Too Cold

[Turquoise Tangerine]

Turquoise moved her long blonde and purple hair from where it rested on her shoulder, she let it cascade down her back as she watched over the School from the highest point. Lilac had disowned her house, she refused to accept that she was a Gryffindor and she would have to be without her Sister, it wasn't fair. Turquoise wore a Pixel Tie her school uniform Modified to show no school colours. Turquoise had an owl in front of her which she pet softly, it nipped her a few times but she ignored the pain. 'Worthless Bird, send this to my sister' she said handing it a letter telling her sister to meet her at the north tower.

Turquoise had spent a total of two nights in her common room but refused to stay in there after that, she stripped her bed and packed her things and made herself a small nest area in the abandoned class room she had discovered. Turquoise gave the bird a shove since it still hadn't left and it nipped her again deeper this time but it took off to find Lilac.

The Blonde shook her head as she looked at her hand watching the blood ooze out of the wound. Turquoise was shaken out of her trance when she heard a noise but it was no one she sighed and sat down on a bench by the window, so far Turquoise had met her cousin and that was it which was disappointing but she didn't mind for now, she didn't have any plan on making friends until she was settled.

 

[Lilac Tangerine]

Lilac was resting in bed. The more time she spent at Hogwarts the more she loved it. Her classes so far where fun and she was learning so much. Granted it would be a few more years until she would be doing serious magic but she could wait. Her sisters owl fluttered into her room and Lilac read the note and sent the owl back to her sister without a reply. Tossing her book into the trunk at the foot of the bed Lilac made her way up to the North Tower where her sister had told her to meet for some reason.

Finally reaching the top Lilac looked at her sisters uniform with a puzzled look on her face. "So um what happened to your uniform?" Lilac asked her own Slytherin uniform perfectly pressed and neat as always. Lilac had learned very fast that Professor Styx wanted his students to put there best foot foreword. Taking a seat on the floor next to her sister Lilac rested her head on Turquoise's shoulder.

"So why are we here in the North Tower? This is a seriously long walk." Lilac couldn't help but wonder how her sister was doing. They had spent the past 11 years of there life together but for the first time they where apart from one another. Lilac missed sharing a room with her sister. But she had to admit that she was getting used to being her own person.

Turquoise heard a familiar noise of footsteps and she stood up and watched at Lilac appeared, she smiled and ran over to her pulling her into a tight hug before taking a step back, she heard Lilac talk before she engulfed her in a hug so she decided to answer her questions 'I changed it, I refuse to be in Gryffindor house, i don't how the sorting hat could be so stupid to think that i was one of those things but i refuse to wear its colour' she said with anger, she was rather annoyed at the Sorting hat and she vowed to find it and decorate it with ribbons and bows.

Turquoise walked away from Lilac and went back to lean against a wall near a window looking down on the students below 'Because i'm over everyone being so happy about being here in their perfect houses and here is quiet, not many people come around here' she said with a sigh as she looked at Lilac with hope, she could tell Lilac was happy and she didn't want to ruin it too much.
