Dante was quite liking Hogwarts New Zealand. It was large, large enough for him to not feel enclosed when walking through the halls. There was also a lot of places to move around and explore, like outside, it was nice outside. But not quite as nice as it was in here. Atleast in the library, the pale boy was shielded from the sun and most of the heat that came with it. Something he had not thought about was the fact that New Zealand was far warmer than Italy, now he knew why Jeremiah seemed to always be suffering from colds at home, even though it'd be perfectly normal weather. The new Ravenclaw exhaled quietly and looked amongst the books. here was a great variety of books, but he suspected that there were far more interesting books in the locked off part... but he couldn't get in there, so it was hopeless thinking about it. Instead, he walked past the temptation and continued to an easily accessible part of the library, where he was hoping to find a decent book to bury his face in. He wanted to pass the time, and reading was probably the best way to do it, there was really no other easy way.

Dante smirked when he found a book with a somewhat interesting title. He pulled the book from the shelf and looked at it for a bit. He wasn't just going to pick up a random book and attempt to read it, he'd grow far too bored. But this book would do, for now. The raven-haired boy decided to sit at one of the many desks and stretch out quietly, placing his feet on the table. Yes, it was rude, but he was sure that his shoes were probably cleaner than the surface could ever hope to be anyway, he'd just gotten them cleaned and he didn't frequent mud and dirt. He opened the book on his lap and flicked through the pages. It wasn't school related, but it should distract him for long enough.

There was nothing but a warm day in Hogwarts when Katerina decided to go to the library instead in the garden. She had walked many times inside and outside the castle without taking a glimpse in that place. She had been there last week and was about to read a book. But it wasn't a good idea. She was easily tempted by the beautiful place and she was unable to study her lessons in advance. So, she promised not to go there if she's going to study her lessons because it might call her again and might not get to control her temptaion.

The library was really huge and the they were lots of books were kept in tall shelves. She had also saw a floating book and a book flying ascendingly in front of the shelf to go where it was really kept. It didn't amazed Katerina because she had already saw it in her house in the Wizarding World when her father decided to take the book back in it's shelf when she was only 3.

Katerina didn't go in the library to study but to look forward with some interesting books that could give her another knowledge to know more spells, potions, and histories. She's always been curious and she wanted to know anything. Unlike the other kids, Katerina didn't even took time what book she's going to get because after looking at the titles, she would get it without even thinking twice. She took five books and carried them all and walked towards to a chair, placing all five books on a wooden table which was quite far from the sun's rays.

Katerina didn't want to hit by the sun's rays. She dislikes it very much because it really made her feel warm and all she wanted was a cold weather. That's why she loves raining.

Hogwarts: A History was the first one that Katerina chose to read first. It was very mpressive and really packed with interesting stuffs that could be seen inside the Hogwarts castle. While she was reading, she saw a pale and brown haired boy reading on the same table. Katerina could guess that the book that he was reading wasn't all about spells, potions, or history. It looks like a complete book about tales. And this time, Katerina became curious on what he was reading. She wanted to know the title so she can look for another available book for it. But, she couldn't see the title.

"Excuse me, may I know what's the title of the book you are reading?"
Katerina suddenly asked the pale boy in a clever tone but in a respectful way.

Dante continued to flick through the pages of the book, that, much to his dismay, wasn't as interesting as he first thought. He wanted a distraction, but he couldn't really find one, so he was forced to just lounge around and watch the books gather dust. Dante looked up when he was disturbed. Sometimes, all the boy wanted was some down time, this was one of those moments. But he wasn't at all riled about the interruption, he only wished that he knew the person. He was lucky enough to meet one person on the train to Hogwarts New Zealand, and if he recalled correctly, that same boy had been sorted into Ravenclaw, but he had yet to locate him. Dante looked back at his book and closed it so he could re-examine the title. He took a second to comprehend the words and their English pronunciations, just to make sure he didn't end up speaking to her in Italian, he wasn't sure if she spoke Italian, but it probably wasn't very likely at all. However, in the end, he decided against speaking. He had no need of such a form of communication. He pressed the book to the table for her to read. 'The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore.' "Boring," he said quietly, describing the contains of the book.

After a few minutes of total silence, Dante grew a little bored, and decided that it'd be rude to just leave. She was already talking to him - that gave him an obligation to respond. It was too late now. "Dante." He greeted, pulling his feet off of the table and fixing his posture.

The title suddenly made Katerina remembered that she had already read that book. She had once read it when she was only nine but decided not to finished it and had almost forgotten about it. "That book was written by Rita Skeeter. I've read her biography. She's a journalist and a biographical author and worked for the Daily Prophet." Katerina explained even she knew that the boy wasn't asking about the writer. But she was trying to be friendly and just want to share about something she knew about the book. She wouldn't start about the author's information if they were not talking about books. "Yeah. I think so. I've read it once and I don't know if they were all true." Katerina agreed. She knew Rita Skeeter a bit and she knew what she had done the last few years ago.

Katerina wasn't trying to be perfect or something. She was only proud about her intelligence without being arrogant. But she hope that people would understand that she loves giving some information when they were talking about something near to their topic. She don't want to be misinterpret.

"Katerina, Katerina Montereal. But I would prefer to call me by my nickname 'Kate' if you want." Katerina said with a smile with the same clever voice.

It was obvious that the girl was familiar with the book. Such knowledge about the author was not something that one acquired through general conversation. He wasn't knocking it, but if he were going to be completely honest, he didn't care who the author was, what they did or whether this girl knew anything about them or not, because the book appeared to be horrible anyway. Dante adored books, but this one was not up to his standards and if he were to voice his opinions, he would also add that the girl was too talkative. Luckily for Dante, he wasn't always driven by the need to be totally honest with people, even though being condescendingly blunt had its perks, right now it wouldn't get him very far. The silence he was enjoying had already been hindered. He did not wish to mix his own voice too much into the fray. He plastered a small smile on his face, determined to see this through to the bitter end while his silence ran away. "My father says she is an idiot." he responded, trusting in the judgement of his family members. If he could not trust in them - then who could he trust? His lack of communication with them was not from lack of trust, but lack of interest. Two very different things.

Dante rested his arms folded across the covering of the book. He had walked into this conversation and now he had to wear it. There was no reason in running away - that would be rude. She introduced herself, and Dante had to admit, she had a rather nice name, but she wanted to be called Kate, for whatever reason. That was not as nice - but it was not his name, therefore not his place to decide what she should be called. "House?" There were house stereotypes, but Dante was not very familiar with any of them, since his brother was little help when it came to knowledge about the houses because he also had very little room within him to care about house rivalries. Dante was also unaware that she would most likely be wearing her house colours, for he was not looking directly at her. He was looking through her, almost, acknowledging her but not examining her.

Katerina had already lost her focus from reading without even realizing. She didn't dare to close the book but she wasn't looking at it anymore nor just a glimpse. And it seems that she's more interested to talk to the boy named Dante. Kate maybe very good and brilliant but she can be easily and completely distracted. She's always like that.

Katerina chuckled. It was a funny thing that Dante told her that his father said that Rita Skeeter was an idiot. Katerina agreed with this one but decided not to say a word. She didn't want to join or start some murmurs and gossips but of course, she couldn't avoid from agreeing and disagreeing and it's better to shirk with some stuffs that shouldn't have talk about. Rita Skeeter maybe made the readers more interested with her articles and books but she almost like faking them with something - believing with some things that are not really true and that's what Katerina was thinking.

"Ravenclaw." said Katerina. And this time, this made her like saying, 'What? Obviously...' inside her mind. But Dante looks like he didn't know what Katerina's house, so Katerina decided to looked at her uniform to check if there wasn't visible. And yes, her curly brown hair was shrouding her necktie and also her badge. Katerina bite her lips gently. "And maybe you're my fellow Ravenclaw." Katerina moved on. "Are you also a first year?" she asked.
