Todd sat at a small, round table near the entrance of the library. His quill scratched against a piece of parchment as he jotted down a list of his subjects and assignments, trying to prioritise them based on deadlines and difficulty. The weight of NEWT year was already pressing on his shoulders, and he knew he had to stay organised to keep up and be able to enjoy personal time this year.

He glanced towards the entrance every now and then, hoping to get this finished as quickly as possible. His heart wasn't entirely in his studies as the thought of spending time with Penny kept distracting him. Todd sighed, rubbing his temples, and tried to refocus on the task at hand. He needed to get this list sorted so he could leave the library.

@Theodore Shepherd

Teo was a bundle of energy, and had been racing his shadow through the halls, just running to run really and weaving in and out of people- of course getting snapped at and some dirty looks from people as he brushed a little close in his race. He was rushing around, and reached a doorway, grabbing hold of the frame with both hands so he could twist himself in a very sharp turn and a very sharp stop. He was breathless, and about to turn and start to run off again, when he spotted someone he actually knew. "Hey! Wand guy!" He declared, and following his impulses he ran in, bouncing off the walls already. "Whatchadoingwhatchadoing?" He chattered, ready to literally hang off the older boy if he wasn't stopped.

Todd looked up from his book, startled by the sudden burst of energy from the boy he had sold a wand to over the break. "Shhh," he said, putting a finger to his lips, glancing around at the other students trying to study then quietly told him, "This is the library, you need to be quiet."

He took a deep breath, trying to muster some patience. "I'm just studying," he said, "But I haven't got long and I really need to focus." He liked the boys energy but he could do without it at this presise moment.

Teo wasn't great at personal boundaries, pushing in close to the boys side and wrapping around his arm a bit, sticking his face in closer to the book the older kid was reading. "Oooh, studying?" He whispered loudly. "Must be like- some super cool spells or something, I bet," He whisper-yelled. "Tellmetellmetellme," He shifted, leaning back dramatically while gripping the guys arm to keep him from falling.

Todd was surprised by Teo’s sudden closeness. He tried to shift slightly, but Teo’s grip on his arm kept him anchored. "Shhh. Library." Todd reminded him as the kids volume crept up. "Uh, it's more of planning future study, study.” Todd replied, trying to keep his voice steady, knowing Teo would probably find some way to make even that sound thrilling. “But really, I don't have long. I'm meeting my girlfriend.” Todd cringed inwardly, wishing he had kept that final detail private.

Teo pouted, but as Todd shifted Teo lost his grip, yelping softly and falling face first to the floor. He bit back a laugh, pushing up to sit down and rub at his sore nose. "Oooh, that's so cool!" He whisper-yelled. "What are you going to do?" He asked, ignoring the girlfriend bit- girls were gross and he didn't really care about that part.

Todd quickly moved to help Teo up, “You alright?” he asked, making sure Teo was okay. Seeing Teo’s excitement despite the tumble he knew he was fine. Todd again held his lips to his fingers, reminding the boy to keep his voice down again. He replied quietly, "I don't actually know, just hang out I think." Teo was much too young to need or want to know the details more than that.

Teo scrunched his nose at Todd's answer. "I didn't mean that," He whispered, keeping his voice down a little bit better this time. "Girls are so boring," He sighed dramatically, falling into a seat by Todd and leaning in, grasping the seat of his chair with both hands. "I meant the planning future stuff! That sounds really exciting."
