Rubie's legs needed a break, as well as her arms. She had been shopping, for both Hogwarts, and fun. But now her feet were begining to ache, so a little annoyed, she reluctanly sat down on a bench in the street. She dumped her bags, and leaned back. She decided that people watching was all that she could do for the moment, so she just randomly watched people come in and out of shops.

Madeline was visiting Brightstone with her Grandfather however he had taken to meeting with some old friends in one of the local bars and had let Madeline alone to go exploring. Madeline was perfectly pleased with this idea and had left her uncle before he had the chance to tell her not to get into trouble. Madeline began walking around a bit bored as she saw all the people walking around the village with there own agenda's for the day, Madeline wanted to have her own plan but didn't know what it should be yet. It would be a few months before she was at Hogwarts and would be allowed to perform magic openly but until then she would have to keep her wand silent and hidden in her back pocket. Snow was lying on the ground as Madeline went behind one of the buildings and began rolling up a few snowballs. Madeline grabbed her collection of ammo and began looking around for unsuspecting victims.

She saw an older woman walking with a few children and decided that they would be the perfect starters as she through a snowball at one of the boys and ran back behind one of the stores. Madeline could here the boy shout as he felt the cold and couldn't help but laugh at that as his mother rushed him along having not seen what had happened. Madeline continued moving throughout the stores until she saw a girl sitting on a bench watching everyone. Madeline figured she would be a perfect target as she held the snowball into her hand. Madeline moved throughout the buildings until she was sure she had a good enough distance to make her shot. Smiling slightly wondering if the girl would be able to see her or not, she threw the snowball as hard as she could towards the girl.
