Sam was sick of doing nothing. Well he thought about Jenna a lot but he didn't do much other than that. He lay on his bed hoping some one would ask him to go somewhere or to shake him or give a good thump. But they hadn't. He'd have to do something himself.

He got up from his bed and slipped into his converse, where he'd go he didn't know but anywhere was better than moping in his dorm. He left the Hufflepuff common room and walked down the corridor. He kept walking passing by a few students but not many, he blanked a lot of them not really caring if he knew them or not.

Sam found himself on the second floor corridor which was empty thankfully. He was fed up of walking even though he was only walking for a little bit. He sat on the last stone step and rested his chin in his hand, he could expect this day to be a long one.

^^
Lame.

Joceline had been doing nothing lately, and was tired of it. She had been pining over Thomas, and loathing Autumn, but other than that she was alone, and lonely. So she decided that she would leave her dorm room, and take a stroll around the castle, in hopes to make a new friend, she was so lonely she probably wouldn't mind another enemy.

So in her off-white dress and long black cardigen she stepped out of the dungeons, and began strolling on above levels, when she reached the second level she decided that she would just stay on it and see what happened.

Then she came across another flight of stairs, and she sighed. Why did I wear these shoes today? she asked herself with a roll of her eyes as she continued walking on. As she reached the last few steps she saw a boy she recognized from one of her classes, but didn't know the name of. "Hi there," she chirped, in her warmest and happiest tone she could bring when she felt so down. "Mind if I join you?" she asked gently, looking down at him, her big doe eyes shining down at the attractive boy she didn't know the name of.

Sam looked up as he heard a girl's voice directed to him. He hadn't even heard her footsteps. Sam nodded, "Sure, help yourself." He indicated the spot on the step next to him. He realised he had recognised the girl, she was a Slytherin who was in his Herbology class. Though for some reason he never caught her name.

He barely even knew the names of some of the girls in the Hufflepuff house, never mind Slytherin. There just seemed to be so many of them and he wasn't one for names. He didn't know how he would ask for name without sounding dumb so instead introduced himself and hoped that she didn't know who he was either. "I'm Sam." he said to her smiling.

Joceline smiled politely at the boy as he said that she could sit down beside him, she did so gracefully and nodded as he introduced himself as Sam. "Lovely to meet you Sam," she said, her French accent letting her words roll of her tounge gently. "I'm Joceline," she introduced, not bothering to put her hand out for a hand shake because that would be at an awkward angle.

Joceline laced her fingers together and rested them on her knees gently. Curse me being so shy, she thought. She was unable to think of something to say, but perhaps Sam would come up with something to speak about.

lame ^^

Joceline. Sam would make sure to remember that name. "Its great to meet you too." he said in return to her. He was never to good when it came to meeting someone first off. Especially when he was annoyed. "So are you as bored as I am?" he asked her casually. It was okay to be bored sometimes to be bored for weeks solid, it was fustrating. He couldn't bring himself to study or even fly on his broom which was really strange for him as any opportunity to get on his broom he would.

"So are you as bored as I am?"

Joceline chortled and nodded her head once. "I think that I'm more bored then you are, but to each his own," she said warmly. She was more lonely then bored, but loneliness really did lead to boredom in her case and she was really, really lonely. "So would you like to do something, not so boring?" she asked brightly.

"You can't be more bored than I am. Believe me!" He laughed. Though when she asked if he wanted to do something not so boring, he nodded without even thinking. He didn't even know this girl and already agreed to do something with her. What if he didn't get along with her? Well she seems pretty nice, He thought. "Yeah okay. Anything in mind?" he asked.

Joceline rolled her eyes playfully at Sam when he said that she couldn't be more bored then he. "As long as it doesn't involve heights or flying I'm game," she said before rolling her eyes at herself. Why did I feel the need to say that? she asked herself. "Do you have any ideas or preferences?" she asked lightheartedly.

"No way! You don't like flying?!" He asked, shocked. He really didn't think before he took action today. "Sorry..." he apoligised quietly, "That was a little out of order." He added sheepishly. "Quidditch is like all I do..but something different is needed." He forced a smile on his face. He was making such a goof of himself today.
