Cairo had again signed up for the school tutoring program, for the sake of retaining his knowledge as he had read that a person successfully teaching someone else in a subject was proof that they were an expert. He was confident in many of his subjects although had listed himself as being able to tutor younger students in Defence against the dark arts as it was one of his favourite classes. Cairo was soon paired with a boy named Ethan Mendoza who needed help with that subject, and sent a note to the boy earlier in the week to meet with him in the library. Cairo arrived early, chose a table near the back of the library, and set up the notes he had taken in earlier years of DADA. He was unsure of what year Ethan was in, but was not about to use that as an excuse to be unprepared to tutor him. Cairo then sat down at the table, and picked up his quill, making notes on the specific subjects taught in each year so he was fully organized as he waited for the boy to arrive.
