Isabella had been back in New Zealand for a few days already after having spent the majority of her summer in her home in Italy. She wished to stay in Italy longer, since she always missed it while she was at school, but she had a job at Dervish and Banges to attend to and didn't plan on losing it any time soon so when the time came, she was back at work.

Currently she was wearing a colorful dress that was rather short as she walked down the streets of Brightstone after having gotten off her shift of work. Her skin was tan, as it usually was during the summer, and her usually dark hair now had many streaks of honey in it because the sun had lightened them. Isabella was thinking about going over the the Ice Cream Parlour for a sundae on this particularly hot day of summer and was rummaging in her purse for her galleons when she accidentally bumped into someone and her purse, along with its contents went falling to the floor. Isabella quickly gasped as she said, "Sorry!" and quickly bent down to pick up her items and galleons that began rolling away.

Aiden had spent his whole summer in New Zealand, while his father, Gaspard, was trying to replace his old head of house and Defense Against the Arts Professor, which he thought was odd, considering his families reputation. Truthfully he didn't care, he was related to someone in The Gang at Durmstrang and was basically safe from trouble, although it did remind him a bit of the unofficial Glam Squad. That had his exgirlfriends in it, and some other girl and his cousin. Although he hadn't heard about his cousin and the other girl in it.

Aiden had just been walking around, hoping to find someone he knew when a girl bumped into him. He looked down at her, and saw that it was Isabella. He frowned but helped her pick up her things. "Here you are Bells," he said in a gruff voice as he stood up straight and offered the things he had picked up for her. Aiden had changed a fair amount since he left Hogwarts, in appearance and personality. His face was thiner, his arms more muscular, he was taller and leaner then before as well. Aiden was also a lot less dramtic, and had begun focusing on his studies more, in hopes to please his family so he would not be disgracing them as much as Gaspard was. Not only this, but Aiden had gotten a better perspective on what was important to him.

lame ^^

Isabella was quickly putting her things back in her purse, unaware of the person she'd bumped into. Once she had gotten everything she could, she stood up, ready to apologize once more for not being so careful when she heard a familiar voice. Bells, only one person ever called me that, she thought, her heart skipping a beat before she finally looked up into the face of the person. Aiden. Her mouth dropped open in shock but she quickly closed it, biting her tongue in the process. "Ow!" she said, wincing in pain as she felt blood ooze in her mouth.

After the moment of pain had passed, Isabella was still in shock over who she was seeing standing right in front of her. He looked different than when she had last seen him, and seemed to have grown taller since she had to look up more than usual, but his bright blue eyes were still the same and just looking into them caused her to melt. No! she yelled at herself. No! You're not allowed to do this. He's not allowed to do this to you! "W-what are you doing here?" she asked in disbelief.

Aiden noticed that Bella's mouth dropped open and then locked tight, his eye brows rose with amusement. She hasn't changed much, he thought recalling the Yule Ball when she had basically done the same thing. "W-what are you doing here?" He smiled a boyish grin, but it still appeared to be more of a smirk then anything else. "I live here," Aiden answered with a shrug.

"What are you doing here? I figured you'd be with your family," the Durmstrang boy asked, catching her big, brown eyes for a moment and couldn't help but wish Gaspard had never made him leave and that they would still be together. He had not completely gotten over her yet, but was on the track, however if things went well he could find the same adorment he had for her.

Aiden pressed his firm lips together, and crossed his arms against his chest, not realizing that he was having the very same mannerisms his father and grandfather did. He tore his gaze from her quickly, as if looking at her would draw him in, more then Alyssa ever could with her siren sounds. He missed Isabella in the time that he had left, hell he missed everyone. Patricia, Harri, Steph, Alyssa, even Theodore. He wished that he could have that odd mishapen life back at Hogwarts once more, but there wasn't anyway possible. Now that his marks were high his father certainly was not going to let him come back just for them to go down again.

"You live here?" Isabella repeated, her tone a little too harsh. He couldn't live here, he went to Durmstrang, he had to live over there. When he asked her the same question in return Isabella nodded her head slowly. "I live here too," she said firmly. "Plus I have a job to attend to," she added with a gesture towards Dervish and Banges somewhere not far behind her.

Isabella was doing everything in her power not to gush at the fact that he was actually here and the only way she knew how to block out her feelings for him was to be angry, an emotion she had been feeling all along. She mirrored his image as she too crossed her arms over her chest and pursed her lips. "Why didn't you say goodbye? Or write?" she asked harshly, though it was just a mask to hide the pain she felt while saying it.

Aiden nodded his head firmly, ignoring Bella's harsh tone, he knew exactly what she was doing. "Rosaline just grabbed me as I was going to go say bye to everyone, never got a chance to, and I didn't write because well, I thought it would be easier then reading your words about how you and Mike are together," he grumbled angrily. He clenched his fists, and his blue eyes met hers, he had never been so jealous and frustrated before. When Mike waltzed in well that was when it began for Aiden.

"I wrote Harri, she told me that everyone was angry with me, thought it would save me from that as well," Aiden answered with a cool shrug.

Bella's mouth dropped open once again when he mentioned her and Mike being together. "You have got to be kidding me," she muttered under her breath as she shook her head in disbelief. If that was the reason he hadn't written, then he seriously didn't understand how head over heels she was for him. "For your information Mike and I are not together! Nothing has happened between us because--" she began to raise her voice at him and quickly stopped after because. She knew why she and Mike hadn't gotten together, it was because she wasn't over Aiden.

And when she was finally starting to move on, he had to show up unexpectedly like this, looking better than ever, and it frustrated Bella. This isn't fair! she told herself angrily. Every time she saw him she was right back to where she started, but she couldn't allow herself to fall for him again. It always ended in heartbreak.

She kept her arms crossed and avoided looking him in the eye, her weakness, and said out loud, "You know the only reason I was so mad at you was because you didn't write. If you had then maybe I wouldn't be so hostile to you right now," she said through gritted teeth. It was true. If he had written to her, maybe she would've found closure with him, but now she was just unleashing all her pent up anger she felt for him because it was the only emotion she was allowing herself to show him. Forget the fact that she missed him to pieces, that she seemed to fall for him all over again every time she saw him--No, all that had to be replaced with anger.

Aiden tore his eyes from Isabella and scowled outwardly. "Because what Bella?" he snapped, his voice became louder from frustration. He didn't wish to act like this any longer, he had become normal in Durmstang, and didn't want to get into any of this stupid drama. He pursed his lips before looking back to her when she spoke to him. "Well I didn't know that did I? You had all your friends and I had to meet all these people I didn't exactly care to meet," he grumbled.

Isabella rolled her eyes but decided to ignore his question. "It doesn't matter anymore! Just know that Mike and I are not together," she said bitterly. Part of her wanted to blame him for that, but honestly she didn't think she was ready to be in a relationship, she just wanted to take a break from the drama. Part of her wanted to sigh and give up and stop fighting with Aiden but she glanced over at him and caught his eye and her heart started beating faster. Why did he have to be so damn cute?!

Isabella stayed silent after his last comment and was going to say that he could've asked Harri how she was but a frown formed on her face. "Harri's gone," she said simply, as if it were a response to something though it was just her thinking out loud. She braved looking up at him and said, "I wanted to at least know how you were doing but Harri left not long after you did," she said, her voice barely more than a whisper. Ever since Bella had started dating Aiden she and Harri had seemed to hang out around the same people and she was really starting to get closer to the older Gryffindor girl, but she had had to leave before their friendship could progress any further.

"Harri's gone."

Aiden's eyes widened and his thoughts swarmed. He heard that someone at Hogwarts had died, but there was nothing else heard aside from that. "What do you mean gone?" he asked, his tone of voice was firm, one that showed this was not the time to be joking around. He needed to know what happened to his friend. No- his best friend. He had believed that her owl just gotten lost on the way to him. "Left? She went home? Why?" Aiden asked, rapidly, not giving Isabella a chance to respond to his earlier question. God Damn! I should have ordered Gaspard to let me stay, he thought with a shake of his head, before looking deep into Bella's lovely brown eyes.

Isabella opened her mouth to explain and clarify Harri's departure but before she could, Aiden kept firing questions at her. "I don't know why she left," she said solemnly, "I never got to say goodbye to her either." She knew that Steph might know the answer to why Harri had left but she still wasn't speaking to the redhead so she was still as clueless as ever. "So don't be saying how I was better off with friends at Hogwarts," she reminded him, since Harri's departure had been almost as bad as Aiden's. Tired of fighting with him, which is what they constantly did whenever they saw each other, Isabella bit her pink glossed lips and asked, "Umm, how's Durmstrang?" She was curious to know if he was enjoying his time there and happy that he had left Hogwarts.
