Olivia's jaw had dropped the first time she entered the library at Hogwarts, it was like nothing she had ever seen before. Ever since she first stepped inide she never wanted to leave and Olivia had spent every moment that she wasn't in class or sleeping in the library. She would barricade herself in a mini fort of books pilled high enough to conceal her. She was in her own little world. Ever since she had arrived at Hogwarts she had remained estranged from her sister despite harbouring hopes that she would be forgiven for her behaviour. The truth was just seeing her sister seemed like an impossible task, they were in different houses and different years there was very little crossover between their lives at Hogwarts. As such Olivia had effectively cut herself off from not only her sister but from everyone else.

The books that Olivia surrounded herself with where her escape, some were textbooks for her classes, some she had already began some she hadn't yet. Others were dusty things she found in and around some of the more relevant texts. Everytime Olivia found a new book she would make a note of the title and location and come back to it when she had gotten through some of the books in her current fort. Her list was already longer than some of essays written by her older housemates and she was beginning to wonder if she would ever get through her list.

Bridget was not very fond of the library, this because the books were not stacked by colour. She hated the mess of random books right next to each other. The library was big and nothing was really symmetrical except for the roof, but the roof was the only thing that bothered her. While searching for the History of Magic book she found that it was gone. At least not on the place were she had left it last. The book she needed for a piece on King Arthur and Merlin, she had no clue who they were nor did she cared much. There was a girl sitting at a table and there she saw her book poking out slightly of the fort of books the girl had created. She did not know the girl and Ravenclaws made her generally feel like a total idiot. Bridget decided quickly that she really needed the book now and did not want to come back to endure more stress at this awful library. She approached the girl and hoped she was a bit more talkative then she was. ''Uh..can I please borrow that book.''Bridget tried to point at a book stacked somewhere in the middle of the large pile. At the moment Bridget took her essentials out of her bag and tried not to fix the pile that the girl had made. It bothered her that not all books were laying completely straight.

Olivia was in her own world behind her book barricade. She loved the library because of what it provided. Absolute silence. This gave her the perfect environment to shut herself away and work. The only person at the school who she wanted to talk to still wasn't speaking to her so she wasn't interested in being anywhere social. Suddenly her silence was broken by a Slytherin girl approaching her table, she was prodding one of the books in her fort and asking if she could borrow it. Olivia paused before she answered, she identified the book the girls was motioning to and pulled it out making sure that none of the others fell. She looked at the book, it was a History of Magic, a book she had taken to read out of curiosity more than anything. As Olivia didn't take History of Magic this semester she had not brought her own copy to Hogwarts. She slid the book over to the Slytherin book, "Take it, I was just going to flick through, I don't even take History of Magic this semester," She said flashing a shy smile at the girl before turning her attention back to her book assuming the girl would take the book and move on.

The fact that Bridget did not have to go in the large pile to retrieve the book brought a smile on her face. The piles made her uneasy, they were not straight and were not on any order. Quickly she tried to put the pile of books straight, the girl was studying anyway and this made Bridget feel better. ''Thanks for the book by the way'' Bridget muttered slowly, she did not want to disturb the girl and unleash her wraith. Bridget opened the book and started to read on Merlin. Talking to the book about Merlin, which was something she did often. Bridget skipped page thirteen of the book, not caring what it said.

''What are you reading?''Bridget was curious and wanted to know everything. She wanted control of every situation that was thrown at her. The library was bothering her, so the control over this table was something Bridget needed.

Olivia mumbled in acknowledgement as the girl thank her for the book. She wasn't paying much attention as she was laser focused on her book. She did however noticed that the was messing with the books in her pile, or to be more specific she was straightening them. Olivia was a lot of things but she had never considered herself a neat freak, frankly as long as the books didn't fall over she considered them well pilled. As the straightness of the books clearly meant more to the girl than herself Olivia kept quite and allowed her to arrange them however she wanted while she continued to read.

The books must have been straight because soon after she stopped reorganising them the girl had begun to speak again. She asked what Olivia was reading, she couldn't figure out if it was because she was curious or because she didn't like that there wasn't something she didn't know. Either way Olivia decided to humour her. Wordlessly she held up the book to reveal the title Goshawks Guide to Herbology. On the surface Herbology wasn't her favourite subject, because it meant she had to get her hands dirty, but it wasn't important to her that her grades her goo across the board, regardless of her feelings towards an individual subject.
