn't I want to see my best friend??" She smiled up at him. "Which way is she??" Then she had a thought. "Are we going to tell her about this or is it going to be our little secret??"

Markov smirked and walked in the direction Ivy went. It was time for a little teasing. "Tell her about what exactly?" He really knew how to get under Shaylah's nerves better than anyone else. "What's to tell? You just admitted something we all knew long before even you did." He had to hold in laughter as he continued walking.

Shaylah groaned. "Don't annoy me. My temper is ice thin and I will hurt you if you don't stop it." She walked with him in the direction he was going. "It's a simple yes or no answer. No debating, no teasing, no being a pain in the butt." She carried on walking but was watching him, not the path in front of her.
