Walking Down The Street

Finding himself with nothing better to do, once again, Mark wandered to Brightstone Village, thinking he'd go have a drink, maybe pick up some candy for Clara...or maybe run in to that intriguing nymph of a girl, Larissa. He was appalled that he was even thinking about her, but she was quite an interesting character. So in awe of the Dark Arts, the Veela blood...the way she'd simply kissed him, even. It was all very confusing, but confusing in a good way. Mark supposed, anyway.

Humming to himself, Mark wrapped his fairly light jacket around him - it was a windy day, but not too cold - as he walked fairly aimlessly (for someone who usually had a good sense of what he was doing and where he was going) down the street, hoping the world would throw him something exciting sometime soon. Boredom didn't suit the twenty-eight year old man.

As she walked through Brightstone village, Larissa could think of no-one but Mark.
He had been on her mind since the day they had met, she had been so distracted in lessons thinking about him, so pleasant to others because she was in too much of a dream to care about beating up mudbloods or general idiotic Hufflepuffs.
Larissa tugged her long purple coat about her slender body as the wind bit at her like a wild animal.
She had not been paying attention to where she was walking, too much in her head, thinking about Mark when her mind suddenly focussed.
She stood still and looked to the man who had been on her mind for days now. And she smiled.

Larissa, who was wearing some heeled leather boots, walked with her hips- though they were almost non-existent- swaying towards Mark.
"So you're back again," she said, standing behind him, arms folded, a half smile on her face.
"I was beginning to think you'd found someone else."

It was a few moments before Larissa realized what she had said and she wished she could slap herself without looking insane.
