Alyce was finally breaking down. It was too much stress. As the list goes her parents had just told her: You and your sister are blood sisters that we adopted together, We're going on a long vacation and your staying here, Your sister wasn't really sick she was in a mental hospital... She just couldn't take all the lies. She was sick of her parents lying all the time. She had run away from the house. Her mom had tried to follow, but she could run a lot faster and she didn't want to look at them right now. She looked up through her tears and saw she was in Obsidian Harbor. She found a wall were she hoped people couldn't see her cry, and she let it all out.

David walked through Obsidian wearing jeans and a jumper. Nothing seemed to be happening just recently and he was barely seeing Sandra. It was annoying him that he was never seeing his own wife but that's how things were and he couldn't do much to change it.
Dave stopped walking when he heard a noise. It sounded like crying but when he looked around, there's was no one crying at all. He walked towards the sound and saw a girl in tears. He ran over to her and put his arm around her shoulder. "Hey, what's wrong??" He wasn't amazing at comforting people but he couldn't stand to see someone crying like this.

Alyce was so obsorbed in her own thoughts she didn't even here it when someone walked up. She felt a hand around her shoulder followed by a male voice and she looked up. 'Great just great, I don't want anyone to see me like this.' She thought hysterically. She could see herself know her hair windblown from running her eyes red and puffy from crying. That was when she regestered the guy had asked her a question. "Oh um." She wondered if she should talk to this guy, she didn't even know his name. But he was nice enough to come and see if she was okay... "Well it turns out my life is one big mess and my parents have been feeding me lies my whole life..." Her voice was shaky. She felt so vulnerable, why did it have to be a guy? Kept running through her head.

((Sorry it's taken so long))

David's eyes widened when he listened to what the girl said. "They lied to you?! Why?! What did they say?!" Dave figured it had to be something bad seeing as she was in tears. "Do you want to come back to my place for a while?? Maybe have a drink and something to eat??" He wanted to try and cheer this girl up. He didn't know who she was but he thought that any girl deserved to be happy. As she wasn't happy then he would make her. That way she would feel the same as every other happy girl. "Either that or I could take you to some place that you know there's someone to look after you."

Alyce looked up at the guy. He seemed nice enough... She didn't think he was some wacko that would try and rape and kill her or anything. So she nodded, and took a shacky breathe to tell him, which is when a fresh stream of tears came out as she remembered. Plus she didn't know where to start. "I'll tell you when we get there I-It's kinda a long story." She hoped he could understand her through her hystarics. She opened her purse and found some tissues and tried to fix herself a little. She hated that she looked like this in front of a guy. It just wasn't her, she was the cool mysterious girl that drove the guys crazy.
((It's alright :) ))

Dave nodded and lifted the girl to her feet. He kept an arm wrapped around her at all times. David had a lot of experience with what girls were like when they were crying and he knew that most of them just wanted to curl up on the floor so he needed to make sure she stayed on her feet. Dave apparated the two of them to his house and sat her down on the sofa. "What drink do you want??" He guessed Sandra was out because he couldn't hear her or the baby. In a way, he wanted her to be here. She was so much better at comforting than he was.

Alyce felt him pull her up, and then they apparated them. She was glad that he could do it because that was the last thing her parents were gonna teach her. But some of the guys she had dated knew how. The next thing she knew she was on his sofa. She looked around, she had know idea where they were but he had a nice house. He asked her what she wanted, she really didn't want anything but she had been crying alot and she knew she needed something. "A water's fin-ne." She said as steadily as she could. She was really grateful at how nice this guy was being.

((Sorry this has taken so long to reply to :shy: ))

David nodded a what she said and then walked out to the kitchen. He filled a glass with water before carrying it back to the living room for Alyce. "Here you go." He sat next to her and handed her the glass then put his arm around her to keep her comforted. "You can say here as long as you want. I'm sure my wife wont mind. We have a spare room that you can sleep in." David knew how kind Sandra was and was sure that she'd be fine with Alyce saying in the house. It was a new friend for her at least.

Alyce gratefully took the water and looked at the man. "Thank you so much." She didn't want to go home with her parents gone and Ri never home anymore, she would just sit there and be somthered by her own thoughts. "But your sure your wife won't mind?" Her voice cracked and she winced. She took a gulp of her water. It felt amazing she hadn't realized that she had been so thirsty.

((sorry it took so long))
