Emme was so glad to be back in the school. It was the first day of the second semester after one of the oddest and most arkward holidays that she had ever experienced. This year it was only her and Josh along with their mother for the Christmas day. Becca, Maddie, and Emme's father were over in England celebrating Christmas day there. If anything this christmas was lonely but still at least Emme had her brother still.
As she unpacked all her items and loads of new outfits all that morning, Emme almost wished she had classes today to get her mind off of things and really just to make sure that she wasn't so bored. Yet she had not one class which meant Emme was free to let her mind wonder and her boredom to take over, all day long.
Instead of staying in the Ravenclaw common room, Emme decided to walk along the corridors. All through the seventh corridor she walked but as she made it down the stairs and onto the sixth floor corridor her walk turned to a skip. As Emme skipped down the empty corridor she hummed to herself softly.
