The forest it is

The Brightstone Village was alive, Maybelle was amazed looking at these little kids buying their school supplies. There were so many of them that if you looked at them from a 10 story building, they looked like small ants. Belle manage to sit on a bench and stared at the crowds. There were some of them who were fighting and some who got along, this reminded her of her twin sister Annabelle and her younger brother Noah. Surprisingly Anna was still alive but Belle knew nothing about Noah, what she knew was that he died in the fire along with her parents. But he could be alive since Belle had never seen his grave but she had seen her parents grave which was located in France.

Sadly, it was going to be full moon, Belle had to hide in the forest and it was pretty cold since it was autumn. The sky was darker, Belle ran toward the forest nearby and walk a little deeper. The blue eyed girl didn't want anyone to know that she was a werewolf, it was a curse after all and no one had to know. She pulled her coat closer to her as she walk deep in the forest, it was dangerous to be in the forest all alone but after all she was going to be transform into a werewolf so why stick around other people and scare them away? The brown haired girl saw a big rock in front of her, she walk to it and sat on it as she took a deep breath and closed her eyes. In two hours, she was going to be a beast, the girl exhale and heard footstep. She couldn't care, she was too scared and what she did was keep quiet and sit still.

Nathan had a very busy day and decided to go for a walk. He passed the busy street of Brightstone and saw a girl that walking alone to the forest. He was curious about the forest that might get the girl's interest. He followed the girl since the forest wasn't safe for an alone girl to wander. He don't even know the girl but he doesn't care. All he wanted is to follow the girl and to make sure she was safe. But he abruptly stop when he thought that the girl may want to be alone and maybe she would accuse him being a stalker or something but he didn't care. He continued to walked passed the big trees and grassy land. It is almost dark but he could see his way. He wondered if where is the girl and thought about her safety since it's already dark, the forest is not safe for anyone, even him. He took a deep breath and continued walking desperately to find the unknown girl. He heard footsteps not far from where he stood and followed the sounds. He got a little nervous and let it passed when he saw the girl sitting on a rock.

"Hey, I'm not a stalker or anything I just want to take you away from this forest 'cause it's dark and it's not safe for you to be here. Come I'll take you home," he said not bothering to introduced himself 'cause he just wanted to make the girl safe and out of the already dark forest.

Maybelle was surprised that someone came to her and asked her to come home. Even though she wanted to do that, she couldn't, she didn't want to hurt anyone and she didn't want to reveal herself to anyone that she was a werewolf. "Ummm it's okay... I'm studying about these plants, I've heard that there's this one muggle flower that only bloom at night" She lied hoping that it made sense. Belle wanted to run away but she knew that she wasn't as fast as other people especially guys. The blue eyed girl tried to make up other excuse but she couldn't find any, what else except she was a werewolf? But she was too scared of telling this man that she was one. "I know the way out and I've been here a lot, so maybe it's not safe for you" She said with a smile, hoping that she would leave her alone. The girl didn't want anyone to find out of her curse. It was too embarrassing and it reminded her of her past.

Nathan wasn't convinced with the girl's reason. No matter what she'll say, He will not leave her alone especially during the night. "SO, if you wanted to study some plants,I'll wait for you. Really, don't push me away. I don't care if you want to be alone,it's just .. look around. Isn't it scary?" he said, a little harsh but didn't meant to offend the girl. "no offense?" he said." If you want to study this whatever plant, would you please do it during daytime? 'cause my conscience can't handle to leave you alone." he begged. Sub-consciously,he hold the girl's hand and pulled her slightly from her sit. When he realized what he just did,he dropped the girl's hand and looked down, "sorry.I'm just desperate to take you home. " he apologized.

Maybelle was frustrated that he didn't want to leave. She didn't know him and he was a stranger to her and she was a stranger to him too. She didn't know what motivate him to stay with her in the forest. "But... But... Bbbut... My father is going to kill me! If he sees me with another guy. He'll be suspicious and start yelling at me. He wont listen to any of my excuse. He'll be in any minute." Belle lied hoping that he would understand her. Belle didn't have a father, she was an orphan just like her twin sister and younger brother. Another plan came up to her mind, telling him that she was a werewolf and ran away? "Plus, you don't want to see me turning into a beast, right?" She looked down and ran deeper to the forest hoping that he wont run after her. But if he did then he would caught her, since Belle didn't have the strength to run, at least not t hi day. She was way too tired to do that.

Nathan's eyes widened he don't believe the girl's alibi. If her father knew where she was going, why would she be allowed considering that it was a dangerous place, he thought. " If you're father knows where you were, I would wait for him. To be safe, I'll hide when he comes" he said with dignity. He looked at the girl and confused flash on his face. A beast ? he thought. He was stuck on his feet when the girl ran. He didn't know if he should ran and follow the girl or let her have her unreasonable privacy. Unconsciously, he ran and followed the girl. He shouted after her and ran as fast as he can. When she was near him, he grabbed her hands and turned her around facing him" you could trust me," he simply said looking directly on her eyes.

The forest was dark, usually Belle could see what was in front of her. The girl slowed down after noticing that there was a huge tree in front of her. Right after that, the man caught her and forced her to look at him telling her that she could trust him. She stopped as she look at her feet, frowning. Perhaps she could trust him? "I'm... One of those unlucky wizards that have to hide every full moon" She said weakly, scared of the fact that she was a werewolf. "Why do you follow me? Why do you wanna know why I'm here?" Belle didn't mean to be rude but she was confused no one had ever followed her to the forest and force her to go back. She wanted to hide the truth but she couldn't, sooner or later he would know anyway so the sooner the better.

Nathan felt sympathy toward the girl. He knew that there was something the girl was trying to hide but he wanted to break that privacy that he knew the girl deserved but he don't want the girl to be alone with the secret. He wanted her to trust him and have someone to talk to. As the girl said that she have to hide every full moon,he understood at once that she was a ... werewolf. He was still holding the girl's hand. It was dangerous to be near her when she phase. She was dangerous and he knew it but he don't want to run, he wanted to stay but knew it was impossible. The girl asked him why did he followed her. At that moment he let go of her hand and looked down. "honestly I don't know it either maybe I just feel protective toward you" it was true and thought of her sister. He felt that way toward her either but it was different considering that the girl wasn't his sister. "So you're a werewolf?" he said. The sadness on his voice was visible. he don't now what to do. He can't do anything. "I know it's dangerous to be near you when you change, so i'll go first. But Do you want to talk about it tomorrow? Should I wait here?" he asked.

It was odd that Belle felt comfortable around this man even though she knew nothing about him. But his words were comforting, all these days she had to protect herself without anyone helping her so having a stranger protecting her was odd for her, she wasn't used to it but she secretly like it. "Thanks for coming to the forest with me" the blue eyed girl smiled. "Don't worry, I still got a couple of hours. Do you know your way back?" She asked, they were deep in the forest and it was going to be dark soon. The forest could be dangerous for those who knew nothing about it. "Come on, I'll walk you there" She paused feeling awkward for not knowing his name. "I'm Maybelle by the way, you can call me Belle, I'm sorry if I cause you any trouble" She said looking at her right and left trying to see if her sister was watching, she knew that if Annabelle was there, she was going to hurt him or even her.

Nathan was relieved that the atmosphere around him was calm. "I'm Nathan." he said. He don't know why he is feeling a little shy.He don't want to leave the girl but he knew that it would be dangerous. It's a bit comforting when he knew that he'll see her tomorrow. "No. I want to say sorry if I pushed you too far" he said and looked at her. How could be this fragile-looking girl is a werewolf? " So would I wait here tomorrow?" he asked.

"No, don't wait here, it's too dangerous" Belle said, Anna more dangerous than the wild wolves its self. She didn't want Nathan to be attacked by her for no reason, she had seen that kind of scene before. "We'll meet somewhere else, anywhere you like" She walk to the East slowly waiting for him to follow her "Coming?" She smiled as her blue eyes met his.

Nathan wondered what was dangerous. His curiosity did nothing to stop himself from asking."Why is it dangerous?" he asked wondering if it is too much to ask considering what he just did to her tonight. She asked him if he would come,"Of course."he asked and smile a comforting smile of his. "I'll come anywhere you want." he said and lowered his head. " I know it's too fast but I want to say that I'm relived when you let me enter your secret world. So how do you feel? being a .. werewolf?" he asked and felt blood rushing up his face.

When Nathan asked Belle why the forest was dangerous, she stopped and look down. She had been keeping her secret to herself and it was killing her inside. "When I was a little child, I ran to the forest and it was my first full moon. My sister Annabelle ran with me to the forest and unfortunately she was attacked by wild animals. I was afraid at that time and I couldn't do anything except to stay in the bushes. I thought she was dead so I went back home but the manor was on fire. My parents died in the fire and my brother Noah. But I've never seen his grave which is odd. Turned out that my sister is alive and she's trying to either protect me or kill me." She lifted her head a little and forced herself to smile. "Being a werewolf? It's a curse. At least for me" she forced herself to laugh. "enough about me. Tell me about yourself" she said changing the topic.

Nathan felt sympathy toward Maybelle. He wanted to hug her and comfort her in any way he knew but that is not a good sign of a gentleman. He held her chin and raised her face so that their eyes would be leveled. "I'm sorry" he said. He didn't know how to comfort her. He let his hand fall and inhaled. "Me?" he said smiling, "It's a tragic story too but not as tragic as yours." he said looking at her with his boyish smile."no offense" he said. He wanted to change the atmosphere around them he wanted to make the girl happy.

Belle felt comfortable around Nathan, he was so gentle unlike any other man who would try to scare her away or dominate her, he was different. A smile appeared on her face as she looked at him in the eye trying to not show him that she was actually afraid being in the forest all alone. But again, eyes could never lie. "I'll show you the way out it's this way" She walk hoping that he would followed her. "I have to go... Real soon" She said as she look at the sky. "I'll... See you later" She smiled at him waving and ran to the forest as fast as she could.
