After that, she was afraid to stay in homes, especially since the ones that found out how much trouble she was kept giving her back.
She kept running away, never able to be kept in one place for long. That was how she ran into Briar Rowan-Cullen, and the woman was stubborn enough to keep Tara there long enough to make it a home. She eventually fell in with the family, and built a stable enough life to go to HNZ for a few years as a Gryffindor. It was there that she met her birth brother, Casper, who just so happened to be the perfect puzzle piece for her adpoted brother Linden. And with Casper came his adopted family, the Becketts, which also brought in Stan. Tara fell for him hard, and even after graduation he's still her batsy, and she's content to follow him around and bother him for the rest of their days.
