The freedom that school gave Savannah wasn't really all that different from what she'd had at home. This didn't come as a surprise to Savannah, not really, but she also just knew that it was a little different. She didn't have any parents around, there was no one to keep in line, no one to pretend they were too tired for dinner. Things at school were impossibly easier, if only because she could leave some of it to others. Savannah certainly didn't mind not having to cook for herself a couple of nights a week. It was the elves job and they could do it better than she, she'd welcome them doing it over her. But Savannah was exploring, there were grounds to visit. Lots of people to interact with and lots of school areas to explore. She stopped at the lake front, glancing out over the water. It was winter now and the water was probably glacially cold, but it was probably quite nice in the summer. She could go swimming without having to go to the harbour or force her parents to take her to the beach. Yeah, Savannah could get used to this place.
