It was a beautiful, pink day but it had points of grey, making Emma feel a bit unsettled. Why did the Earth have negative and positive vibrations? It confused her that romance and unclear intentions would share the aura of the sky. She had thought this all throughout her walk down to the Lake Front, but shook it off, deciding that what ever was going to happen, was going to happen, and it didn't necessarily mean that the aura was for her, at least she didn't think it did. Today she was wearing a white and grey dress, and her hair was in soft ringlets and part of it was tied behind her head carefully. It hadn't taken her very long, or she didn't think it had, she never remembered what happened, and when she did she only recieved little snippets of her memories and had to piece things together, but was very good at it so it didn't matter much anyways.
Emily took her sandles off and carefully sat down on the grass hoping she wouldn't get grass stains on her dress. She let her legs hang over the edge of the water front, and her feet rested in the cool, calm water. She smiled seeing ripples being created when she poked her first toe in, then her whole foot, then the other. Through the water she should see her painted toe nails. They were painted a soft blue and had small white flowers on it. She had been looking for something to do when she did that, and was pleased at how steady her hand had been at that time.
The young Ravenclaw looked back up, while she laced her fingers together, and placed her hands on her knees. She looked up at the sky, her chocolate brown eyes hazed over as dreamy thoughts clouded her mind. She chewed on her bottom lip as she thought of her family, wondering if any of them would ever get to join her at Hogwarts New Zealand. She wished they could, she loved them so, and already missed them. Perhaps the thing she missed the most was the Febuary soccer games that would be held each year. She had never missed one, and now she wouldn't be able to go to any of them for seven years. Poor Berol would be so upset with her. They would live though, she would just see them during vacation, maybe even get a few to come to New Zealand with her from Edinburgh, which would be amazing.
The honey, chocolate eyes regained their lustre as Emma came back into reality and turned her torso behind her, wondering if Cyril or Leia were close by. She hadn't seen Cyril in a while, and Leia, although antisocial, was her best friend here. Other thab that there was no one else she really clicked with, but there was Ai, she was an interesting character but a bit morbid for her liking, her music manipulated her in so many ways that it made her feel nauseous. That thought stepped out of her mind, and she crouched her back, bringing her shoulders up closer to her ears, to stretch out, before she corrected her posture to perfection once more.
