The Unspeakable Mermaid

It was getting warm in the lake as Sara was swimming away from the other mermaids. She was quite bored and she wanted to go and look outside from this cool lake, planning to breathe some air if she wants to. Her wavy long blue hair was drifting as her blue eyes stared fixedly at the very top of the lake, wishing that she could met some student she can possibly befriend. Most of the other mermaids doesn't want to interact with humans because of what had just happened in Atlantic. They were almost been caught by people that were maybe muggles, chasing them with their ship wreck and planning to get one of them. Sara was one of them who had escaped luckily from a terrible danger and they planned to live in the lake in Hogwarts for their own safety. She's not like the other mermaids, she knew that not all humans were abusive. Like them, some humans were nice and always know the limits. She finally reached the top of the lake and her head sprouted in sight. But nobody had seen her. The lakefront was quite deserted and the students were too busy from playing. Yet she didn't lose hope, she thinks that it would be better not befriend with someone this time and watched them instead.

Athena had just finished playing gobstones and wizard chess with Rogan. She had defeated him several times, while he won only once. She was so happy that day, finding that she's really good at those games. Actually, she didn't expect it although that she's terrifically good with analysing and imagination. She had asked Rogan to go with her to the lakefront, however Rogan suddenly became all up with his tummy. He got a gas pain, so he decided to stay in the dormitory. Athena strolled alone out from the castle and finally reached the lakefront.

Athena expected that the lakefront would be quite crowded since it was weekend. The sun was smiling brightly, as she looked around and found that the lakefront was quite deserted. Most of the students here were third years and fifth years. First years were only few, playing wizard chess, hide-and-seek, and others were just chatting. Some of them preferred to be alone, spending their time from reading books. Athena continued to stroll, seeking some things that she could possibly discover out from this unexpected day. The wind swept over the place and she found a single tree stood by next to the lake. It was tall and the branch was pale brown. Its leaves were quite pale too, yet it doesn't looked like, it was withered. She set off towards the tree and sat, watching now the birds flying and crooning. However, her amazement didn't took so long. She ceased hailing the wonderful place in her mind. Her mind shifted to the library, wanting now to read some books this time. She stood up and heard a splash. Athena turned.

A blue haired and eyed girl was lurking on the lake. Athena clapped her mouth. At the very first thought it was a metamorphmagus because having a blue colored hair had never been so natural and genuine unless that they can transform their normal hair color into a different color. Or maybe the girl was a muggle who just dyed her hair with muggle brand hair coloring. Athena walked towards near to the lake and started to call the girl. "Hello! What are you doing there?" To her surprise, her question was a complete nonsense. Of course she's swimming. So she added a quick corrected question. "Oh, I mean why are you swimming alone?"​
