Spending her time in the Dungeons had become a common Practice for the young fourth year Gryffindor, she had felt as if she had grown up faster than her friends and by doing so had accidentally pushed herself out of her friend group, being too curious too quickly so instead of enjoying the sun outside she hung around in the dungeons just hopping between the cracks on the floor, talking to the house elves, seeing how many difficult spells she could cast correctly or perfect, it was far better than getting into awkward conversations with her old friends or hanging out in the Gryffindor Common room.

Juliette had her wand in her hand but wasn't using it to cast spells, she was standing close to the corner trying to see if she could find an interesting party trick by flipping her wand around between her fingers or a fancy way to draw her wand which would make the opponent quiver in fear at her skills, but the best she could do was roll it between her fingers and toss it around in the air. Juliette brushed her long chestnut brown hair out of her face and tried to pass her wand under her leg and caught it successfully on the first go before passing it around her back and taking a step forward as an attack, wand at the ready and one hand up in the air behind her for stability, shaking her head she shook out her position and walked around in a circle before trying it again but throwing the wand along the floor instead, she huffed loudly in frustration and stomped over towards where it had landed and squinted in the dark drying to make out where it had gone.

Crouching down her hair fell over her face and she bumped the wand with her hand pushing it further away 'You Stupid stick get back here' she cursed to herself crawling over to it getting her stockings dirty before grasping the wand in her small hand and standing up dusting her knees off, she was lucky an elf wasn't hiding and had picked it up.

As David walked down the hallways in the dungeons below Hogwarts, he thought for the first time about the somewhat sad fact that it was his last year at HNZ. While not overly attached to this place, he was used to walking the halls, going from class to class. He liked the dungeons because, well as a Slytherin they were rather conveniently placed, but aside from that they were quiet most of the time. He enjoyed the quiet, it helped him concentrate on writing. However, natural light also helped with that. He loved when he got the time in the spring months to go outside, sit down and write a good poem. Unfortunately, now it was winter. And he valued the warmth of the inside.

Today, all was quiet in the dungeons. Well almost. As he walked down the halls, he heard a faint sound. It was relatively high pitched and feminine. Not many people hung out in the dungeons, so he figured it as an elf, regardless he decided to go and investigate the noise. Eventually after wandering through the halls, he came across a girl. She seemed to be relatively athletic, and he guessed that she was a fourth or fifth year. It was hard to tell sometimes, especially in the dark. He cleared his throat lightly and practically whispered, "Hey"

A voice softly echoed in front of her and she looked up to see a boy looking at her, she smiled, his bright eyes felt as if they were staring right through her but she didn't feel threatened, something about him was gentle. 'Hello?' she said with a hint of caution to her voice, he may not seem threatening but the only students who really came down to the dungeons were Slytherin's and they're favourite prey were Gryffindors so she wasn't sure if she needed to locate the best way to get out of the dungeons just in case.

Juliette pocketed her wand for two reasons, one was she didn't want to seem threatening and two if she didn't seem like a threat she could leave without a hex if that's what the boy wanted to do. Taking a daring step forward into the light, letting the light illuminate her golden hair, it was never warm in the dungeons and it was never bright, but in some places there was enough light to make out faces and shapes, Thankfully otherwise she would walk into the walls a lot. The fourth year extended her hand formally 'I'm Juliette, Juliette DiSnow' she said with Confidence but she quickly followed it with 'Please don't jinx or hex me' with a half smile, she couldn't help herself, she instantly wanted to know the situation and make sure she was in control of it, or the best way away from it. Looking down at her hand and realizing it was slightly grubby she pulled it back and wiped it on her skirt before extending it again 'Sorry' she blushed.
