Ruben was in New Zealand with his family, having always been with his family the young boy had been very surprised by the decision to send him to Durmstrang for schooling instead of New Zealand, but he was still pretty pleased about it, given that his two brothers had also attended the school which gave it a little more legacy than he was currently sitting with. The boy had finished up with his first year of school and was more than happily trying to push himself into doing more things but it wasn't a good thing that he and his brother were just so completely different people, where the eldest was quiet and the middle brother selective, Ruben was talkative, some times just never stopping what he was saying until he was finished. He liked going to Durmstrang though he found he was pushed around quite often, not that he cared, despite being relatively intelligent he like just hanging around people and was always trying to talk to them no matter how they reacted to him.
Currently he was happily spending time in Harbour, where his parents had left him, and he was left to his own devices, as a twelve year old he assured them that he was perfectly capable of doing such a thing, and if worst came to worst he just had to send a message to his brother who was at work in the ministry building not too far from this place. The boy looked around him and then noticed a girl about his age standing off in the distance, with nothing better to do the boy waved his hands at her, "HELLO!" he yelled before running over to where she stood, "I'm Ruben, who are you? Do you go to school here in New Zealand? I think I would've made a pretty good Gryffindor, but I went to Durmstrang instead, I don't know if Durmstrang is a better school, but I like it, do you like Hogwarts?" he asked all with one breath, moving to stand in front of her with a huge smile on his face.
