To do is to teach, as to do is to do do?

James sat in the Library, reading his selected book for the evening. It was raining like anything outside, and there was nothing better to do around the castle. Dressed down as per usual, James observed over those in the Library over the brim of his book every so often. There weren't too many people that misbehaved around the Library, but there were a rare few that did; a rare evil few. Then it happened, the evil ones came out. Two children with fire works, throwing them around the library. James threw his book at them, smacking on child in the head.
"Out! Out! Out!" he squawked, walking bizarrely in their direction.

He wasn't so much as angry as he was looking for something to do. Pulling an odd face or two at them as they departed, James skipped back to his desk stupidly, holding his book in hand as he collected it along the way. "Library is shutting in ...." he paused for a moment and turned to face those in the library, a surprised look on his face, "We don't shut here.... riiiiiiighttt?" he asked in curiosity.

"No Sir." a girl spoke.

"Shibby!" he cut himself off and plotted his course back for the desk, taking a seat and engaging himself in the book once more. "And the duck galloped eagerly in the direction of the Webanaom!" James read aloud. He didn't have any idea what the book he was reading was about - in fact, all he knew was that there was a duck in it that ventured around New Zealand. Scrolling the words and continuing to read aloud, James waited for something interesting to happen.[/i]

Jessame Rose was desperate for something to do. She'd been studying so hard lately, she'd not had time to run. She had planned on going out for a few kilometres tonight, as she felt up to date in her studies, but some professor had stopped her when she was headed for the entrance and forbade her to go out in this weather.

Now she scowled and skulked back to the library. Anywhere but the horrifically friendly Hufflepuff common room or her dorm! JR felt like she was going mad in this prison of a school, where people walked around doing magic as if it weren't a horrible, freakish thing to do. It had been a full semester since she'd discovered Tohoru was two-timing her, and she hadn't found another boyfriend yet. She was desperate and lonely.

Entering the library, she noticed the librarian being a bit weird. Nothing out of the ordinary, Jess thought.... but she could change that...

"Quack. Mr Sal? You're reading a colouring book. Look, someone's chewed half of this page and spat it back out again. I'm looking for a real book, and I know you have it. Where is it?"

The simple fact that JR had spoken to someone of her own free will was out of the ordinary, let alone that she had consciously decided to play around and have some fun for the sake of it. She had a feeling the librarian might play along, no matter how many absurd requests she made.
