Staring outside the window, the world have never seemed so pathetic in Daniel's eyes. How do people manage to be so happy when in fact there are so many problems surrounding them? The world should stop turning for every turn it makes more problems are created.

Hogwarts is a place that Daniel never really expected to go."Nothing is great about this place, no school is ever great" Daniel kept on saying in his mind.He had been home schooled for several years now why would his parents change their minds and why did they decide to put him on another torture chamber? It has been years since Daniel's parents decided to send him to an actual school in the muggle world why did they suddenly send him to a school in the magical world?Daniel finally found an answer to his question.Once he had been sent to a reform school for being accused of several acts which he knows he did not do.Although at first look, no one could really tell that he came from a reform school.He had this charm that can cover all the weary trouble that he had gone through.His eyes were gorgeous and his blonde hair reflects the light.

"This place may help me to turn away from the past help me find a new beginning" Daniel realized but when his memories go back, deeper anger consumed him. How he wished that people have known him before accusing him of such unacceptable acts? It was already bad enough that he lost the great love of his life and the bestfriend he had.

Daniel looked up in the sky and imagined it to turn black where the clouds would cover the sun. He also imagined that all the people who destroyed his life would all be destroyed and for the others, he wanted to gain their respect just like it used to. Too bad it only happens in imaginations.
 
Sapphire was scared there was no denying that. She didn't like Bleak Street because it reminded her too much of home. Thinking of her home she fixed the black ribbon around her neck. Under it was a mark that she would never show anyone even if she grew to be a hundred. She clutched the bag in front of her as she looked for the shop that she was meant to find. Sapphire didn't want to find a shop in Bleak Street, she didn't want to be here at all. She wanted to be in her room with her books. There she could pretend that none of this was happening. That or she wanted to be with Oscar. He was such a good friend to her to her that it was only natural to Sapphire to want to spend time with him.

Sapphire wanted to do a lot of things but her mind kept returning to her home and what would happen if she didn't go back with the goods that she was sent to get. She really didn't want to see Phobos again. She had to get what she was sent for but that didn't mean that she had to go home too soon. Sapphire saw a boy that didn't seem like the others. The eleven year old girl looked at the blond man and tilted her head. There was no reason for her even look like this on a stranger. Then again there was nothing a stranger could do to her that she hadn't already gone through in Bella-Donna manor.
 
The whole world will never be the same for Daniel.His heart was already filled with anger. So much anger that he did not ever think that would consume him but inside those anger there was also pity, self-pity and pity for this pathetic world.He was still looking on the sky still imagining it to turn black.

He knew that a girl looked at him but he did not really mind."This girl will never know the things I have gone through" Daniel thought.The things that he have gone through will never be known to anybody except himself.After the accident and the reform school, Daniel already learned that nothing in this world is true and people who are true will always be gone and they will leave a scar that will stay inevitable to the hearts of many.Flashbacks of his past came rushing to his mind just like a movie rolling.Unless he could change everything that had happened to him, nothing will make Daniel's world a good place.

The bleak street may seem a very dark place but nothing is darker than the place where Daniel's heart lies.This time makes being dead a lot better
 
Sapphire knew that the boy noticed her. He didn't move because of it. This made her somewhat happy. It meant that he didn't think she was strange. Or just not yet. She could also tell that he was sad. Why are you upset? She asked with her hands. There was a part of Sapphire that told her that the boy could very well no know sign language but that was the thing about the language she spoke. It was not about what you said it was about getting your point across and Sapphire could always get her point across one way or another. She had to be that way seeing as she could no longer use her voice.

What happened to her voice was something else that she would never share. The last time she had uttered a scream. Sapphire was silent now or rather she would like to think that she was made of silence now. As Sapphire looked at the boy in she had attempted to talk to she could tell that he had his own deep running scars. She knew this fact though. Anyone that had not grown up in Bella-Donna manor should be greatful. She couldn’t say this though. She could never say because of her voice and the punishment that would come with it. The punishment was what kept Sapphire toeing the line. She didn’t want to get on Mother’s bad side.
 
Despair and sadness still covers Daniel's heart. Darkness in everything still lies and no one can ever change that. Seeing the light for Daniel will never be possible again.Maybe that was the thing that brought him to the filthy bleak street. It was never Daniel's intention to make his life a dark place for anyone who befriended him but what can he do? He's already living in a world of despair.Just like a dark abyss that no one can see any sign of light. His heart had acquired the best but why did it all have to be gone so soon?

While Daniel was living his life's despair he noticed that the girl who was looking at him was still there.The girl's hand gestures caught his attention.Daniel never really learned hand signs because he never wants to express himself in all other means of communication and besides,no one would understand him.As the girl was doing her hand gestures, he noticed that her eyes tell something.It was like a story wanting to explode.A secret that will never be revealed just like him.The girl was not like anyone she was different.Her heart seems like its also full of fear and anger.Daniel have never spoken to anyone since he got sent to this pathetic place.

Daniel's eyes stared and stayed on the girl's eyes. He wanted to figure her out though he couldn't.Knowing that he could not trace the girl in any way he could, he faced the other way again.He sat down on a space on the bleak street and memories started rolling again.
 
Sapphire could tell now that he didn't know sign language so she would have to think of another way of telling him what she meant. He cought her eyes for only the shortest moment in time but it seemed to last longer. Her crystaline blue eyes where like a two way mirrors most of the time. She could see out but not many could stand to see within. The boy in front of her had not only looked but he seemed to have some of the same pain in his. He sat down afterwards, looking away. Sapphire didn't know why but she could not leave the boy alone. She knew what it was like to be alone. Truly alone. Phobos had made it his job to find out what made Sapphire shiver and use it against her. Because of it there where times where all she could do was cry.

Sapphire didn't want or need to cry now. She got on her knees, not caring that her white stalkings where going to get dirty on the dirty streets and crawled forward. She placed a hand under his chin and made the boy look at her. Her eyes read very clearly. Don't be sad. Why she cared she didn't know. Sapphire didn't have to. Sapphire could have turned out like Jade and Jasper viscios and cruel or like Ruby and talked in riddles. She could have even become Zeal and split herself in half so that there was atleast one side of her that thought it was free. No Sapphire had locked herself within herself instead. Sapphire was trying to reach out though. She was trying to reach out to this boy who seemed so broken it kind of scared her.
 
Daniel was sitting on the blank empty space of the filthy bleak street looking towards the horizon. There was no hope for him now.The dark abyss was still clouding his mind so with his heart. He wanted to cry now.But he knew it can't do anything to make him feel better,Instead it would make him feel like a baby not to mention that he was a teenage boy.He remembers the times when he was a younger boy where he would stumble and fall for a bout a billion times he never showed any sign of tear nor pain but he could remember the very first time that he fell.that time seemed like a million years ago.He could clearly remember that he was trying to ride his bike and he fell on a pile of stones, not only that, he was even mocked by the other kids.He remembers how her mother picked her up and how he just cried on the shoulders of his mother. He remembered very well what his father said to him during that accident.Oh they were so supportive back then.But after being sent to the reform school, it just seemed that his parents started to show no support towards him at all.His heart was already scarred by the accident, how the people accused him of what he did not do but the most painful part was he lost the two most important people in his life who seemed to understand everything about him now they are gone.He remembered how the wounds felt but nothing would hurt more than the wound in his heart that would never seem to heal.His life was already tragic enough but why would his parents lose faith in him?"They are gone..they are gone" He kept on putting in his thoughts.The picture of how everything happened flashed before his eyes once again.He was still seeing the faces of his best friend and his loved one during the accident."Why could have I not done something? This misery,this darkness might have never existed if I have done something" Daniel kept on thinking.

While he was sitting with misery and pain by his side, the girl who was trying to tell him knelt beside him and for a particular reason, the girl lifted Daniel's chin up. He knew what the girl's eyes was saying but the darkness in his heart can't find its way out of the darkness.Daniel just stared blankly at the girl but he knew very well what she was trying to say.He never thought that someone would still care about him now but he does not want to get close to anyone because they will all be bound to be gone and it will scar Daniel's heart more.
 
Sapphire could not remember a mother or a father. All she could remember where the halls of Bella-Donna manor and how sinster they seemed. In her mind the screams of so many that came before her and so many that would come after her cried and cried seeming to search for someone, anyone, to ease thier suffering. But no one would come. Mother had made sure of that. The forest was warded and gaurded by grusome beings that where some of Dympna's failed expiraments while the house itself was no more than a prison for the Children. Sapphire had felt sorry for the new girls that had come in no more than three years of age. Sapphire was going to Hogwarts when the time came and she would know what it was like to be somewhat free but the others... The others wouldn't know it for a long time.

She had heard that Dympna was making arrangments for Ruby to go to Beauxbatons after when the time came so she didn't even have her to look forward to then again she could be grateful for it. Having someone from the House around would push her back into herself. Sapphire knew that blank stare because it was one that she had given many times before. She was about to try and tell him that he could trust her but then something like ice shot seemed to shoot through her vains. She wrapped her arms around herself and backed up against a wall rocking back and forth. This didn't ease the pain but it was just something that she did.

Sapphire was whimpering now, the only noise that she was able to make. Her eyes where glassed over. This was the result of Dympna's latest expirament. She felt it in her very soul.
 
After staring blankly at the girl, Daniel looked away again.The way that the girl lifted his face up made him see an image of his dear loved one but he knew very well in his mind and in his heart that the girl was not her and that girl that he once loved is now gone.He remembered that the three of them used to laugh at the different stories and the different jokes that they used to share until the accident. Those laughs will never be heard again. The stories and the jokes will never be told again.All the happy thoughts will never be retrieved.It was like a dementor sucking everything away only Daniel's feelings were far way worse.

After everything that happened after the accident, Daniel learned that trust is hard to give or to gain.Trust is something that Daniel learned to unlearn.After a long time of deep thinking and reminiscing, he noticed that the girl was still beside him but after a few minutes, the girl started to act strange.The girl seemed to have a whiplash effect but it was a worse situation.He could see that the girl was suffering from pain and torture.The sound of her whimpers reminded Daniel of the sounds that his best friend and his dear one made during the accident.Daniel remembered that a few hours ago Daniel was thinking that if he had done something, the two most important people in his life would have not been gone then after that, a flashback reminded him of the accident again then at some point, he saw his best friend and his loved one talking to him. The background seemed to have lighten in Daniels eyes and his former loved one said something that gave Daniel the urge to do something to somehow help the girl. Daniel stood up and went to the girl.First he held the girl in an embracing manner to keep her still then he took off his leather jacket and he covered the girl's back with his jacket to give some heat to the girl's body.He did not bother to see how his action affected the girl.He went back to the filthy spot where he was sitting then he sat down again.
 
Sapphire's vision blurred as the voices started. She could hear them every time she went under something like this. The echos from the house and the sinister whisper in the back of her mind "Sapphire, let the cold spread Sapphire, feel it solidify your blood and make your heart stop beating. Fell the harshness of it, feel its power Sapphire wasn't feeling power what was coursing through her was pain as if small blades where moving through her. Sapphire threw her head back when a new waive went through her but all the escaped from her mouth was a sharp breath. Even under an attack like this Sapphire did not utter more than a whimper.

Finally it stopped and the world around came back into focus. She realized that there was now a leather jacket around her arms, not that it was doing much good there was a thin layer of ice around it. Sapphire was so small that even when frozen solid the jacket came off easily. She walked over to the boy to give his jacket back when it slipped from her fingers and crashed to the ground. The layer of ice had been devising because when the black cloth hit the floor it broke as if it had been dipped in liquid nitrogen. She looked at the boy now with wide eyes. Sorry, sorry, sorry! Her body language seemed to scream.
 
Daniel was still sitting on the filthy side of the bleak street.Her white shirt could clearly be distinguished as if it seems that it was the only bright colored thing on the face of the bleak street.She was still staring on the horizon but now his thoughts were focused on the girl.Daniel knew that he should not think too much about a stranger knowing that there are a lot more things that he needed to focus on. But he just cannot forget how something just attacked the girl.It was like an invisible force that kept on taunting the girl.It was like it wanted to kill her. He can't help but think that he was sort of cursed because the people who went close to him suffers different things.

Daniel sensed that the girl was coming close to him. He did not know what to do after leaving the girl and not even looking at what happened after her weird seizure.Daniel's blank face faced the girl. He took the shattered jacket from the girl and looked at it but his actions tells that it was not her fault.Daniel's eyes seemed to shine when he saw that the girl was just fine. After taking his jacket back he stood up and started to wander around the corners of Bleak street.He gestured the girl asking if the girl wanted to come with him.
 
Sapphire could see that he didn't understand what had just happened. Sapphire knew that he could never understand. Sapphire could never tell him. She looked at the boy and was surprised to see that he looked happy. Happy that she litterly broke his jacket? Of course not, happy that she was alive more likely. It did feel like she was about to die so how it looked it might have been all the worse. Sapphire smiled kindly and nodded when he asked her to walk with him.

Sapphire reached inside her shirt as they walked and took out a sapphire pendent. She showed it to the boy then tapped at herself. My name was what she meant. Sapphire at least wanted to have a name for the boy even if she never saw him again. She hoped that she could see him again because it seemed like he could be a good friend. He was silent like herself but she was sure that he had other reasons to be so.
 
It has been a long time since Daniel saw the meaning of friendship and the sense of belongingness. All anger and darkness seemed to cover it all up.It was even his first time to smile in the territory of the magical world. But still Daniel was not ready to open up to anybody.Anybody who would like to know what really happened must gain his full trust.

Daniel noticed that the girl brought out a pendant with a sapphire gem.He knew that this pendant was not a mere show off of what the girl has in her pocket.Then as she brought out the pendant,she tapped herself.Daniel understood that she was introducing herself. Daniel just showed a nod and continued to walk.His serious face seemed to show up again. Daniel even understood that this girl has something in her that she did not want to bring out.That reason may be the main purpose why she was not talking just like Daniel has his reasons.

As they were walking, everything turned blurry.At first, Daniel did not really mind but after a while he decided to sit on one corner of the filthy streets again.He turned dizzy then everything came flashing before his eyes. Every part of the accident and every mocking looks of the crowd after he returned from his reform school.It seems like someone wanted him to suffer over and over again.At first, the memories came rolling like a movie but that was just a product of his mind.This was very unexpected,for the memories to come like that was really unusual.Was there another reason why his parents decided to send him to Hogwarts?Now everything was not clear in Daniel's thoughts again.
 
It had been an equally long time since Sapphire had met someone as voiceless as her. There was one that lived in the woods that had no voice like her but she had found out after a moment in time that the woman in the woods had been nothing more than a monster trying to take her away. Ruby had told her this and when she saw three others that had been in the woods kill an unfortunate soul that had found his way into it Sapphire had never gone out to see her again.

The boy was at least human and she knew that he wouldn't kill her. If anything Sapphire could be the one to have an unfortunate accident and... She looked away. Sapphire didn't want to think about that. It had been an accident only and accident, that what Mother had told her. That didn't stop Sapphire from feeling that it all had been her fault.

Again she brushed it from her mind and walked on until the boy was forced to sit again. She looked at him as he sat on a corner seeming like he was going to be sick. Sapphire placed her hands on either side of his face and made him look at her. She had a skill for knowing when someone was sick or not. That how she found out about Phobos before anyone else. It was just that her eyes got her in trouble more often than not. It was because of her eyes that she no longer had a voice.

Sapphire could see thought that the boy was not physically sick but emotionally. It was the same sickness that most of her siblings had, a sickness that she knew nothing about curing. Sapphire could only sit next to the boy and hold his head up so that air could get to his head and into clear his head a little bit. You are not alone Sapphire thought.
 
Every single detail of everything made Daniel want to cry.Everything seemed blurry and it seemed like he was not in the real world.Daniel knew very much that his body in the real world was sort of unconscious. It was like Daniel's mind had him trapped inside with no key that could ever allow him to escape until it could say what it wanted to say.The memories were so real but no one could see him.He saw the accident once again but this time it really looked like he was once again returning back in time he tried to reach out to his friends but they cannot see him. He saw himself just lying unconsciously while his friends were trying to find a way out.But as they try to find their way out, everything came falling and at a snap moment, everything was gone.He hurriedly ran to his unconscious body but he cannot touch it. He tried to shake his body but still he can't touch it. He screamed at his body trying to wake himself up. Everything flashed before his very eyes. He saw how his friends struggled to find a way out to save the three of them while his useless body just lied there. Daniel was so furious that he screamed at the top of his voice he cried all the tears that he could ever cry but every teardrop won't fix the damages.Every teardrop can't replace the blood that shed through the place.Every crescendo that kept on adding to his voice can't return the lives of the two people who seemed to be the only ones to understand him."Why would this cruel world take them away?It should have been me who lost my life and not them"he kept on crying to himself.

After he screamed his last shout, a hole sucked Daniel and he fell through a hole that seemed endless. then afterwards he was back to his body in the real world.It almost seemed unbelievable that he was still alive after everything that he witnessed. Daniel noticed that the hands of the girl was holding his head up, Daniel immediately hugged the girl after his body returned to its normal pace.He hugged her just like the way he hugged her mother the first time he fell.Tears were held back and he was catching his breath. He forgot that the girl beside her was a stranger to himself and the same with her.He immediately unhugged her when he caught his breath back and he stared at him with his eyes apologizing for what happened.
 
Sapphire knew that the boy was going through something in his head. He had that far away look that Ruby sometimes got when her mind was so busy that didn't even knew where she was. Mother said that the medicine that she gave them was supposed make that go away but most of the time it just seemed to make it worse. Sapphire tried not to drink the medicine but Mother knew when she didn't. Things when badly for her when she didn't do as she was told.

When the boy came back to himself it seemed like he was looking at her with new eyes. She hugged him back as if she where hugging a brother or her beloved Ruby. When he let go of her Sapphire reached out and got a piece of hair out of his face. She then thought of something. out of the sash to her dress she took out several markers then reached for the boy's hand. She put her's next to his and started to draw hoping the boy wouldn't mind. She could see what she wanted to draw clearly in her mind and it was as if the markers where reading her mind and put what she was seeing on their skin.

It didn't take all that long for her to finish her drawing. It wasn't perfect but Sapphire liked it. She reached her black marker once more and wrote on the bottom You are not alone. She looked at the boy with the brightest smile anyone could ever hope for. She hoped that the boy hadn't minded that she drew on his skin but she had just gotten so inspired that she had to do something or she had been in danger of exploding.
 
Daniel had never experienced that happening before. He did not know how that even happened.It was like a certain force that becomes stronger and stronger when his body becomes weak."If ever someone really is behind this, that person might really want me to suffer maybe that's a reason why my parents sent me to Hogwarts.Maybe my parents knew that this would happen".Daniel quickly thought.He made a soft sigh and he stared down.Since the accident, his life had been different.And at some point,unusual things started happening.

His jumbled boggled mind can't seem to figure out anything anymore."Did that accident happen for a very important purpose?Does it have a meaning other than my best friends being dead?" Daniel added to his thoughts. He was already thinking deep finding an answer somewhere.

While he was thinking, he felt something on his skin. It was a little wet.Then he saw that the girl was drawing something on his arm. He was staring at his arm while the girl drew things and wrote words on it.After the girl was done writing, Daniel noticed that the girl had smiled. He never saw the girl smile since he met her.Daniel looked what was up with his arms and saw the words "You are not alone" on it. Daniel's green eyes looked at the girl and smiled a barely noticeable smile looking down once again to think.
 
The boy seemed to be else where in his mind so Sapphire had been free to do what she wanted. She didn't what kind of sadness the boy had been through but she hoped that she was making even little better. She saw his smile only a little bit before he looked back down and Sapphire let out a silent sigh. She knew how it felt to be without hope. There had been times when she doubted that she was going to make it to school age. The walls of Bella-Donna Manor where decorated with the pictures of boys and girls that she couldn't remember but knew that they had been there at one point.

It was then that Sapphire remembered why she was sent into Bleak Street. Sapphire searched her sash again and took out a bit of parchment. The list of things that she had to get from one of the shops here. A potions shop she guessed because all of them where potions. She looked at the boy apologetically then got up. She looked around that the filthy street and offered the boy a hand. She was asking him to come along. It would be nice she thought if there was someone else at her side. Yes he was young too and couldn't use magic yet but she felt somewhat safer with someone else there.
 
Daniel had been tired of searching his mind and memories for answer for he knew it was hopeless. No matter how he searched if th answer would not really show up it just won't work.So Daniel decided to get his head up and he looked at the brightness covering the filthy streets of the Bleak street.

Just as the moment that Daniel lifted up his head he saw the girl who was about to stand.He could not imagine how much things have happened with him while he was with the girl who were still strangers to one another. When the girl offered her hand,Daniel knew that she was asking for company.He felt like a deja vu just strucked him only it was the opposite. Daniel's green eyes looked at the girl. He thought for a long time before he decided to go with the girl.Upon making up his mind, he nooded and stood up from where he was sitting.
