Closed Watching the birds fly

Around this time, Cyrus regretted not buying an owl for a pet. Using the school birds embarrassed him because more often than not, he was a victim to their pecking. He didn’t own a bird so it wasn’t like he had treats lying around his dorm! Cyrus had a letter in his hand to go to his dad, asking for some advice and also telling him what house he was sorted into. He was certain that his dad would be thrilled no matter what. His grandmother and aunt were Hufflepuffs too, so it definitely ran in the family, just not his parents. Cyrus found an owl that seemed docile, tied a letter around its legs and sent it off. He let out a huge sigh and ascended into the tallest of the towers to watch the bird fly off into the distance.
