It was a beautiful, pink day but it had points of grey, making Emma feel a bit unsettled. Why did the Earth have negative and positive vibrations? It confused her that romance and unclear intentions would share the aura of the sky. She had thought this all throughout her walk down to the Lake Front, but shook it off, deciding that what ever was going to happen, was going to happen, and it didn't necessarily mean that the aura was for her, at least she didn't think it did. Today she was wearing a white and grey dress, and her hair was in soft ringlets and part of it was tied behind her head carefully. It hadn't taken her very long, or she didn't think it had, she never remembered what happened, and when she did she only recieved little snippets of her memories and had to piece things together, but was very good at it so it didn't matter much anyways.

Emily took her sandles off and carefully sat down on the grass hoping she wouldn't get grass stains on her dress. She let her legs hang over the edge of the water front, and her feet rested in the cool, calm water. She smiled seeing ripples being created when she poked her first toe in, then her whole foot, then the other. Through the water she should see her painted toe nails. They were painted a soft blue and had small white flowers on it. She had been looking for something to do when she did that, and was pleased at how steady her hand had been at that time.

The young Ravenclaw looked back up, while she laced her fingers together, and placed her hands on her knees. She looked up at the sky, her chocolate brown eyes hazed over as dreamy thoughts clouded her mind. She chewed on her bottom lip as she thought of her family, wondering if any of them would ever get to join her at Hogwarts New Zealand. She wished they could, she loved them so, and already missed them. Perhaps the thing she missed the most was the Febuary soccer games that would be held each year. She had never missed one, and now she wouldn't be able to go to any of them for seven years. Poor Berol would be so upset with her. They would live though, she would just see them during vacation, maybe even get a few to come to New Zealand with her from Edinburgh, which would be amazing.

The honey, chocolate eyes regained their lustre as Emma came back into reality and turned her torso behind her, wondering if Cyril or Leia were close by. She hadn't seen Cyril in a while, and Leia, although antisocial, was her best friend here. Other thab that there was no one else she really clicked with, but there was Ai, she was an interesting character but a bit morbid for her liking, her music manipulated her in so many ways that it made her feel nauseous. That thought stepped out of her mind, and she crouched her back, bringing her shoulders up closer to her ears, to stretch out, before she corrected her posture to perfection once more.

Kaleb ventured outside for some fresh air. He was wearing a simply black tee shirt with dark, faded blue jeans. His sandy colored hair wisped around him. He had seen his face and all before leaving the Slytherin House, and he thought he looked good. Of course, Kaleb was conceited, but his acting showed that he was humble and thought of himself not higher than dirt. It was perfect acting, and sometimes it even fooled the family. He felt oddly proud of that. The sun felt nice on his slightly pale skin. It was hard for him to tan, but that didn’t stop him from trying. Kaleb twisted arm around a little, allowing more blood flow to rush.

Kaleb saw that his scar from crashing was showing quite clearly, but did he care? No, sir. The Slytherin loved his battle scars. He hoped that Jaken would straighten out of his off mood to actually be fun again. But now, Kaleb doubted that Jaken was still the same after all this time. Either way, Kaleb admired his big brother. The oldest Slytherin in the House, he guessed. He was also attractive to girls, but then again, Kaleb didn’t see that. He only saw how handsome he was in the mirror. Kaleb chuckled to himself at the thought of dazzling himself in front of a mirror.

Kaleb glanced up at the pink sky, and shuddered slightly. He wasn’t much into pink. It looked good on girls, but never on him. Kaleb’s blue-gray eyes spotted a girl that seemed eerily familiar. Emily? Emaline? No, he didn’t know one of them. Emma? Yes! It was Emma. Kaleb strolled over next to her, and kneeled down on his knees. He inquired with his soft, velvet voice, “May I join you?” He smiled gracefully, his acting form kicking in smoothly. This girl was beautiful, and other than that, Kaleb could really careless. But in his acting form, he was vise versa. Kaleb tried to remember what house Emma had gotten into. Wasn’t it Ravenclaw? He was sure it was Ravenclaw now. After all, that is what she said that she was best fit for, right?

“May I join you?”
Emma turned her head towards the boy that spoke to her, she couldn't remember if she knew him or not, so she decided to play it off, and see if he knew her, hopefully during that she would remember. "Suit yourself," she answered with a friendly smile. She pressed her rosy lips together and asked simply for the sake of conversation, "How are you today?" Truth be told, she didn't totally care, but she would be as friendly as possible. Now looking over the water, she caught sight of a small fish, and smiled at it. Two bubbles came out of it's lips before it swam away quickly. With boredom, she picked up a curled strand of blond hair and twirled it between her fingers, her gaze following the end of her hair. She was pleased that she didn't have dead ends even though she hadn't gotten a hair cut in some time, in fact it was before she came to New Zealand.

The blonde, looked over at the boy beside her, her chocolate gaze into his blue-green eyes. Her normally airy eyes seemed calculated, trying to figure out two things. His aura and his name. She thought it started with a K but she couldn't be certian. Keath? Karmichael? Keagan? None of those names fit, so she let out an audible sigh and turned away from the boy.

Kaleb sat down on his bottom, staring ahead at the lake. It was beautiful, but like a typical male, he did not notice the beauty in it. Kaleb stayed silent for a moment, watching the movement of the lake’s surface. He wondered if a squid was really in there. However, his train of thoughts were interrupted by the girl. He turned his gaze to her, any true emotion lacking. Kaleb shrugged lightly, “Eh, just wondering the castle. Something does stun me a bit.” He paused, still trying to recall the girl. Emma. A Ravenclaw, he assumed. Where had he seen her? “Were you the one that hated my cousin, the Parselmouth?” For some odd reason, he thought that this was the girl that had a bad run in with her. Then again, when was any run in with Aleyha ever good when she is in that bad mood of hers? His blue-gray eyes narrowed slightly in thought. He was no longer looking at the beauty next to him, but rather at the horizon. “I keep thinking that you had a run in with her.” He shrugged lightly again.

Emma listened to the boy speak, she smiled one of her Sundrop smiles, before answering calmly, "I feel no need for such emotion." She looked at the boy's hands and saw grey. Why was he gaurded? she asked herself, but didn't ask this aloud, it wasn't her business. "What is your name?" she asked him dreamily. Her soothing tone would make it almost impossible for someone to be offended by her question, and lack of memory of them. "I'm Emily Meminger," she introduced with warmth. She knew this was not her birth given name, but she also didn't know what her natural name was, so she did refer to herself as the name her adoptive parents gave her, Emily Katerina Meminger. She quite liked her middle name, with some people it rolled off their tongues so elegently that she never wanted it to be said by another for fear they would ruin the elegence of the proper pronunciation.

Emily looked over at the dark boy, awaiting his response. Not eager but also not bemused, she was just.. waiting.

I am very sorry for the late response. Please forgive?
