Kiara sighed as she walked through the corridors of the castle. She had been in a bad mood ever since the party and she could not believe that things were going to end like this. Sure, she had wanted to leave some sort of legacy behind, but this was simply ridiculous. Detention with Professor Styx every Saturday and her friendshad their Prefect Responsibilites suspended. Athena however, had gotten the worst of it. She lost her badge all together. Kiara felt horrible about ever having thought about having a party. When she had first spoken to Athena about it at the beginning of the school year, she had simply been joking about it, she hadn't really thought that they would do this. However, over the weeks, they had sat up in the Common room and talked over more details of the planning. Eventually it had become a real mission and they had set out to work things out. Altthough Athena had organised most of it, Kiara felt as though she should have taken atleast half of the blame, she was just as responsible for this as her friend, but as it worked out, Athena had taken the blame. Kiara sighed, she had to be the worst friend in the histry of bad friends. How could she have let this happen. Justin wasn't to phased by it all, he hadn't really cared much about his Prefect status, apart from the fact that he had a shiny badge, he didn't care. So it made Kiara feel alittle better in that regard, but the prinicple disappointment in herself was still there. She was going to do anything and everything she could to make it up to Athena and Justin, mostly to Athena, but even Justin was alittle sulky about not being able to go to the Prefects common room. She had heard some stories about that place afterall. It was apparently an amazing place, of course she would never know, she was not a Prefect.
Kiara headed towards the Entrance hall and grumpily made her way outside. She wanted very much to be away from the hum drum of her time inside. Now that she would be spending much of her free time in the company of the School's resident Devil, she wanted to spend any time she could, outside. Now that she couldn't do as she liked, she realised just how much she was taking for granted her life. She had simply assumed that she would be able to continue her defiance without any trouble. How wrong she was. It was just unfortunate that it took being busted in the Forbidden Forest by Styx to teach her a lesson she was sure that she would never forget. Of course, she had to admitt she was going to lay a lot of the blame on whoever it was that reported them in. She was almost certain that it was that Kickett girl. That b!tch had it in for Athena from day dot and Kiara wanted to get her back, she just didn't know how. She knew however, that if it was the last thing she did, she was going to get her revenge on that girl. She had no reason to turn on her fellow Slytherins. Where was that damn sense of loyalty these people supposedly had. Obviously it had skipped her along the line somewhere and Kiara really wanted the situation rectified. She mulled over her thoughts as she found the rock that she and Athena had been sitting on that day they had talked about the party. It was their favourite spot because they liked their peace and quiet and not many people were around. She sighed, the Castle seemed to just put her in a foul mood these days.
