Wearing a black shirt and jeans, the eleven-year-old Troxa Julian Matthias walked around Brightstone after the purchase of his wand. He was quite excited to have his first wand, and he was waving it around creating emerald green sparks, which was actually the house he was sorted into, Slytherin. He had no idea what Slytherin meant, but he did not really care either. He was really loving the feeling of this wand, it was like an extension of himself. His amber eyes washed over the oak. The core or essence or whatever was going inside of the oak. He did not care much. He glanced down and put his wand in a holder attached to his belt loop. Troxa hoped that things would get better. He was dreading his schooling, and Tristane would not help him. He did not think that his older brother would help him. Would his arrogant older brother help him? Then again, why in the world would he need help? He was Troxa Julian Matthias, and he was positive that he could take on things on his own. Tristane was arrogant, but nothing like his little brother. Troxa almost missed his older sister, Nadine and the rest of them, but muggle lovers they were.

Sitting down on a bench, he spread his legs out a bit, and rested his elbows on his jeans. He propped his head on his hands, and he stared at everyone passing by in Brightstone Village. He wanted some company, being new and also from Russia, it was hard to understand English all the time. Will people make fun of my accent? Will they know if I insult them in Russian? thought the young Slytherin in his mind. Troxa raised his amber eyes up a bit, and then he saw a beautiful blond girl about the age of fourteen that he could not help checking out as she passed. Wow, he hoped that he saw her again in school. Had no idea what house she would be in either. Troxa smirked a bit and he laughed casually, however he did not say a word. Little did he know, he was going to make another friend here in just a moment. In a place like this, and his good looks, as well as his unusual eye color, he was bound to get some attention from someone. Troxa enjoyed attention, and he loved to be in the center of it as well.

After a long day of shopping, haggling, and carrying bags, Auden Lefevre was finally finished with her school shopping. Actually she had finished the majority of her shopping a few days ago for things like her Cauldron and stuff. But today she went to town by herself and purchased the last few things she wanted or needed. It was a lot easier to only be carrying one small bad as opposed to yesterday when she had a heavy Cauldron and an owl cage to deal with. Her father wasn't a big fan of shopping or even pretending to like shopping so whenever it came to shopping he usually just gave Auden some money, dropped her off in town and let her spend her small fortune on whatever she wanted. Her father gave her whatever she wanted and whether that being money, trips, possessions, she got it as soon as she wanted it. But he had a hard time spending time with her. Auden was spoiled with everything but her own father's attention. And even though she had all the things every child her age could want, she didn't get the attention she wanted. Her father was a workaholic and a very shifty business man. Whenever Auden described him to someone they always looked as if they immediately knew that he never had any time for her. Apparently a lot of people like him have been known to have less time for family then they did for their job. And now Auden was going off to school. That meant even less to spend with her father and she wasn't sure if he even realized that. Realized that his last couple of weeks with his daughter were about to end and then he'd spend months without seeing her. He probably didn't notice, he never did.

"Thank you." Auden replied softly as she took the banana smoothie from the street vendor and handed over some Galleons. All that shopping and haggling made her extremely thirsty and not to mention that she found herself having a huge banana craving. She gave the man a soft smile then turned away with a grossed out look swimming in her bright blue eyes. Was it just her or was that man getting really friend with her? Ugh old men were so gross! Auden was at the age where she thought all little boys were kind of gross, and mean, and stupid. Some of her friends back home always thought they were so cute and that when they teased you it meant that they liked you. But Auden thought way differently than they did. She thought boys were weird and they teased girls because they were enormous jerks that liked doing so. She felt that she was so much better off avoiding them and their weird bullying tactics. Bringing the straw up to her mouth, Auden began to sip at her smoothie as one of her fingers absently entangled itself within one of the few brown streaks she had layered underneath her platinum blonde hair. The petite girl walked down the street, soft smile on her face, and her eyes bright and sparkly. It was a good day today. Now all she had left to do before school started was find a friend. Which shouldn't be hard, there was kids all over the place here. Auden paused when she felt something wet and cold touch her leg. She was about to jump back when she saw that it was only a Labrador puppy. "Awh! What a cute puppy!" She cooed as she bent down to put the puppy. Auden loved animals, especially baby animals! Too bad her father didn't like dogs. He would never let her have one and she was pretty sure Hogwarts wouldn't either. At least she had her owl, Georgia. Once the puppy had lost interest in her, Auden pick her shopping bag up again and walked off, continuing to sip her smoothie as she did so.

After being raised by a family with mostly males that take the lead, Troxa did not have much socializing with females, but he did not know the other female that passed him also a blonde but this one had blue eyes. She looked amazingly like the other hot one. Twins? Troxa wouldn't mind getting onto them, but he was not one to just holler out cat calls either. His amber eyes were focused on those two girls for the time being seeing that they were pretty hot, and Troxa was just getting into the girls, seeing them as something more than cootie factors. Troxa continued to sit there and he then played with his wand, rather enjoying the whole sparks that he could do. Then again, he knew like, no spells at all, and he could not do magic outside of school. But did that apply right now? Before school really began? He thought that it did so he would not try the Lumos spell. Not that it would do any good out here in the sun. He just wanted to get ahead of the other first years. Could one really blame him? Troxa glanced up to see his pet flying above, and then come down and land on his leg. His pet was not an owl, but a Raven, and not just any raven either, this one was a female, and she was white. Her eyes were amber too, and it really matched with Troxa's. He had named her Angel, because she seemed like one anyway. An angel, and soon he would train her to do so many awesome things for him! But he would have to work with her because she seemed rather intelligent right now anyway. Troxa saw that Angel was nipped on his fingers affectionately, but she was keeping her eyes on this puppy, something that he did not think that she liked very much.

Angel opened and flapped her wings dangerously, but she did not do anything just yet. Troxa noticed a blonde that seemed fascinated with the puppy. Troxa had a thing for animals, not really as much as some would think. They seemed to flock to him, and he did not really care. Angel was the only pet in his life anyway. Troxa thought that the girl was cute, and well, he had a soft spot for blonde creatures, even Angel had white feathers. Troxa wondered if he should speak to her, because she seemed like she would know about Hogwarts. Heck, she might be a first year like himself! It would be awesome to make a few friends. Thing was, could she be a mudblood? Well, he did not know. Troxa glanced down at Angel to ensure that he did not stare at the girl for too long because that was just creepy! What kid did that anyway, stare at someone for so long they turn around and you have to look away? Troxa never did anything like that and he never would either. Troxa decided to catch her attention, and he waved one of his arms in a subtle motion before he called out, "Hey! Do you have a pet yet for Hogwarts?" Troxa was really outgoing in a cool motion, and he stroked Angel whom was watching a bug walk on the ground. Angel did love to eat bugs, and Troxa would never know what was up with birds. He loved his little one though because she was just the perfect pet in his eyes. Troxa glanced down with his unique amber eyes to see his Angel jump from his legs to tackle the bug that was crawling on the ground for a snack. He did not think that the raven food was tasty enough for her. So maybe he could feed her some scraps or something once he got to Hogwarts officially. Right now, he just hoped that the girl talked to him, because he wanted to make friends, even pretty ones.

Auden paused when she saw a boy wave one of his arms in a subtle motion to get someone's attention, then he called out asking if she had a pet for Hogwarts yet. Auden looked around quickly before she pointed a finger at herself and mouthed 'me?'. For all she knew he could have talking to someone behind her or something. When it was confirmed that he was talking to her she didn't hesitate to walk over to where he was sitting on a bench along with some strangely colored bird. Auden had never seen him before bot even at the sorting Ceremony thing so she wondered if he was from Hogwarts too or if he just guessed. "Well I have an Owl. If that's what you mean by pets." Auden told him softly, her French accent mixing a little with her words but not enough to where it was hard to understand her and such. Her blue eyes drifted down and she noticed that he wasn't particularly ugly for a boy, even if boys weren't really that cute to her, but he also looked as if he had a mean streak in him somewhere. So Auden was cautious about being friendly with him. If she let her guard down he might decide to be really mean to her and throw dirt in her hair or something. Sure it sounded childish but it honestly happened a couple of weeks before Auden got her acceptance letter to Hogwarts. It was so gross and mean, Auden thought she was never going to get her poor hair clean. Even the most expensive shampoo she had didn't seem to help keep her hair shiny and soft like it usually was. It was upsetting and she never wanted it to happen again. Auden sort of wished she had brought Georgia here but she was worried the owl would fly away and she would never see her again. Auden was never that brilliant with birds and such. "Is that your bird?" Auden pointed to the Raven. To her stupidity she didn't really know it was a Raven because she had never seen one that color before. So she just called it a bird. It was awful loud but Auden didn't mind, she like animals even if they were loud. Hopefully that boy didn't mind that she was over here asking stupid questions. Then again he called her over here pretty much so she didn't think he had a lot of room to complain.

"How did you know that I am going to Hogwarts?" Auden asked as she cocked her head to the side and eyed the boy carefully. Right now she looked so innocent and curious that it would be hard for anyone to believe that she came from a really bad family. Then again her dad didn't really take her around the influence of those who were bad. He said it was dangerous to be around Danielle when she was in a bad mood and from the way that her father avoided the woman Auden was left to assume that she was in a bad mood a lot of the time. Oh well it was probably best in that case that her case that she didn't meet the woman. She sounded awful scary enough through stories so she probably was even worse in real life. Auden stared at the bench for a moment. Should she sit down or should she wait for him to tell her it was alright to sit down. Maybe he could be a friend. If he wasn't going to throw dirt in her hair and stuff.
