Life, for some, was miserable. JazzyMae Smile was definitely one of those 'some'. She was so loyal to her family, but now that they were broken apart and barely talking to one another. A part of her had been ripped apart, and she was having serious withdrawals. Anger. JazzyMae's anger was usually containable, but now she just had so many things bottle up inside of her. The only way she found easy for her to express those feelings was through anger and miniscule violence. Kennedy was not the violent one. He never was. The first act of violence in the house was commited by her. Kennedy had just been pissd that he got his face busted up by a girl. He and Klaus now could not try and confuse her with their 'Which twin is Who?' game. Kennedy had a scar, and, now, he was much shorter than Klaus. JazzyMae walked up to the sixth corridor with her arms crossed over her chest. She had just come from dinner, so the hallway was basically empty. She had only eaten a salad, banana and two plates of cajun rice. The fodd was good, but people had started to talk to her. She did not want to be talked to anyone. She found that all the happy people in her house were annoying. Now, she actually hated the Sorting Hat for placing her in such a bright house. It just made her want to scream.

JazzyMae took a seat on a bench. She did know if anyone was sitting next to her, but she did not care. She just wanted to start crying and bawling all over the ground. JazzyMae knew that would not solve anything. She just wanted someone to pay attention and try to help her. Damien always came to mind when she thought of someone helping her out, but she was not ready for a up close and personally emotional relationship with him. Guys tended to be passive when it came to emotions. She had first hand experience with that. Klaus was being the hugest jerk she had ever encountered. She sniffled in order to keep tears from falling. She felt so lonely.

Benjamin's constant curiosity to explore the upper floors at night pounded in his mind. He was no adventurer and certainly not a person who would feed his curiosity immediately. Benjamin took his precious time with most of the things he did and always reminded himself that it wouldn't bother him if he would take things slow. The only things that he payed more mind to were those concerning his family and some acquaintances that he thought were okay to be around with. Up to this point, his pace was slow and steady and he continuously glanced at all directions to see if anyone was following him. Everyone was at dinner - if not everyone, then perhaps most. The boy lazily dug both of his hands into the innermost part of the pockets that his jeans had and sighed; peacefulness and contentment lacing itself on it. He was not a guy to be bothered with and he thought that he made his desire clear when the gossip magazine published a story about him and Hariah. He did not want to become so noticed by the public and he never stopped craving for some isolation. But whenever he found a peaceful spot to place himself on, the silence was always interrupted. He disliked the voice of other people butting in his thoughts. Whenever he tried to stick a conversation up, an argument would always come in the end. When those scenes came in his trails of thoughts, he abruptly stopped walking and stared on a small opening that's scene led up to the starry night.

The stars were lovely to watch even if they looked motionless. Perhaps they did move as the earth rotated - but Benjamin only admired how they twinkled. He loved evenings especially when he knew that he had the freetime to stare at the stars openly without anybody catching him. The imagination of himself being caught with his mouth slightly opened horrified him too much. But whatever, he knew that there was no one along the corridor anyways. Most were at the Great Hall stuffing their mouths at the moment. The evening sky made him let go all the tension that he was having earlier. Not that he cared as much, but he was somewhat concerned for his grades. He was usually a doer of things that only interested him thus, his common laziness was evident.

He closed his eyes to let his thoughts settle into blankness when he heard a sniffle. Snapping them open, he scowled and felt his irritation level increase. He wrinkled his nose at the noise that interrupted the serene atmosphere, immediately disliking the person who did that. Benjamin was hidden in the shadows anyways, in the open space that gave him a view of the stars. He did not even have his wand lighted since there were lamps that gave off enough brightness. Benjamin ran both his hands through his hair and decided to investigate what brought that sound. He took a cautious step towards the center of the corridor and saw that there was a person seated. His lips still had that dark scowl as he approached her soundlessly. As he was close enough he said, "People nowadays are getting so dramatic." Benjamin commented dryly towards the girl and for once, he actually took in her appearance. He knew that she was in his year although he had no idea what her name was. But he was slightly sure that she was in Hufflepuff since he had seen her in some of his classes. The teenager walked over to the wall that was nearest to the bench and leaned on it with an air of arrogance falling on his aura.

JazzyMae just wanted to be left alone in silence. She may have not been very quiet, but only she was allowed to make noise during her silence's. That was just how it worked with JazzyMae. She wiped her face because she refused to let any tear fall from her eyes. She was supposed to be the strong one of the family. She held everyone together, and now she was just breaking down. No one knew how important her family had been to her. Now, her family was just broken. She could not find anything to hold close and important to her. There was only anger, and JazzyMae really did not want to punch anyone in the face. Growing up with two monster brothers made capable of a lot. She had heard someone speak to her, but she hid how surprised she was. She just laid her back against the wall and looked at the boy. Was he called her dramatic? JazzyMae rolled her eyes. At least she had not been featured in the RHI. She hoped it would stay that way as well

JazzyMae shrugged. "At least it shows that people have emotions. Constantly hiding them gets very....difficult." she said and looked at the ground. She did not want to make eye contact with the boy because she knew he was a Pureblood and a Slytherin. A very unsafe combination for a angry Hufflepuff like her. She did not want to do anything stupid. He was, a given, taller than her, and his Head of House was the creepiest man in the books. She certaintly hoped the boy would get away from her and not find her interesting.

The way she rolled her eyes soured the teenager's mood even more and he bit the inner flesh of his lip to keep him from snorting. Snorting because of disgust and amusement. But more of him sensed that he was more amused than disgusted. Picking on people wasn't a favorite pastime of his although he constantly found himself insulting someone. Mainly because he wanted to defend himself and just to let them get the hell away. This situation however was different from the rest. He did not find himself playing the part who simply wanted to be alone and isolated. Now he was the one trying to engage into a conversation that he partly knew would end up like those other disasters he was used to encounter. It wasn't a daily thing - more like a weekly occurrence ever since he saw his own face in a gossip magazine. God, that magazine still haunted him. Benjamin inhaled and sighed subtly as he processed the words she said. At most times, he usually walked without looking if he sensed that there was one who looked that they were crying or furious. Who was he to intrude? Their privacy was theirs and he normally ignored them and kept an arrogant chin high. However currently, he was willing to risk it. Whatever the outcome, he was almost sure to be not surprised about it.

Benjamin shifted his weight to one foot to the other. He raised an eyebrow and pierced his dark green eyes at her head since she seemed to be looking anywhere except at him. His reputation was perhaps bad in his year and some Gryffindors cast him evil looks whenever he passed them. Like hell they wouldn't. He thought he deserved it since he knew that those were the consequences of his previous actions. Hufflepuffs however just glanced at him blankly. He was positive - well quite positive, but not entirely certain - that they knew where he came from and what his family's beliefs are. And after this meeting, he was fairly doubtless that the Hufflepuffs would even look at him with malice. Ah then damn them. "Well constantly hiding them when you're in public isn't that difficult." Benjamin let his eyebrow drop and smirked evilly at her. Secretly, he wanted to see how she really looked like and how she would deal with him with straight eye contact. Also his imitation of some of her words would probably bug her and he internally smirked at that thought. Suddenly his mood fired into something wild and nasty and he was almost sure that the night would tire him out emotionally.

"So who's getting on the Hufflepuff's emotions? Some guy who broke your heart hmm?" With these words Benjamin turned seriously blank and just let his eyes show all the feelings he was having. They were a mix and he doubted that she could determine them so quickly. He was amused and at the same time serious. People would always think that he was a heartless bastard which he always took in as an insult. Who would even think of it as a hearty compliment? He did not want to get personal with her though. Fun in his own words was different and he thought that this, currently, was fun.

JazzyMae sighed. Why was he still here? She did not want to talk. She just wanted to sit alone in her misery. She could not even do that without getting interrupted. It was impossible. She crossed her arms over her chest and kept her eyes on her shoes. Her feet barely touched the ground. It was like they were hovering over the ground still. "Speak for yourself." she told him. JazzyMae found that hiding emotions in public was the hardest. For her it was. Slytherin's probably were good at putting up façades. Fake emotions were tough for JazzyMae. Most Hufflepufds were happy, but she was finding it hard to fit into that stereotype.

JazzyMae scoffed. First she would have to have a boyfriend in order to do that. She was sure Chase wished a guy broke her heart. What would drive the Hufflepuff insane would be seeing Damien date another girl. She would be vey unhappy with that. She had a feeling that would not happen though, so she was not too worried. "I'm sure a Slytherin like you would want to know." she said. She not yet was getting irritated. She was surprisingly calm. She hoped that the Slytherin would not take it up a notch.

Hufflepuffs almost deranged the teenager out of his sanity. Sometimes he just could not understand their concept of things. The sorting hat mentioned that they were loyal and was it their loyalty that just annoyed his guts out? Perhaps it was and the way the girl was dealing with him. Benjamin wanted to shake the sense out of her but he simply quirked his lip ever so softly. The way she crossed her arms at him was something he disliked and he sensed her sadness over the situation she was trying to handle - which he did not give a damn about. He wanted to see how Hufflepuffs would handle predicaments like these with their overfilled kindness that others believed to be true. The urge to snort was there (again), but he resisted to do such a rude thing in front of a girl, no less. "Whatever. I just find it disturbing to find random people wanting to cry along the hallway." Benjamin let his shoulders rise and fall in a very swift motion and looked smug as his eyes rested on the brunette. She was certainly in his year and he was positive that he had passed her although those times were ones when he was trying to figure out how he would settle in Hogwarts quietly without any professors (gossip magazines rather) trying to bother him. All of those were... simply nuisances to his life. He remembered a very distant memory of Vicky teasing that it added spice (he doubted that she knew the real meaning of that) and it was cool. Good for her, that kid did not even attend school yet.

Now was his turn to scoff. He did so and very exaggeratedly to emphasize how she was entirely wrong. People did not seriously assume that Slytherins were like that? Slytherins were always portrayed as those evil ones that again, was a hopelessly exaggerated thing. Benjamin was not evil - just seriously nasty, he had to admit. He was occasionally like that but in all fairness, Benjamin was trying to make an effort to not make people think of him as one heartless person. Hadn't they realized that he had his personal feelings too? And again, tonight, it was him who was the bad guy. And yes he knew that but he didn't make any move to say sorry and leave the Hufflepuff alone. "Merlin no," He slightly sneered at her and let a little venom drop but that was about it. "Keep your little heartbreaks to yourself. Actually, I was trying engage myself into a little conversation." Technically speaking, he was telling the truth. But he did not want to go in the specifics of why he wanted to member himself into a casual discussion. Truthfully, he was irked on how her sniffles interrupted his peaceful thought and how he got a little playful tonight - playfully bad which included mocking and shoving up a few insults. Whatever now, perhaps he ought to try again or just find another quiet spot for himself.

"So I suppose I'll just watch and let you deal with it miserably, don't you think? Great idea in my very frank opinion." Benjamin muttered at her with a speck of malice. Honestly, he did not intend to hurt her in any way. Although a small part of him frowned at his words with disappointment. Benjamin's infamous short temper was calm for now but it had gotten low in the past few seconds. He unfolded his arms and took a step backwards casually. Again, he pierced his dark green eyes on whatever body part was closest to her eyes. Direct eye contact would possibly make her angry at him and his subconscious was warning him to stay back. He knew better than to underestimate a Hufflepuff. She could always hex his bum for being such a "jerk" to her. Instinctively, he felt for his wand that was in the back pocket of his jeans as he constantly reminded himself not to even tempt her to draw her wand out. Benjamin even managed to joke mentally, "If she hexes me, I'll make sure to scream bloody murder." That, of course, wasn't something he would firstly do. He tried to remain impassive but it was unsuccessful. Instead, he mirrored an innocent stare at her and shrugged, feigning off something that she thought he would know.

JazzyMae did not understand how students in Slytherin though. She did not know how emotions were something so easy for them. Hiding them was easy at least. Two years ago she had been all smiles, and she had a minimal amount of problems. It was just so frustrating. JazzyMae held back he urge to sigh. She did not understand how she got this way, but she just wanted out of it. If only it weren't so late, she would be out in the lake swimming off all of her frustrations. She looked at the Slytherin. She tried no to glare, but she failed. She was never this rude to people, but he was a Slytherin. He probably was used to it, right? "Have you be heard of selective hearing? You could have just let me cry!" she raised her voice at him. Soon after she regretted yelling at him. She looked back down at her feet. More students were starting to enter the corridor, so she trie to cool herself off. She really did not want to make a scene. She felt like walking away at the moment.

JazzyMae knew that not all Slytherins were bad. Benjamin was her first Slytherin encounter. He should feel lucky. He practically had his house's pride riding on his shoulders. She was sure the boy's pride was not worth much though. She rolled her eyes. "Please. Is that how you start a conversation? Pathetic." she muttered. A Hufflepuff like her would know how to start a conversation. She was not the nicest girl anymore, but she knew how to properly start a conversation with someone.

She did not know why she did it, but JazzyMae stood up and faced the Slytherin. She felt he had some sort of problem going on. She was sure he would laugh at her height of five feet. She had become more comfortable with her height, so it did not really matter to her. She saw him feel for something. A wand, maybe? She had her wand with her, but casting spells wasn't really her thing. She liked using her fists. JazzyMae smirked and placed and hand on her hip. "Looking for something?" she withheld a giggle from escaping her lips.

The holes that she was trying to pierce onto his head naturally increased as her face hardened into a glare. Benjamin immediately recognized the familiar lines and very faint wrinkles whenever a person was trying to put a point into something. He did that most of the time whenever he was at home and when his father stressed a topic about his future life that he was too tired to hear. He was a very young teen and he doubted himself to be that mature. The boy was immature when it came to his feelings and he would consider himself first rather than thinking of the rest. Based on facts, most girls mentally matured faster than boys, didn't they? Benjamin knew that he was acting improperly but his idea of easy fun was picking on other's weaknesses in which he would casually observe whenever he would have the time to. He breathed in and out before he replied to her raised voice. "Then cry for all I care." He challenged her to let a tear fall from those orbs. His lips curved into a lazy yet subtle smirk as he thought of her surname. The usage of surnames of all people helped him to keep track of who they were. Gladly, he wasn't lazy enough to be antisocial towards the people in his year. "And oh the irony. For a girl whose last name is Smile, she seems to be the Hufflepuff who never stops sulking." Benjamin shifted his weight once more and bit the inner flesh of his lower lip with his front teeth painfully. That kind of mechanism really stopped him from insulting her further. Trouble was surely waiting to bite him painfully.

Ah well, she did not get his vivid sarcasm. Never mind that, he would gladly return the verbal sparring they were currently having. He thought how lame his evening would be if it weren't for her but his mind also registered where the turn of events this evening would lead him to. Back to his four-poster bed back at the common room was what he wished for after this with a satisfactory feeling swelling underneath his chest. Benjamin shook his head very subtly and thought of how he would really start a sincere discussion. Not like this obviously but maybe he would decently try to ask what he or she is doing even if the answer was very obvious. Returning back to the present was what he did and he sucked in a small amount of oxygen. "Is that how you attract attention? Now that is pathetic." Again, he imitated the latter of her choice of words. He was referring to how she would avoid society (if ever she did that) and let them wonder where the hell she was. Never did he try to avoid the people whenever something bad was happening. Instead, he went outdoors most of the time. "So weak," He thought disappointingly.

A slow shake of his head was the very response to her question that should have been accompanied with a girly giggle. Damn those giggles. It annoyed the sanity out of his brain and he tried to keep his mind focused. The minor noises that jumped in - like some hoots and faint laughter - sometimes directed his attention away from what he was supposed to be focusing on. "Trying to change the subject hm?" His hand shied away from the back pocket that bore his Birch wand. For a Slytherin, he was cautious to protect himself if ever magic would be involved. He wasn't thrilled that he was arguing with a Hufflepuff now - since he was used to get heated discussions with Gryffindors. The teenager felt another lazy smirk spread on his young features slowly. "So will you let me watch or will you just talk nonsense?" Of course he was joking, but his tone was curt and nothing funny. He lifted his fingertips a few inches away from his charming features. As arrogant as he currently was, Benjamin examined the invisible dirt on his nails. He sighed and looked at her as if she was a thing instead of a person. After all, she wasn't a pureblood anyways. He lifted his dark green eyes to hers, to look as if he was criticizing her. Benjamin sighed and said perhaps one of the most arrogant things he had ever said in his life.

"You bore me."

JazzyMae shook her head. "No thanks. It is too crowded for me to cry now." she told him. She did not want to give Chase the satisfaction of watching her cry. She did not know if it was some sort of fetish that he had. She would not be surprised if there were people who smiled and got off on people's tears. It was sick. JazzyMae did not want to think about it anymore. It would only make her want to puke. JazzyMae shrugged. "So what if I sulk all the time? At least I am not hiding behind my blood status to make myself feel important." she retorted. She looked over to Chase. He looked like he was restraining himself. "Anything else you want to say, Chase?" she asked and waited for more insults to come at her. She was sure he had more waiting to come out of his mouth. Why wouldn't he? She was not good at insulting people, and Annalie had proved that. She had humiliated her more than ever. She had never felt so useless until she had met Annalie. A girl who had no mercy for anyone and was absolutely ruthless. She thought everyone but herself was worthless. Well, she was more worthless than she realized.

"Yeah, I guess it is, isn't it?" she said. She had not came her to cry, but it just ended up that way. Chase was trying to use that against her. He had no idea what was going on in her life, and she had not intentions of telling him. A spoiled brat like him would not understand anything her and her family went through. He stood behind his pureblood status so he could look down on others, and she hated that. Arrogance was JazzyMae's biggest pet peeve, and Chase sweated it and breathed it. She just wanted to maim him. She was not strong enough in magic to do so though. But, she could easily punch him in the face and kick him in his knees. She could easily give him broken bones or a scar. She had done it to her brother. How was he any different?

Of course he was not searching for something. He was just preparing himself for attack, which was good. It would not be very helpful though. Gryffindors were more hot headed than Hufflepuffs were. No one ever knew when a Hufflepuff would attack. At least not thins Hufflepuff. She was about ready to break Chase's nose. JazzyMae shook her head. "No. You just look a little scared." she said honestly. JazzyMae looked at the Slytherin with a frown. "Don't be a creep." she told him simply. Even if he was not serious about watching her. He sounded like a perverted creep. He probably was in his spare time. How come there were such people in a school like this? Sure it was nothing like Durmstrang or Beauxbatons, but still. It was not like he was interested in hearing about her heartbreaks. Why would he? He shouldn't be interested in hearing them anyways. Chase started to admire his fingernails. Finally. She was not interesting anymore. JazzyMae was getting ready to turn around and walk away, but Chase had to let a bad choice of words leave his mouth. She turned back around and looked Chase straight in the eye. She brought her right arm back and socked him right in the nose. She then lifted her foot and kicked him in his left knee. "Then you should have bothered someone else, jerk!" she screamed at him. She kept her fist balled at her sides. She had definitely caused a scene now.

Sure it was crowded. At least they were the only ones in the hall and he thought that what they were talking about would stay here and be left there forever. Other people who be involve would perhaps put the blame on him anyways. Like he was not used to those accusations. Trouble followed him, but he was certain that he was the one in the first place to attract trouble. Though he did not dare admit that aloud. Embarrassing as it was, he tried to keep it to himself in the deepest part of his conscience. He looked at her amusingly, as if a thought just came to him. He was no intelligent kid who could get an Outstanding in his marks but he was pretty fine when it came to defending his blood. All the pureblood nonsense were still alive nowadays, but most tended to ignore it. His lips tugged itself amusingly and Benjamin nodded slowly, understanding her words. "You're just another person who's crying her guts out for people to pity her." Her tsk'd disappointingly at her actions. He unintelligibly doubted that his additional words would blow her up. The girl was brave anyways although the fact that she was a Hufflepuff annoyed him out. The other girl, Ai Edogawa, was someone he wanted to get vengeance onto. Such a jerk she was too, even if she was that young.

A sudden wave of embarrassment caught Benjamin's arrogant facade and his feelings was reduced to awkwardness. The teenage Slytherin did not mean it that way. At first he looked at her oddly and did not understand why would she even talk to him that way. Calling him a creep for watching her cry was something he thought about, but he felt that she meant it in another way. When he realized it, he felt his body heat increase. His attraction towards girls weren't really stable yet, since he did not feel that his brain could handle the hold concept of "love, crushes, flings" and the like. "Whoa wait, you thought wrongly." Now that Smile got on his humble side, she might as well capture and feel the moment. No way in Merlin's house would he even think of those stuff in any case. He was only fourteen and for him those stuff were still not understandable.

Pain flooded his senses and the sensation was a lot different than he had experienced. The nails that were on the hand he was observing tried to shield himself away from the punch he received, but he knew he was late. He felt the 'crack' of his nose evident in the air and he supposed she heard it too. He knew a small portion of the bone that structured his nose broke, due to the violent reaction of the girl. No matter how pretty she may be, Benjamin felt that he would start hating her from this day on. Another sensation of pain kicked in from his shin and he staggered uneasily backward and his hand covered the crimson liquid pouring out from it. "Ah f***." He muttered under his breath, and he drew his green eyes shut and tried to let the pain pass. But unfortunately, he knew that her blow was pretty hard. For a small one like her, she reacted pretty violently. Well he couldn't blame her anyways. He knew that a bruise would form there later on, and he was aware that the pain that was on his knee and nose made him bite his lip to refrain himself from screaming in agony. "Damn you Smile." He commented and he put his right hand just below his nostrils to catch the crimson coloured blood. His left hand however rubbed the lower part of his thigh, just above the part where she kicked him. If he rubbed directly on the spot where she kicked him, he knew he was going to scream f***ing hard. He staggered again backward, and finally used his right hand to support himself on the wall whilst his left hand did the job of catching the pure, magical blood pouring out from him.

Professor Malachy Scythe was roaming the sixth corridor happily. So far, the professor had not had to take points from any of the students. Mostly, the other professors did that. Malachy himself did not even know how to react if he saw some kids causing trouble. He was just a good boy, and he always felt bad for punishing kids. That was what made him weak as a professor. Malachy would try his hardest though. He was sure his co-workers would be proud of him for finally punishing a student. He really did not like giving detention though. He had never got detention in his life. He was good muggleborn. His family had told him to behave whenever he went off to school, and he had listened. He should have went to Hogwarts Scotland. Then he would officially know if he was meant to be a Hufflepuff because he just hated punishing people. It was not in his nature.

Malachy saw a crowd of students and he heard yelling. Good God. It was just his luck. He picked up his pace and saw a student bleeding from his nose and another student looking about ready to do some more damage. First he had to get rid of the crowd. He pulled out his wand. "I know his looks very interesting students, but I think it is about time you all started to head to your dorms." he said with authority. Malachy heard a few groans and mumbles, but the crowd of students left quickly. He walked over to the two students. "I would like a very quick explanation of why Mr. Chase is bleeding." he told Smile sternly. It was just his luck. He had to come across a Hufflepuff and a Slytherin. Kalif Styx scared him to he point where he would hide if he ever saw him. Malachy rolled his eyes and sighed. He looked over to Chase and then back at Smile. What could he possibly have done to make a Hufflepuff angry?

JazzyMae chuckled. Why was he being such a baby? She was sure it was an easy fix. Chase needed to man up. At least he did not have any scars on him. "You're such a baby." she spat at him. She folded her arms over her chest. She did not know why she got angry so easily. It was not normal. If she was born a veela, she would turn into a harpie every time someone insulted her or even just interrupted her while she was talking. She was just easily angered. Magic did not give her the satisfaction she got when she hit people. Watching Chase catch his blood as if it was something precious made her scoff. What a loser.

J.M. did not really react when she heard the voice of a professor. She had a good reason for punching him. He was being a perverted creep. Of course he was lying when he said he did not mean it that way. He would have gotten so startled if he had been innocent. It was prove he was a total pervert. "Chase came over here bothering me. He said he wanted to watch me cry, so I punched him! Don't you think wanting to watch someone cry is kind of perverted?!" she exclaimed to Professor Scythe. She stepped behind the professor so she could be away from Chase. He was definitely unsafe for a girl like her.

The pain can be handled, but Benjamin was not so used for people to randomly break his nose up. He glared at the Hufflepuff and felt the crimson liquid trickle down his nose to his lip. He hated it when he bled although he had no fear for blood itself. He feared what would happen to his nose though. Benjamin was no vain boy, although he occasionally cared as to what his appearance would be in public. Never would he show up with his eyes slightly covered with sleep. Now, he hoped that the nurse in the Hospital Wing would do a flawless job to heal his nose. His glare softened when he heard groans from another part of the hallway. His green eyes turned towards the direction a man ushering the students to go back to their dorm. The students looked about their age and they had interested and curious expression plastered on their faces which Benjamin wanted to rip off from them. Once they went off, he realized that it was Professor Scythe. Scythe was the guy who he thought was too casual around students. Not that Benjamin disliked him, he only found the Charms professor a little too irritating.

Hearing his own surname, Benjamin perked up a little and whipped the blood on his fingers on his shirt. He did not mind, it was his own blood anyways. Benjamin felt embarrassed that a professor caught him bleeding although his eyes literally bulged when he heard those words of Smile. "I was sarcastic and it was rhetorical. Merlin's beard Smile, I was just telling you to compose yourself." Truthfully, Benjamin uttered whilst his eyes were focusing on the liquid that was now on the creamy coloured skin that was covering his hands. He groaned inwardly, and cursed the brunette in his mind. He knew that this night might lead to detention which made him wince a little at the thought of his Head of House. Now that man did intimidate him and Benjamin wished that he wouldn't come across him tonight. But even if he was telling the truth, he had no idea if Scythe was going to believe him. He had no clue if the Charms professor knew about his constant facade. And if he did, he was quite certain that he would see himself later in his Head of House's office.

Malachy was irritated. How old were they, four? He clapped his hands together to silence them both. "Okay. Here is what I am going to do. First, I am taking 20 points from both of you. Next, unfortunately, I am going to have to escort you both to your head of houses. I do not think either of them will be happy to hear about this." he told them. He took another look at Chase. Malachy was no nurse, so he guessed Chase would have to go to the Hospital wing. He did not want the boy's nose to get damaged any further. "I guess we should all go the Hospital wing first. I don't want there to be any permanent damage to Mr. Chase's nose." he said and gestured for the students to follow him. Smile must have hit him hard for his nose to be bleeding like that. He never knew a girl could punch so hard. He had never gotten punched by one, so he would not know. He always tried to treat students like adults until they proved otherwise, and Smile and Chase definitely had proven they needed to be treated like children. Malachy was not too fond of having to walk the students to their Heads, especially Chase, but he had to. Even if he did not like it or want to.
