The Cliffs

[Ben Connolly]

Ben Slowly Led Nessa to the Cliffs where he sat down the other night and watched the sun set over the mountains out in the distance. When he got there he turned around and faced her. " You know I'm starting to like you." He said his Aqua eyes looking deep into her gorgeous face.

 

[Vanessa Parker]

"You know I'm starting to like you, too," Vanessa said. He looked into his aqua eyes and stared in to them for a while.

 

[Ben Connolly]

It felt kind of odd, a fifteen year old liking a Twelve year old, maybe Ben was kidding himself or maybe it was something that was going to happen. But what ever happened, Ben didn't want to do anything stupid and hurt her, the way he had been hurt previously, she would know nothing of love and relationships yet. " I could kind of tell." He said as he sat down and dangled his feet off the edge of the cliff and looked out over the valley.

 

[Vanessa Parker]

Vanessa sat down next to him and thought about how weird a 12 year old liking a 15 year old. She thought about Satchel Paige's quote: "Age is a case of mind over matter, if you don't mind, it don't matter." "Maybe we should just... hang out for a bit," she said.

 

[Ben Connolly]

" Yeah that sounds cool." Ben said putting his hands behind him on the ground and looked at the side of her face, she was really pretty, but she did look young, and not only was he fifteen he looked a lot older then what he was. He then laid himself back and looked up at the sky.

 

[Vanessa Parker]

Vanessa touched her Golden Snitch pendant. "Thanks for paying for the pasta and butter beer at the Three Broomsticks," she said, realizing she hadn't thanked him for that yet. "Best food I've ever tasted," she said with a smile.

 

[Ben Connolly]

" It is ok, it is the least I could have done for you." He said with a smile on his face as he looked at her. He began to wonder whether that was her first kiss or not. " Um... Just a question was that your first kiss?"

 

[Vanessa Parker]

Vanessa thought about it and said, "It actually was. All the boys at home are jerks and I didn't really see anybody here who stood out to me."

 

[Ben Connolly]

Ben smiled, he didn't know how come he didn't feel it was the right time to kiss her again even though he wanted to really bad. So instead he just laid there. " Then along comes me, and I just kiss you straight up and didn't even know if you wanted your first kiss to be like that." Looking up at the sky he realized how rash he could act sometimes, what if she was just confused about him kissing her, and she thought she liked him.

 

[Vanessa Parker]

Sorry if I creeped you out by..... well... saying what I did in the Three Broomsticks. Sometimes whatever I think just flies right out of my mouth," Vanessa said. "Not a good thing sometimes."

 

[Ben Connolly]

"You speak your mind that is a good thing, it would be bad if you bottled it all up and didn't say what you feel." Ben said sitting back up so he was right next to her at the time. Turning his head to look at her he waited for her to turn her head around and look at him.

 

[Vanessa Parker]

"Most of the time it's good, but a few times you don't want people to know what you think, like if someone's clothes look ugly and they walk near you. That would not be good," Vanessa said. She felt him looking at her, so she smiled back at him.

 

[Ben Connolly]

" True that would not be to good." He said softly his eyes focused on hers. There was something about her eyes he couldn't stop staring at, he just had to keep looking at them. He felt like leaning over a little bit and kissing her again, but he didn't know if she wanted him to or not, so he would wait for her to kiss him a second time.

 

[Vanessa Parker]

Vanessa looked into Ben's aqua eyes. She was still smiling, and she couldn't stop, but she kept it from turning in to a silly grin. She was surprised her brain couldn't think of anything to say yet again. She thought for a moment and then she said, "The view from here is really beautiful."

 

[Ben Connolly]

Ben felt kind of let down that she didn't kiss him but he still smiled. " Yeah It is beautiful." He said looking out and then back to her again. He leaned in and planted a soft kiss on her cheek ad then laid back on the ground looking up at the sky. " You know you would have to be the best person I know."

 

[Vanessa Parker]

Vanessa blushed a bit, then she said, "Thanks. You're one of the best people I know also."

 

[Ben Connolly]

" So what spells have you learned at Hogwarts?" He asked hoping she would know more then him all he knew was lumos, knox, and expelliarmus. They weren't the best of spells but yet he didn't care he was meant to be in his fifth year and that was all he knew how to do.

 

[Vanessa Parker]

"I actually missed some of year 1 and some of year 2, so I don't know as much as other 2nd years. I know Nox, Lumos, Stupefy, Accio, Expelliarmus, Alohomora, and Reparo," she said. "Not a lot, but I'm trying to catch up."

 

[Ben Connolly]

" I know hardly any of them." Ben said smiling, she was more talented then he was and more talented then he probably ever will be. " So when I enroll what house do you reckon I will end up in?"

 

[Vanessa Parker]

"Maybe in Hufflepuff like me, I didn't even think I was going to be in Hufflepuff. My family all thought Ravenclaw. I don't think you'll be in Slytherin, but you could be. That sorting hat works in weird ways sometimes. Don't tell it I said that," she said. She smiled at him.

 

[Ben Connolly]

Ben laughed at her not wanting him to tell the sorting hat it was weird. " Don't worry I won't tell." He said sitting back up, he didn't like laying down any more the ground was to hard and t was digging into his back. Putting his hand kind of behind him in a tripod position his hand met hers, but he didn't want to move it.

 

[Vanessa Parker]

Vanessa felt his hand touch her hand, but she didn't move it. "Good, because I don't want it to attack me, but how would a hat attack? Hmmm......." she said. She started to laugh at the thought of a hat attacking a person by sitting on their head.

 

[Ben Connolly]

Ben smiled at the Idea of a hat attacking someone, it was hard to imagine. " I have no Idea maybe it climbs onto your hear and belts you with the tip or something." He said smiling as he looked over at Nessa with a large smile on his face. " Nessa." He said softly trying to get her attention again so she would turn to face him.

 

[Vanessa Parker]

She turned and looked at him as she laughed about the idea of the hat doing what he said. "Bad hat! Don't attack a student!" she said, still laughing.

 

[Ben Connolly]

Ben slowly moved in towards her, tilting his head to the side slightly as he kissed her lips once more, he couldn't help it, it was like a drug, once he had a taste of them he always wanted more. There lips met once again and he savored the moment for a while before the lips parted and he rested her fore head on his.
