The Green, Green, glow of home

Rebecca Koshiba sighed as she sat on the chair in the Library stroking her kittens fur. Neko was so calm and kind that sometimes Rebecca forgot that she was an animal and not a person. She had to admit that she would like to be able to one day become an animal, to be an animagus would be the most amazing feeling, she knew this to be true. She looked around the library and curled herself further into the chair. She just did not like crowds, there were too many people here now. When she had first got here, here had been no one in the library, but after a couple of hours reading some History books, she had found the Library full of people she did not know and would not talk too and no way to leave. She pursed her lips and hugged Neko to her. This was the only thing giving her comfort. She wished she would know some-one. Maybe Paige would find that she had been gone for a few hours and come rescue her from the people and their repeated attempts to talk to her. She just did not want to talk today. After all the talking she had done the last couple of days, she felt shyer then ever. So today, she had just wanted to stay some where quiet. Unfortunately, she had fallen into the thought that she would find her refuge here. It appeared that she had thought wrong. She sighed. Why were so many people trying to talk to her?

[Paige Rivers]

Paige was looking at her own cat, Percy was purring on her lap and looked like a big black fur ball. She had not seen Bex for a while and was thinking about places where she could have gotten of to. Paige decided to let Bex choose her own paths and to focus on her own, she stepped out of the Common Room, left Percy behind, but she was that he would follow her to the Library. Paige wanted to borrow a book about Defence against the Dark Arts, so she could make better homework. She walked out of the dungeons onto the Giant Staircase and ended up on the Fourth Floor corridor, where the library was placed. She brushed over her robes and tucked a stranded hair back in her side-ways ponytail. The library was very crowded this evening and Paige almost thought of getting the book and walking away, but something wont let her, she took the book out of a bookcase and walked to quiet spot in the library to read it. Until she could make out a familiar face hidden behind a small kitten named Neko. Paige looked behind her and saw Percy walking behind her, she scooped him from the floor and quietly looked at Bex. She took a chair and sat next to Bex, not talking just watching if Bex wanted to talk really. ''Hello'' Paige said softly with a friendly tone in her voice, she was quiet after that and began reading the big book.
