It was only now, two months after the trial, Larissa could face sending letters.
She had received one already from her step-father; she had received a few.
Larissa had spent hours slumped over his letters, tears welling up in her eyes.
But it only made her desire stronger- Her want to become what he had been was spiraling through her:
She would have her revenge.

Dear To Dad,
I'm sorry I haven't replied to your letters.. I miss you so much.
I just thought I'd let you know that I'm fine I'm filled with anger.
Not at you. At mum.
She betrayed you!
I would have killed her if I could!
I refuse to live with her anymore.. I'm going to find someone else to live with.. Perhaps Adrianne.. Although she has Lorin to take care of now and her house is tiny. Maybe Grandma.. Not Andros.
Do you know what he is now? He's an auror! A bleeding Auror!
He's talked to mum about taking me on and 'helping' me.
I don't need help! I need him to shut up and go away.

I heard there is a place especially for Hogwarts students to stay- A sort of half-way house.. Maybe I could stay there?
Do you think they'd let me?

I hope you're okay.
I couldn't cope like you have. You're brilliant.
I will come to visit in the holidays. Promise.

Larissa finally finished her letter, handing it to Ted.
"Be careful.." She said to the raven, stroking a finger across his feathers, "Tell him I'm coming to get him.."
And Larissa watched as the raven soared into the sky, the letter in its beak, eyes focussed on its destination.
