Personality and Traits
Thanatos was very shy during his years at Hogwarts, but as he grew up and left home, he became much more confident. He developed a hunger for power, although not the sort that the Ministry could offer. He loved having control over people, and became practiced at manipulation. His incredible lying skills bought him a place in the Death Eaters ranks, while he was still young, and he became a useful tool.
Despite his lust for power, the idea of being Head Death Eater or Minister for Magic doesn't appeal to Thanatos. He'd rather work in the background, and watch everyone else do the hard work, just butting in occasionally to add his own twist.
He's a little sadistic, and enjoys watching others squirm, particularly woman. He finds them easiest to manipulate, as being gay, he has no physical attraction to them. He finds them very easy to charm, and will often have many 'girlfriends' at once, all who he uses, manipulates, and the destroys, either physically or mentally.
Thanatos smiles a lot, covering up his real thoughts. He usually puts on a cheery disposition, even what the situation is dark, and everyone else is unhappy or afraid. He doesn't hate anyone, even the woman he kills. He gets on with life, and does his best to enjoy it - If his enjoyment means sacrificing a few people, then so be it.
Young men are his biggest weakness. Although Thanatos has never been in love, he often finds himself very attracted to good looking men, usually younger than him, in their early twenties, and sometimes even late teens. There are only two situations that make Thanatos feel awkward; When he's fearing for his life, or when he's in the presence of someone he has a crush on, or might possibly develop one for. He usually goes for young, shy men, preferring to be the dominant one in the relationship.
Thanatos doesn't usually like children, but has a soft spot for his niece, Athene. She wasn't always the spoiled, arrogant child that she is now. He used to think that she was a lot like him as a child, but has since begun to change his mind. He often has her to stay for some time during the School Holidays, at his home behind the Leaky Cauldron.
Thanatos enjoys his job, working as a barman and manager. It gives him the chance to meet knew people, and he usually has a good idea about whats going on in the Wizarding World because of it.

Thanatos was the youngest child in his family, and was always envious of the attention his older brother received. Leonardo was the family heir and would be inheriting the mansion and most of the money.
Thanatos, however, was very fond of his older sister, Julie, who was just a few years his senior.
Thanatos was shy boy, and Julie, detesting the name Thanatos (Loki had named his youngest son after the God of Death), nicknamed Thanatos 'Theo'. Theo was short for Theodore, which was Thanatos' mothers first choice for a name for him when he was born.
It was in Thanatos' fourth year at Hogwarts England that he discovered his attraction to the same sex. His first crush was on a Slytherin boy who was also a member of the Slytherin Quidditch team. Thanatos found himself both shy and awkward around the older student. However, he never announced his feelings. He later found himself attracted to various other male students, and took a third year boy to a school event in his 7th year.
Julie was the only member of his family that he spoke to about being gay.
Thanatos' best subject at Hogwarts was Potions. In fact, he received the highest scores in the class, year after year. This was partially out of desire to impress the quidditch player, who he had learned had an interest in the subject.
Thanatos also exceeded in Care of Magical Creatures, Transfiguration and Charms.
In the year 2007, due to the huge movement of the French wizarding families to England, many European witches and wizards moved to the Southern Hemisphere, the Perthro family included. Patricia Perthro was adamant on them living in New Zealand, and so they moved to the small village of Glen Massey, where their manor is surrounded by beautiful bush.
In late 2008, shortly after the move, Patricia Perthro gave birth to twins, Artemis and Athene. Thanatos adored both children, and was devastated when Artemis died in 2017.
In 2009 Thanatos was initiated as a Death Eater and given the Dark Mark.

In 1969 the Perthro family moved to England.
1970s
In 1971 Loki and Olive were both sorted into Slytherin at Hogwarts England.
in 1978 Lokie and Olive both graduated from Hogwarts England.
1980s
In 1982 Loki (22) married Liesl Dotterweich (21). It was a marriage for convenience rather than love; Loki was the only Perthro heir, and needed to marry into a decent family.
In 1983 they had their first child, a son, and named him Leonardo.
In 1984 they had their first and only daughter, and named her Julie.
1990s
In 1990 they had their second son, Thanatos, who was the only child named by Loki.
In 1993 Liesl, after years of being abused by Loki, went insane.
In 1993 Leonardo was sorted into Slytherin at Hogwarts England.
In 1994 Julie was sorted into Slytherin at Hogwarts England.
In 1995 Liesl was sent to Azkaban for life for using the Killing Curse on a muggle, and torturing many more.
