Hoshi was back in school and back on her game. The world felt fresh and knew yet similar and happy. She wasn't a Koshiba anymore. It was for this more than anything else that Hoshi was smiling out into the endless looking sky. She was lounging upside down with her head on off the edge of the cliff while the rest of her body was lying as flat as it could on a rock bed. From this point of view Hoshi couldn't see the splashing sea below but she would hear it. She was seeing a lot more of old friends and some knew ones. Hoshi was felt as if she was finally leading the life she wanted to and none of it included the horrible pureblood family that she had grown up with.

Having returned to the castle after quite a rough Winter Sam couldn't be more happier. It was the sheer freedom of Hogwarts that he loved. That he could practice quidditch, his music and magic wherever and whenever he wanted to. Another, and most important factor of returning to Hogwarts was his friends. Even though he didn't see them around all the much last year, he promised himself that this year would be different. He wouldn't let them slip from his fingers because he missed each of them like crazy. The scare of Hoshi at the end of the last term really made him realise that he couldn't take these people for granted.

Sam was walking along the cliffs edge. Spring was in the air and it was obvious, the wind had gotten rid of its iciness and it was replaced with a cooler more refreshing breeze. The birds chirped happily in the trees and soared happily above him. As his clear blue eyes looked away from the beautiful creatures, the now taller more handsome Sam spotted a figure lying flat at the edge of the cliff. Sam could have recognised this person from anywhere. Hoshi. Sam laughed to himself as he shook his head. Like all of his friends, he hadn't seen her all summer. In fact that last time he saw her was in the Hospital which was a guilt ridden and scary thought. "Well, well look what the troll dragged in." He said playfully as he looked down at his friend. His voice was noticably deeper, his shoulders broader and his facial features were more defiant but it was the same Sam on the inside. As he looked at Hoshi, he knew she had returned. His crazy yet incredibly lovable friend was back! And to be honest, Sam couldn't be happier about it.

Hoshi had changed a bit too. Her face was still impish and she still had a cheeky grin but her body seemed to want to show more that Hoshi was indeed a girl. She wasn't helping with the button of the light sweater undone one too far and giving the illusion that there was nothing under it. Yes Hoshi was crazy and she liked it that way. It was better than being what her father had wanted her to be. "Speaking of Trolls who have you been?" She asked as she gave Sam an arched eyebrow look.

Hoshi felt totally at ease with Sam because there was nothing there but friendship. Yes Sam was becoming something that most girls would drool over but Hoshi didn't think of Sam that way. She remembered that Sam had been there when she had woken up along with the friends that had shown up. It had been them that had given Hoshi the will to go right up to her father and tell him to eat it. "How's everything really?" She asked shaking her head. Her hair, which she kept looking as if it where being over taken by green fire, flowed behind her.

Sam sat down on the cliff beside Hoshi, his legs hanging off the edge next to Hoshi's head. With a casual shrug he answered her question, "Everything is good. Its good to be back y'know?" Sam didn't want to go into the whole Toni thing, to be honest, he didn't really want to talk to anyone about it. He figured if he kept it a secret, no one would have to know and maybe, just maybe the problem would sort itself out. "What about you?" He asked her casually whilst dropping a small pebble off the edge of the cliff. His calm blue eyes watched the pebble until it was out of sight and then looked at Hoshi whose head was still dangling freely off the cliff.

Hoshi nodded as best she could while having her head like that. She was starting to get a little dizzy but that was only to be expected. When her head started to hurt that was when she was going to get up. "Better now I'm out of the hospital. Did you know that my father got away with cursing me like that?" She said looking down/up some. She still couldn't get over the fact that her father was still free after what he did to her. Then agian it was only to be expected when he owned most of Magical Japan.

It wasn't her problem anymore Hoshi was free of that family so she could live now. "Thank you for being there for me Sam-kun it reallly helped." She said sereioly. It had helped her a lot when she was fighting her darker half to know that there where people that didn't only want her around but needed her around. She had been sleeping to most people but to herself she had been fighting for her life.
