Abby knew that it was Brightstone weekend for Hogwarts. It was time to do the almost mentally impossible. It was time to meet Sia.

Early in the morning, Abathyn woke to Laani kicking her ribs. It was getting increasingly painful, but the 6 month pregnant woman stumbled out of bed to sort out her first child, Jaimee. She cooked breakfast for Mel (who was still in bed (the lucky thing)) and apparated to the village. She then spotted a familiar face.

"Sia? Sia darling, get over here right now!" Abby called in mock anger.

Sia had been walking absentmindedly through the village, happy for an opportunity to be out of school. When someone called out her name, she whirled around in surprise. Sia didn't recognise the older woman, so . . . who could it be.

Mentally, Sia reviewed her list of friends . . . and relatives! After a moment's thought she realised this person could only be her cousin Abathyn. The two had communicated often by owl, but never actually met face to face. Sia didn't know how Abathyn had recognised her, but it was the only answer that made sense. Sia had been finding out about long-lost relatives all over the place, and was extatic to meet at least one in person.

Sia ran to her cousin, coat and hair flapping behind her.
"Abathyn!"

Abby caught Sia as she ran up towards her and gave the girl a huge hug. "Sia! Watch the bump, it's kicking." Abby joked, leading her cousin over to a seat. "Sit down... how's Hogwarts?" Abby began with the small talk; she had a huge question to ask soon.

Sia grinned delightedly at finally getting to meet her cousin. She had almost forgotten that Abby was pregnant, but remembered suddenly at the sight of her rounded belly. Sia sat down, pulling Abathyn gently down with her.
"Hogwarts is great. I'm really surprised at how soon we had the Brightstone weekend; it seems like no time at all since classes started. How have you been?"

"I've been good... the babies been a nightmare though," Abby cringed, forgetting that her cousin was only eleven. "Now, I needed to ask you something..." Abby trailed off, having no idea how to ask it.

((oops, Jay somehow disappeared :r and we are in two places at once... damn wedding :p ))

((I'm not worrying about the two places at once thing too much))

Sia glanced at her cousin inquisitively.
"What's your question?"
Abby had sounded as though the question was somehow awkward.
