Kanako didn't really know why she signed up. Something to do, she supposed. She asked around and apparently this boy was hanging out around the lake for whatever reason. Sure enough, she spotted a boy there who looked young enough. She strode up to him. "Are you Miles?" she asked, a little forcefully.

Miles was half-way through his deliveries and was currently on the hunt for one of his recipients when, instead, someone found him. "That's me," he peered at the girl curiously for a moment before he glanced down at the roses she was delivering. It was already surprising enough that he gotten one, so he certainly hadn't been expecting a second.

"Well, you have a rose. It's a yellow one." She offered it along with the note with a look of pure indifference.
